BT wont credit my account and re-bill me!! Chat in...

I have been having difficulties with BT for 7 months now! they really are driving me mad, i have phoned, been on instant chat to them soooo many times, no one listerns at all to what you say.
I was made unemployed back in Nov, this meaning i was unable to pay my BT bill, i called BT and told them my situation and that i was having to sign on, but with the amount i was getting, trying to support myself with food, pay bills and rent difference i was setting up payment plans with people, of £5-10 month, BT said that "everyone is treated the same" and wouldnt set up a payment plan for me, just wanted me to pay the bill in full, again i said i couldnt do this, i said i would pay what amount i can - which i did do up until BT decided to terminate my contract, send me final bills and say that i cancelled it all!!!!! they then charge me £49 for the BB Box!!! i spoke to someone on BT Chat i again explained my situation, and they were not interested, i said i will send the box back and thay can refund acc £49, she kept saying cant do this, until i pointed out that BT had sent me an email stating i can do this and amount be credited back.  She then agreed and sent me a returns envelope, told me to keep receipt of posting, which i have done.  Today i have come back onto Live Chat, spekaing to someone who has taken over an hour now to not get anywhere, as i type they still not replied to a message i have asked 5 times.....he has checked and seen BB box has been returned, said will credit acc, so i asked for re-bill to be sent out showing this credit applied and new balance, apparently BT cannot do this as bill has already been sent - YES for the old amount, surely when a credit is applied this amends my account and a re-billed gets sent?? i have had a re-bill sent before years ago, so why cant this be done now?
Also i have debt collectors now chasing for BT adding 25% admin fee ontop, i asked the man on Live Chat if he can inform them of new amount/explain whats happened or cancel this action as RE-BILL me - but he has avoided this question 5 times now and i am getting right hacked off!!!!
Yes i am ranting, but this is really stressing me out now, i cant help fact i am unemployed - wasnt my intention to be jobless and it isnt greatest time of my life right now struggling and applying for jobs and getting nowhere in this countrys state at the mo.....at least im trying and i have phone BT back 6months ago to let them know straight away - as shows on back of bill - difficulty paying ring - well whats the point when "everyone treated same" and no payment plans allowed!!! 
I have asked for a manager to call me, but they wont do this either, i would really appricate some help with this issue to get resolved ASAP.

They normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days they will take personal ownership of your problem until resolved and will keep you informed of progress
They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved

    How do I cancel a credit card account and just use my i tunes card?  Every time I try to use my i tunes card, it reverts back to the credit card account which I do not want to use.

    If you do not have your card registered to your iTunes Store account, then these are most likely fraudulent charges to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account. Report the charges as fraudulent to your bank. They will probably cancel your existing credit card and issue you a new one.

    I want to cancel my itunes account. They keep charging my credit card.  I tried deleting my credit card information and it wouldn't delete it unless I put in another one.  So i seem to be trapped paying these people over and over.  I can't download any free apps without a credit card number.  The card number is in for that not for the itunes, my grandaughter got for free trial.

    If you're getting a repetitive billing, then someone most likely signed up for a subscription to something. You can stop the subscription by following these instructions:

    The other possibility is that someone who downloaded an app through your iTunes Store account is making in-app purchases. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base app but charge for additional features such as additional levels, game features, etc. You can confirm this by looking at the receipts for the purchases or in your purchase history and see what's being charged. If you change the password to your iTunes Store account, that should cut off such purchases.

    I understand you are having issues adding payment information to your account.
    If your account information does not match your credit card, you may get a message stating "The credit card was declined."
    To expand on the above, your billing name or address may not match the address listed on your credit card statement. Any discrepancy in punctuation, abbreviation, or capitalization can cause errors, which might prevent you from purchasing from the iTunes Store. If you moved, or if your zip code changed recently, ask your credit card company to make sure their records are up to date and match exactly what you are entering as your billing information.

  • I renewed and Skype gave me a double account and is billing me monthly...

    I had already contacted customer service via your chat several times. The agent said it was resolved and the double account would be closed. He also told be I would get the two 30.00 charges refunded. I never got the refunds and the account remains open. I have tried twice to contact chat since the proposed correction and the agents say the systems are down. This is really unacceptable and ridiculous! I paid for one yearly account, try to renew my yearly account and end up with two accounts, one billing me an outrageuos 30.00 a month. Something I never asked for. I need this resolved now. I don't have time to be contacting skype on a daily basis.

    How can anyone here know what they gave you? None of us were there in the store at the time. I'd suggest you go back to the store and ask them. A "replacement phone" means exactly that - a "replacement" for the faulty "phone" you returned.
    Whatever you were given, it will be identical to the one that was replaced (apart from it works).
    There is no difference between a refurbished phone, and a new one, except the refurbished one has actually been through more checks that it is ok, than a new one.

    Question;   I have been using I Tunes for over three years now. The other night I chose a movie to watch on my IPad2 and rented it and began the download and all seemed Ok. Then I could not find the movie, went to my account page and I had already been charged for the movie and I Tunes was already paid but NO moviie anywhere. I sent an email to ITunes but so far no response and it has been several days now.  When I try to go to the purchased page or rentals page I get the message that says "Cannot connect to this page, try again later" and this is what I get over and over again.  Also, did anyone out there know that ITunes charges a different amount for a movie depending on whether you are using a laptop or an IPad.  The laptop is $3.99 and the IPad is $4.99 for the same movie.  Is anyone else on to this?
    Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your help.  Oh, almost forgot, when I click on the downloads button it only goes to a page with Something about agreements with software and gives you choices of all the countries on earth and when you choose the USA it gives you the same old message of sorry cannot connect, try again later.  Does anyone have the phone number of ITunes?  Thanks

    As far as the prices, the difference is likely the laptop version is the SD version and the iPad one is available in HD. That's the only reason you'll see a price difference. It has nothing to do with the device with movies/movie rentals. Apps yes, these no.

    If I understand you correctly, you are expecting to make a partial payment toward a balance you own, and I don't think it works that way. You'll probably have to purchase another iTunes card so that the total amount you redeem between the two cards is more than the amount you owe before anything will register.
    If after redeeming another iTunes Store card you still show the balance - it doesn't get cleared - then contact the iTunes Store and explain the situation:

    When I attempted to check the monthly statement for my credit card account and clicked on "See statement", the next screen that appeared, which was labeled Online Statement", was blank. In the past, I have never had any problems with this. When I checked with the bank that issued the credit card, the representative I spoke with said that it was a browser issue and that, since I was working on a Mac, I should try using Safari. When I switched to Safari, I had no problem bringing up my statement. But I would prefer to be able to use Firefox to obtain information like this, since it's the browser I always use.

    Don't think it will take a hit right now. It stays on your report for 10 years after you close it. Even though you pay it off, removing the cards will raise your available credit, leading to a higher UTIL %. But UTIL % is overrated. Long as its below 30%, should be fine.
