Buddy's missing on BL---know for fact i'm not blocked
this has happened a few times that i'm aware of---
people haven't been showing up on my Buddy List. they're not invisible, 'cause they show up on AIM with a different SN, and i know they haven't blocked me 'cause they still IM me...how do i fix this?
Check you iChat > Preferences > Accounts > Security and make sure they are in the appropriate list if you are not using Allow All.
Sometime they end up in the Blocked List for some reason and it become Active.
If you are using Allow Specific People then they may need adding to that list.
It is also possible to "Lose" some buddies if they get added to the Recent Buddies Group and you deactivate it in iChat > Preferences > Accounts.
Also go to the iChat View Menu and select Show Off-line Buddies when the Buddy List is the front Window.
Find your Buddy in the list now and do a Get Info on their Name (Apple Key and I together).
Check the spelling of their Name.

I was not asking about an English professor. I was referring to my phone and I do not have the good fortune to live close to an apple store and Att will do nothing for me as they have no clue what to do. I was hoping someone here in what I was told was a nice community and could help with some issues would be able to help. I think that your not very kind person and way to critical of people and must be really unhappy to respond to someone who is just looking for help. Thank you for your concern about my future and life skills however, it is not important to me if you care of not about my future! I just needed help from a person who has had this issue and was able to fix it.
BTW If you must know while your so concerned, I was in an accident and suffered TBI and am lucky to be alive and that all things are coming back much slower then others. You sir were just mean and I am sad that you would take the time out of your day to be so hateful and rude! -
Tried resetting my password trhough itunes and the iforgot.apple.com
I unplugged all the cords from the apple tv for 30 seconds, re-connected and still have the same problem
My network meets all the specs
netflix/hulu isn't showing up on the main menu at all
I'm signed into home sharing on my itunes and my computer is connected to the apple tv through a mini usb cord as well
apple tv won't let me sign into itunes store either
any suggestions on how to fix this??The computer has to be authorized for the account that purcchased the media.
What error message are you getting when you try to lauthorize the computer for that account?

Forefront for Exchange Server is not blocking emails by IP
I have 3 Servers for Exchange: Client, Mailbox, and Edge.
I have Antispam configured on my Edge server with IP Block list enabled but I am getting numerous emails from China's IP block even though I blocked all of the .cn network.
The following is entered in my IP Block list for .cn:
59.56.0.0-59.61.255.255
183.0.0.0-183.63.255.255
I confirmed server is up to date on patches, etc.
Exchange Version on all Servers:
14.03.0174.001
Forefront Version on all Servers:
11.0.713.0
However when looking at Help>About MS Forefront Protection the Exchange Version does not match...

Not sure if this is going to be an issue but wanted to make note of it.no way for checking emails which use a proxy like https page to acces???

I installed the ad blocker that was listed for you tube. But I am still seeing ads.

It could be that YouTube changed how ads are loaded and the developer needs to update the extension. -

Updating Snow Leopard won't help. You need to Upgrade OS X to Lion or higher if your system will support it. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
Lion system requirements are:

I keep getting an error message while trying to setup my imap Gmail and Aol accounts on my new ipad air. The error says user name or password is incorrect but I know for a fact they are correctly entered. How do I correct this?
Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

I am getting this following error
Business Model Core:
[nQSError: 15003] Missing most detailed table for dimension tables: [Dim - Customer,Dim - Account Hierarchy,Dim - Account Region Hierarchy,Fact - Fins - Period Days Count].
[nQSError: 15001] Could not load navigation space for subject area Core.
I got this error when I tried to configure # of Elapsed Days and # of Cumulative Elapsed Days by following way-
1. Using the Administration Tool, open OracleBIAnalyticsApps.rpd.

2. In the Business Model and Mapping layer, go the logical table Fact - Fins - Period
Days Count.
3. Under Sources, select the Fact_W_DAY_D_PSFT logical table source.
4. Clear the Disabled option in the General tab and click OK.
5. Open the other two logical table sources, Fact_W_DAY_D_ORA and Fact_W_
DAY_D_PSFT, and select the Disabled option.
6. Add the "Fact - Fins - Period Days Count" and "Dim - Company" logical tables to
the Business Model Diagram. To do so, right-click the objects and select Business
Model Diagram, Selected Tables Only.
7. In the Business Model Diagram, create a new logical join from "Dim - Company"
to "Fact - Fins - Period Days Count." The direction of the foreign key should be
from the "Dim - Company" logical table to the "Fact - Fins - Period Days Count"
table. For example, on a (0,1):N cardinality join, "Dim - Company" will be on the
(0/1) side and "Fact - Fins - Period Days Count" will be on the N side.
8. Under the Fact - Fins - Period Days Count logical table, open the "# of Elapsed
Days" and "# of Cumulative Elapsed Days" metrics, one at a time.
9. Go to the Levels tab. For the Company dimension, the Logical Level is set to All.
Click the X button to remove it. Repeat until the Company dimension does not
have a Logical Level setting.
10. Make sure to check Global Consistency to ensure there are no errors, and then
save the RPD file.
