BT Totalbroad Band and BT openzone login
Hi Folks,
So I've now got BT Total broadband which is supposed to include all the BT openzone time I want. However when I log onto an openzone access point I have to login. I have no idea what the login details are meant to be and I havent ever been sent any specifically for this.
Any idea anyone. Am I just being a thickie?

I had the same problem at a Starbucks. I was eventually able to work around it by downloading the "Boingo Mobile Wi-Fi" iPhone app from the App Store. Simply having this app installed on your iPad disables the "captive network" feature (the login popup); you don't even have to open it. (Apparently Apple has a list of apps like this that disable the captive network feature, but Boingo is the only one I know of.)
With this app installed on your iPad, connect to the BT OpenZone hotspot through the Settings app. Then launch Safari and navigate to any web page. (I usually open a new page and type "test" into the Google search box.) The OpenZone login page will appear, but this time as a normal Safari web page, and the login buttons should work properly.

I have version 3.6.16 and when I login to my hotmail account, and type the first letter of the email address, a drop down box appears with my hotmail address and I can choose it from that box with a click.

I would start your troubleshooting with the article below for issues of not being able to log in to your Mac. Start with booting up in to Safe Boot as well as resetting PRAM on your Mac. If that does not work, then verify the hard drive with booting to the Recover HD and go to Disk Utility to verify it.

I have a iphone 5 and I can login with my apple id to purchase music. However, when I try to login into icloud using the very same username and password that I use in the apple store it does not work to enter icloud, so what what gives???
I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.

Issue:
Cisco firewalls require only one level of password i.e. the domain username and password are used for both logging in as well as reaching global configuration mode.
Background:
We have multiple Cisco network devices set up which authenticate to our Windows domain controller using NPS (Windows 2008 R2). The switches we have set up all function exactly as we would hope as they require your domain username and password to login to the device. They then require a separate password when you use the enable command, this is stored in Active Directory:
Switches:
Username:domain-username
Password:domain-password
SWITCH>enable
Password:enable-password-in-Active-Directory
SWITCH#
Firewalls (as they currently are):

Password:domain-password
FIREWALL>enable

With the firewalls however, they require your domain username and password first, and then your domain password again when using the enable command. I want the firewalls to use the enable level password that the switches currently use instead of the domain password again. The current configuration look like the following:

Any help would be great, thanks!Cisco ASA works that way by design. You could remove "aaa authentication enable" and then you could use the "enable password" command to set your enable password.
But if you do that, then ASA would change your username to "enable_15". That would break Authorization and Accounting if you're using them. Let me clarify with an example

Current privilege level : 1
Current Mode/s : P_UNPR

Then you'll have to use another iOS device or Mac running OS X Lion or higher to create a new account for you to use on your phone. If you don't have one, perhaps a friend would allow you to create and account on their device (note: this will use one of their three maximum accounts). To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.

Your signature lists both, Mac and iOS device - are you asking about GarageBand on your Mac or your iPhone/iPad?
If you are asking about the upgrade from GarageBand '11 to GarageBand 10.0 on your Mac, the old GarageBand version should still be installed. The installer will have moved GarageBand '11 to a separate folder "GarageBand 6.0.5" in your Applications folder. Open this folder and click "GarageBand". Does this version still see your old projects? If not, type ".band" into the Spotlight searchfield in the upper right corner of your screen. Does that sfind your missing projects?
If you are asking about GarageBand on iPad/iPhone, there it is not possible to restore the previous version after you upgraded. And I do not see, how this upgrade could have deleted your projects. Have they completely vanished, or can you not open them any longer? If your projects have vanished, restore your device from your backup: See: iCloud: Backup and restore overview

Downloaded and installed os x yosemite on iMac that was purchased originally with Mavericks. When power button is pressed I get start up audio tone and then the the black screen with the white apple symbol with the progression bar. The bar moves very slowly two about one third and then the mouse cursor appears and there it stalls for around two minutes. After the wait the login screen appears and it operates normally. This whole process before update would only take maybe 30 seconds.
If I try the web recovery process it will revert back to Mavericks any suggestions on what this might be. I do have an external Mac passport pro external drive that does have time machine enabled and has been there for months.
ThanksAfter spending a number of hours with Apple Care personnel I was connected with a supervisor and finally got the iMac to boot up on every attempt and in a reasonable amount of time. Login screen now comes on in 30 to 40 seconds and computer is usable within a total time of 1 minute to 1minute 30 seconds.
Here was the process. Tried to download whole operating system with reinstall from utilities menu at power on and at 7 hours progress bar stalled at one third the way. Reason, time machine external hard drive was still connected during process. Disconnected all external connections except power and tried download again. This time whole operating system downloaded in 15 to 20 minutes. Yosemite installed and rebooted automatically and booted to login screen, signed in then to desktop, but boot took around five minutes. Shutdown and connected all peripherals, i.e.. ext. HD, DVD, printers and tried to start. iMac stalled at 2 minutes into progression bar with white apple symbol before login screen. Removed peripherals and tried again and still stalled and would not boot.
What was done to correct is as follows. Started iMac in Safe Mode, cleared all items in cache from Macintosh HD/Library folder and System /Library folder, system start up items, launch agents, and launch daemons contents cleared, removed printers in system preferences, ran disk utilities verify and repair of disk and disk permissions. Shutdown and removed power from iMac. With no peripherals system then booted normally. Reconnected peripherals while iMac was still on and added printers back to system preferences and all is well.
So it seems only reasonable that the downloading problem was hindered by the time machine external hard drive, to which an Apple rep. agreed and the extremely slow boot up or stalled boot up was caused by items in the start up and launch folders. I will state here that I was using my ISP's anti virus software for the Mac which was in the launch folders and most likely was causing the boot up problems. -

I thought it was a monitor problem at first, but I'm using a 10-bit per channel Eizo. It seems to be a Photoshop bug based on many layers interacting with each other. When I flatten everything is fine. But I need to work on this image with layers and decent fidelity. Interestingly when I convert to 8-bit without flattening (and utilising the dither function to potentially reduce banding even further), it uses the terrible artifact laden/banding to do the conversion even though when I zoom into 1:1 in my 16-bit document it looks fine. But 50% or 25% zoom I suddenly get these awful artifacts.
Here's some screenshots to clarify. Please note I've used Photoshop for 24 years so I'm no slouch but this is the first time I've seen this. The problem is I need to do some subtle airbrush and texture work on this and it's almost unusable unless I flatten (please note, it does the same in the original 8-bit file and just to say I Gaussian-Blurred every layer with a 30px radius after converting to 16-bit so the there's no longer any 8-bit information in there or reasons for banding/artifacts). I can only think it is some of bug in Photoshop's layering engine.
Has anyone seen this before - dealt with this before?

help!I can't speak to why, perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I can speak to that. But if it only happens at certain views then it's purely a display issue; it won't happen in print or when you downsample to display size. Such banding issues have always disappeared for me when I output to 8 bit.
I'd assume that it's because of your monitor; it can't display all the colors and when zoomed out there's too wide of a range in a small area so banding occurs. But that's just my guess. -
I changed my apple id from the one I used to originally sign up to iCloud and now cannot login to iCloud - do I need to change it back to the original apple id in order to access iCloud?
Gosh, this is full of great information and I need something a little bit deeper - and because I'm not a techy - can I explain...Apple ID changed a year ago from a work email to a personal email. No longer have access to original email..... New email and Apple ID worked flawlessly until today - every 3 seconds Sign in to iCloud pops up.. with the old work email. I enter the password - which is the same... and it says invalid.
I tried to delete the icloud, but you need the password and it says "find my phone" is on... i turn it off, and it's the old email... and the password again doesn't work, of course.
I am left stratching my head... I sync my phone and my correct, up to date email is in the Apple ID sections...
What am I doing wrong.. talk slow to me please, lol.
