BT stack file TosBTMng.Exe hungs up on shutdown
Hi
I'm running a FSC-Notebook which came with the Toshiba BT-Stack. The notebook is in W-XP, SP2, MCE, kept up to date with patches from M$. I've installed the 5.10.12 BT-Stack. At Shut-Down the PC stops with a window that TosBTMng.exe isn't responding. (not ready) How can I fix this?
I was trying to hunt for the error with SysMon from M$ and I've seen that TosBTMng is trying to access Registry-Keys which are not present. The installation was correct, with no errors. Any ideas to keep this fixed? Thanks

BT stack file TosBTMng.Exe causes 100% CPU Load
I'm also facing the problem that the Toshiba Bluetooth Manager (TosBtMng.exe) very often starts looping and causes a CPU load of 100%.
This happened with older versions of the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and current version (5.1.0.12).
The affected system is a Tecra S1, internal BT-Modul and Windows XP SP2.
Installation of the BT-Stack went well and the notebook will boot succesfull while BT is enabled. I also checked for hidden COM-Ports and other hints found in this forum, no success.
The lockup seems to happen at different times. Sometimes just after are reboot, clicking on the BT Tray symbol with the right mouse button. Then the context menu is shown just as white area, no entries. It may also trying to connect to an already paired device. If I kill the process with the task manager I can restart and it continues to work for some time.
As found in another thread here I have enabled API logging of the Bluetooth Manager and found the following while connecting with the Nokia PC Suite to my mobile Phone:

A new COM port is successfully created (COM23), and a few seconds later the CPU Load of TosBtMng goes up to 100%, but no API calls are performed. And if you wait long enough the phone gets connected and data can be transferred. However, very slowly.
Probably due to the high CPU load a next COM (COM24) port will be created sometime later and this process is then repeated again:

Maybe this helps to locate the origin of the CPU load problem of the Bluetooth Manager.

GerhardI was having the same problem, and it turned out to be the Data execution prevention settings. I had turned on (System->Advanced->Data execution protection) the execution prevention for all programs, causing TosBTMng.exe to max out one processor core all the time. The solution was to add TosBtMng.exe to the list of exceptions and restart. I'd looked high and low for a solution - hope this helps someone else!

My English may by isn't very good.
I have a problem with the Toshiba Bluetooth Personal Area Network adapter in my other manufacturer notebook.
Allways when the bluetooth-manager TosBtMng.exe is running it takes 100% of the second part in my Intel Dual core processor.
I already updated the driver today, but the problem is still the same. I took that files from Fujitsu Siemens support.
Can get I newer one direct from Toshiba anywhere?
By searching the internet I found out, that some other have got the same problem, but nothing to fix.
Operating system is Windows XP SP2.
Can somebody help me?I have an identical problem. We use Dell Latitude D830 laptops with a Dell wireless 360 module, which is a toshiba module. I have the orignal stack and the upgraded one and have tried both.
I did a ground up image and I noticed that the tosbtmng.exe would only tie up the CPU when logging onto the domain. It would do fine if i logged on the machine with a local account.
Any thoughts??? -
EHP1 Installation - error during the XML stack file check.

I'm updating CRM with EHP1 and I'm stuck at the phase PREP_EXTENSION/SUBMOD_EXTENSION_NEW/SELSTACKXML. Something wrong with the XML stack file. I get this error:

There's one problem with the file SAPEXEDB_82-10007250.SAR, which was in the download basket, but is not available for download. I deleted the record in the XML stack file and tried the phase again... with no success. Going through the XML file and checking if the packages have been downloaded is a real pain in the ***.
Anyway, can I somewhere download this file SAPEXEDB_82-10007250.SAR?
Or can anyone help me, how solve this issue different way?

-StefanOK, I got it. Wrong installation number. We had to change the installation number in the stack file according the system in the Solution Manager via transaction SMSY. Then it worked like a charm.

EHP4 upgrade -- Error at loading stack file
Hi guys,
I have come across an error while upgrading to EHP4, after making a stack file from solution manager maintainance optimiser, I got the error of "no access to solution manager then I gave the path of stack file and it worked. Now it has sever error : Stack file is invalid. (stack release 2005_1_700 < source release 2008_1_700). Thats because after installing EHP4 ready the level of ST-PI is 2008_1_700 and the solution manager is calculating it 2005_1_700.
Any sugestions on it....>

Stack file that is generated does not contain any java components
We are in process of upgrading our ecc6.0 system with ehp4. The enhancement is stuck up in configuration phase for JAVA. Though we have configured Java in solution manager the stack file that is generated does not contain any java components and so the installation is stuck up. Kindly request you to advice us on this issue .

You will probably need to update Solution Manager first with a number of corrections so you can get a correctly generated stack file. Depending on your ST400 version in Solution Manager apply collective corrections from "Note 1461849 - MOpz: Collective corrections 24" or "Note 1452118 - MOpz: Collective Corrections 23". They generally deal with these kind of stack file issues.

will convert class files into a .EXE form. The only
disadvantage is that users need a Microsoft Java
Virtual Machine (JVM) installed. If your target
platform is Win32, you can either redistribute the
virtual
machine, or raise the level of your system
requirements, to include Windows 98, or Windows 95
with
Internet Explorer 4. Systems matching these
requirements will already have a copy of the Microsoft
Java Virtual Machine installed.
Note : You must specify all of the class files your
application needs (except for standard java packges)
as a parameter, so if you have third party libraries,
you'll need to include them as well. You can use wildcards * though, and you don't need the original source code.

If it's the latter then you need to make the jar file including a manifest.
The manifest can be just a txt file with its content to be something like this:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.7.1
Created-By: Somebody
Main-Class: NameOfTheMainClass
Class-Path:
X-COMMENT: Main-Class will be added automatically by buildTo make the jar file including the manifest, use something like this in your command prompt (of course you must have compiled your java file(s) first):
jar cfm test.jar MANIFEST.txt NameOfTheMainClass.classAfter that you'd be able to run your application just by double clicking it.
If you're a NetBeans user, you can build your standalone application by right-clicking your project and then going to properties => run => and choosing a Main class. After that right click on that project and "Clean and Build", locate the jar file in the "dist" folder and double click it =]

Error while downloading the stack file
Hi,
I'm in the process of upgrading my EhP4 system to EhP5.
While trying to generate the file via MOPZ, I just can't seem to "Continue" with the Enhancement package installation option.
The error's as follows:
"Successor installed for SAP SNC 2007."--Check SMSY. (SMSY is perfectly reflecting whatever's installed on the ECC system.)
I just can't figure out where SNC has cm in from.
I do have the component ECC-SE on 604...does this have anything to do with it?

I've had the same problem as you building the stack file for an EHP5 upgrade and have CPRXRPM version 400 installed. I used you idea of adding SAP SNC 7.0 as an installed product under the ERP system which enabled be to continue the mopz config and build a stack file.
Now when attempting the upgrade I get :-
"The Installation/Upgrade Package for Add-on SCMSNC rel. 700 is not available"
This is not that surprising I guess as its not installed.
Did you also come across this, if so were you able to bypass this?

When updating my ipod I as prompted got message on my laptop----Runtime Error Prog: C:\Prog Files\iTunes.exe R6034 An applicationhas made an attempt to load the C Runtime Library incorrectly. Please contact support. Error 7(Windowserror 1114)
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional that I want to migrate to my newer laptop running Windows 7. I downloaded the file 22020134.exe to reinstall it on my new computer and I go through the hops and when I put in the Serial Number it tells me its invalid.
22020134.exe is the file Adobe say you must download and run to instal Acrobat 7.0 Pro. I went through the process, the one described in your link, I downloaded the file, ran it, it runs well, except it tells me my serial number is invalid. Now what? Does this mean I now have to discard my Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional and start again with a $500 purchase? All I want to do is transfer what I have to another computer.
