The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.
If you cannot get this information from the seller

As I said, I bougth my IPhone 4S (it's my first IPhone). In the brochure inside the box, it is mentioned FaceTime Application (in both English and Arabic), but the Icon is not there. I checked with another collegaues that also have the IPhone and they have the icon to run the app, but not my phone.
I would like to solve this issue, and I believe that Iphone should have a technical solution for it.

Check Settings>FaceTime>On and Settings>General>Restrictions>FaceTime>ON. On the 4 & 4S FaceTime is accessed through contacts. Go into your Contacts, access the contact you want to FaceTime with and you will see a tab at the bottom of their contact card. You can also access FaceTime by going into your Phone app, select dialling keypad, dial number, press call and an option for FaceTime on the keypad will appear. It should be noted that FaceTime has been removed from iPhones sold in some Middle Eastern countries at the express wish of the respective Governments. I want to put music onto my partners phone from my Mac computer. The message comes up that her phone is synced with another iTunes library (not in use anymore) and do I want to erase this iPhone and sync with this itunes library.

There is currently no music on her iPhone and all the apps are already in the iTunes library on the mac that I want to sync it to so its not a problem, the apps won't be lost.
My question is are photos and messages and contacts classified as iPhone contents? Because I don't want those to be wiped. So can I sync her phone to this iTunes library? I have not been able to find online whether or not photos and contacts will be lost.
Also her phone is already backed up on this computer because it gets plugged into it all the time we have just not tried to put music onto it yet until now.

i have a story about my sister, am talking on her behalf, she got stolen her phone at a caffee when she just come from a horeble exam, she was very mad and having haedace for not doing well at the exam, i ask her if we could have coffee before we go home, once she sate; while i was getting the coffee for her, some one snicked to her pocket and took the phone, immidatly she feelt it and went on to searching, but nathing was hopefull. what makes it more heart braking is that she worked day and night just to buy the phone and pay for her books and so on as a student. she use to work 16 houres a day before she had to start school. 8 houres in one place and then to the other place. and she was always demanding for more houres to work; one day her boss saw her on her other job and she was serprised to see her and saied OHhh my God Milly if you work like this, i wonder if you servive, how could you also ask for more houres, My sis had to do it she has no parents or any thing, well the phone was taken after only two months of having it. the sad thing is she stile dream having it even though she can't think of buying againe. well me i have tryed a lot of things but i know some were out there there is a solution for people like this, it is not always fare for some one who has payed up to 800 to just loose his ......

I'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

I just got the i phone 4 on Friday and it has shut off and not come back on twice. I was able to get it to come on by holding the top button down for a few seconds but i don't want to have to do that. Also, i am having a problem with texting, i will send a text and the person on the other end says that I have sent a blank text. Assuming the phone isn't jailbroken, the basic steps (as needed) are:
Restart phone (you already did this)
Reset phone
Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup

If your phone is jailbroken, this is the most frequent cause of the problems you described. Restoring could permanently brick the phone.
Note that your iOS is old and the current version is 4.2.8. It's odd that it wasn't updated when your activated your phone in iTunes, being that you got it last Friday.

My phone keeps telling me the cable plugged in is not certified for my iPhone! There is nothing plugged in atall and this comes up every 30 secs or so,how can I turn it off?

Thanks for the question. This alert usually appears if there is debris in your dock connector. Check to make sure it is free of any debris:
“This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone."
"This accessory is not supported by this device."
If either of these alerts appear and nothing is connected to the dock connector, make sure that the dock connector is free of debris.

Just check the box that says do not show again when it pops up. That should Stop the pop ups all the time.
I am very dissapointed with my phone . My S5 has been very buggy, likes to freeze up , lags , drains battery in about 4-5 hours, loses data connection in "Good Signal" areas ( drops down to 3g and 1x data or says 4g lte but Web pages fail to load , say no data connection). Camera has also crashed on me twice already.

I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not turning off. I'm not sure if you have tried this, but I recommend first trying to reset your iPhone:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
