BtVision and lack of most recent content.

I took on bt vision only last Wednesday. Quite disappointed for what I am paying a month which is 17.99 I like the fact that you can record programmes and watch them again, but I feel the content is a bit of a waste of time. First thing I wanted to watch which I have missed the entire series of was Being Human's second series. But can only watch the most recent episode. But you can watch the entire series 2 of Being Human online on bbc I player. This is also the same with Skins and many other series's that are on at the moment. The content is obviously fed from the internet to the telly so why can it not be the same? I have told the Bt customer services this, but they don't seem bothered. Even said I would leave. Do I have the right to cancel after the box being delivered? I read it was 10 days? Or am I too late because I had broadband from the weekend before. I think they do this on purpose set your broadband up 7 days before you get btvision and then you are stuck with btvision. Surely by law I have the right to cancel and not pay anything if I am not entirely happy with the service. The picturebox is also a complete waste of time. I'd rather have not bothered and done a a dvd subscription and bought a minimac to connect it up to our tv. Also I think I'd be better with Sky for the fact that there is a wider choice of channels!

The Replay service is not fed from the internet to the telly as you put it otherwise it would be pretty poor quality. It is instead broadcast quality delivered to BT Vision. For example they have the episodes of Corrie in advance and so can upload them almost as soon the live show has been broadcast.
Until Project Canvas comes to fruition I doubt if anyone will offer the iPlayer in its complete form.
BT don't advertise the iPlayer they have a Replay catch up service at £3.
You seem to have overlooked the main purpose of BT Vision which is to provide you with a large and constantly changing library of On Demand programming.
There are no channels on BT Vision only On Demand content from providers.
You should go with Sky that way you won't get a replay service at all.
You will with Freesat of course.
