BT Yahoo page

I keep getting the same message on my BTYahoo home page 'We noticed you may have signed inor out in another window click OK to reload your page' it prevents me from navigating the page I can't clear it. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled it and re-installed it but it keep coming back any ideas?
Phil

There's another thread here: http://community.bt.com/t5/Other-BB-Queries/We-noticed-you-may-have-signed-in-or-signed-out-in-anoth.... Seems that it happens if home page is set as my.yahoo.com, though using yahoo.com is OK. Another Yahoo! problem.
Sorry my bookmark suggestion was a red herring.

• "My Yahoo" page loads up as a blank white page, with no error messages or anything. Any ideas why?

I started a thread on this topic many months ago, and have yet to see any reply for support for this topic. The issue I have had now for over 6 months is that Firefox will not load my "My Yahoo" page at all. I get no error messages or anything, just a blank, white screen when I try to load it. I can load this same page in IE as well as Chrome, but I much prefer to use Firefox if I can. I did follow all of the instructions and ideas that are out on the forum for handling similar problems such as this, but with no success. Clear Cache, History, etc, as well as disabling Add-Ons, restarting, etc, as well as setting proxy settings to No Proxy, etc, etc. Does anyone have ideas ideas as to why Firefox is no longer able to load "My Yahoo" page, but I am able to load things like my Yahoo Mail page successfully? Thank you in advance for any ideas anyone has on this.

Firstly, a heartfelt "Thank You" for the prompt reply. I have gone through the steps you outlined above in the past, with no success, but I did them again just to be certain. One other thing that took place since posted this a few days ago, is that I "Updated Firefox, to 9.0.1 and after I did that, then Firefox would not even load at all. I kept getting a Firefox has crashed pop up, etc. So I figured before I could go through the steps you outlined above, I needed to "Uninstall and Reinstall" Firefox once again. I did this, and loaded the Yahoo Optimized version since apparently the generic version of Firefox, 9.0.1 must have some bugs that did not allow it to load up on my computer. After reloaded Firefox, I proceeded to go through the steps you have outlined above, and as typical, I still have the same problem, even in Safe Mode. My Yahoo comes up as a Blank White Page... no error messages or anything, just a blank white page. Since I have posted this I have been forced to use Google Chrome, and I really hate using that browser, but I don't know what else to do here. Any other ideas please? Thank you once again.
Note: Even as I am typing this Firefox is coming up with a pop up window, suggesting I update to version 9.0.1 since it is a security and stability update. However I won't do this, because the last time I did, Firefox would not load at all.

• IPad- on Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email. When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing. All the folders are emptied. All mail is either read, trash, or deleted.

iPad- on all Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email. When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing. All the folders are emptied. All my mail is either read, trash, or deleted. Also, when I tap on the mail app on iPad home page, gmail is no problem but for yahoo I get error: no password for yahoo. Go to Mail Account Settings and enter password. I'm stuck. Suggestions? Thank you.

Ask and you shell receive.....lol
Go to your Gmail account in the browser.
Hit the folder icon that brings up the folder selection.
Scroll down to the bottom and select desktop version.
The broswer will refresh and bring up your gmail account as though you were looking on it on the computer.
The go to the upper right corner and select settings.
Then go to forwarding and pop/imap
Go look at pop download
There you'll find 3 numbered lines
Go to 1. Status
And select enable pop for all mail
Then save the settings
Once you have done that you can go back to BlackBerry device settings and sync your mail or wait for it to sync it's self.
Let me know how it works out.
I just did it and it sync within minutes.

Do you have any external cleanup software that might be clearing or corrupting the Firefox cache?
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

• ATT Yahoo page opens incorrectly original page instead of custom

I set up the yahoo page the way I wanted it but every time I open the browser up in Safari it reverts back to the original set up.
I have firefox and it is not a problem, it opens the way I set up the page.
In firefox it does not matter weather I am signed in to mail or not.
In Safari it opens with the original page and I have to sign into mail which then opens my custom page.
Can someone tell me how I can get safari to open up with my custom setup page without signing into the mail program like firefox.
Thank You,
Greg Lamont
Greg Lamont

I tried all that and none of it worked BUT I discovered the problem.
I set the custom up when I was logged into my mail account THEREFORE
It the page reverted back to the opening page when I logged back on.
Makes no logical sense to me but I correct the issue so I am happy.
Thanks for taking the time and if it comes up again we now know that Yahoo ATT has two different browser pages.

• Most Yahoo pages are messed up in appearance

Using Firefox 3.63 under Windows 7 all Yahoo pages are messed up and appear wrong; some of the images haven't loaded. I also have a machine using 3.5.4 under Suse 11.2 and this has no problem; the settings on both machines are identiacl as far as I can tell and I've been through all the steps in the troubleshooting section. I haven't come across any sites other than Yahoo with the problem. I use both yahoo.com and yahoo.es (I am in Spain) and they are the same.

http://es.yahoo.com

My site is screwed up again. Everything was good until I deleted a photo from my main page. Now all the test is screwed up. I tried changing all text to Times Romans No good.
Back to Ariel No good. I made a new blank page and copy and pasted all content from my bad page to it. published that page and it looked good except for a link did not show up.
I'm getting fed up with this. Is anyone else having this trouble???? iWeb09 I just updated my OS yesterday. Hmmmmmmmmm Apple???

Use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.

• I am sick of yahoo pages appearing when i even click a web link to get to another page on that site. this is rubbish. i am going to ditch you firefox .

how can i stop these stupid yahoo pages interrupting my browsing i am in NZ and fed up with this.

On Mac, the most common reason to get this is Spigot or Conduit add-ons. You can check for those on the Add-ons page, either:
* Command+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click '''Extensions'''. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any improvement?
Note that such add-ons may have been part of a bundle with something else and may be re-injected into Firefox if the bundle installer is not removed from your system.

• Yahoo pages won't load

After using Safari for 2 months, Yahoo pages suddenly won't load anymore. After a minute or so, the browser displays the message "Safari could not open the page http://www.yahoo.com/ because the server is not responding." However, Internet Explorer has no trouble opening the same Yahoo pages.

Sounds like your firewall software isn't letting Safari access that domain...

• My firefox has been hacked by a yahoo page

I open Firefox. My default page for that is Google. I enter a search item (in this case "fire sprinklers for homes". I click and all of a sudden a Yahoo page full of crap that may or may not have anything to do with what I want pops up. How do I get rid of that so I get a Google page when I start with Google. If I wanted to search with Yahoo, I would have Yahoo as my default. (I had to use Chrome to get this message to you.)

hello, is your default search engine in the firefox settings still set to google?
