Budget custom report in ECC 6 Upgrade

my company has just upgraded to ecc 6 on monday.
i have ran a budget report (Custom) and the actual amounts column is not being updated, everything else is.
can anyone help me please.

Custom Reports Server Issue (upgrading 10g to Weblogic 11g)

I am having an issue with "Anonymous' user showing up when I go into the console of the Weblogic server to see all the report requests. In 10g (which we are upgrading from), I have report requests that I do a Preview from within Oracle Forms. When I do the RUN_REPORT_OBJECT/SHOW.WEB_DOCUMENT, it captures the User account and put it in the console with that username. On 11.1.1.4, using same form/report, it doesn't capture the username. If I call the reports server from the database, it does work fine.
Anyone have any ideas if there's something I have to do in Oracle Forms to put that username in or if it's a setting on the Custom Reports Server that i need to set so that it captures the name from the Oracle Forms session.

Now we are using hyperion 11.1.1.3 with ODI 10.1.3. We are upgrading hyperion version 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2.2.
Is it possible, to use the same ODI 10.1.3 version to upgrade version(hyperion 11.1.2.2) also?

GL Custom Reports not displaying source and line item Data after Upgrade

Hi,
I am having this issue even though General Ledger Journal Entry Summarization is set to "No Summarization" and in SLA the Line Type is set in detail for Transfer to GL. Have you come accross a specfic example like this? Can you please guide me to what the problem may be?
None of the GL reports is showing the Source and Line Item details.

Did you set the application context properly?

Custom Reports Snapshots Disappeared when upgrading from 2011 to 2013

Hi all,
We are in the process of upgrading our CRM 2011 instance to CRM 2013. Both instances are on premises and use separate servers (SQL, front-end,etc...). This is how we went about it:
- installed CRM 2013 on a new server using a different SQL server than the one used by the CRM 2011 installation.
- took a backup copy of the CRM 2011 database and restored it on the CRM 2013 server
- imported the CRM 2011 organisation on the CRM 2013 installation using the deployment wizard
- the import went without any errors
Now for the issue we are experiencing:
- in the CRM 2011 we have several custom reports snapshots which were then used for subscriptions via SRS
- the custom reports have been imported OK into the 2013 deployment when we imported the organisation
- the custom reports snapshots have not been imported into SRS although they are listed in the CRM user interface under the reports section. When trying to run the reports from the CRM user interface an error message is displayed that the requested does
not exist (as expected as the file does not exist on SRS)
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I can reproduce it as you describing. Based on my understanding, the task pane is drawed by Word applicaiton, the Word applicaiton need to make task pane fit the current version of Office.

PKUNRE field not getting populated in 2LIS_13_VDITM after ECC upgrade

Hi,
We are seeing blank values for PKUNRE / 0BILLTOPARTY during extraction from 2LIS_13_VDITM.
We are experiencing this issue after ECC upgrade which went live recently.
We have applied note 580694 to correct missing fields in the billing extractor.
This field is sourced from VBPA/VBRP.
Our functional teams confirmed that VBPA/VBRP are updated properly and there seems to be no timing issue.
However, the record is landing in PSA with blank BILLTOPARTY.
Where could the problem be?
Is there any thing we missed?
Can any one throw some light if you have experienced this kind of an issue after upgrade.

In my system I didn't find the Field PKUNRE on the VBPA / VBRP Tables, so my guess is that you're dealing with a Custom Enhancement, if this is the case the SAP Note 576886 - "Change to user-defined fields not extracted" might help you in solving this issue.

I double checked and found the Field PKUNRE on the Extract Structure for 2LIS_13_VDITM (using Transaction Code LBWE) so now I know that you're working with a Standard field and not with a custom ehnancement, the SAP Notes below address a similar issue to yours but they are related to Applications 11 and 12, not for App 13. I apologize for the confusion.

ABAP Custom Report (ALV Format) in Background Processing

I am not the hardcore ABAP Person. But want to know about the detail fact of the ABAP Custome Reports. The question is can we do the background processing for the ABAP Custome Report in ALV Format.
If Yes ..do we require to have any additional Function/code to get the spool in ALV Format. I saw the comments that the output will look like the mess.
Please share your comment or any useful documenation on this. We are in ECC 6.0

You can use alv's in background using docking containers, but the display wont be interactive. If you search the forum you will see tons of threads which talk about running ALV's in background.
For the output to be interactive, you can run the report in foreground and do the data processing in background.

Problem with custom Reports and forms in R12

Hi All,
we are upgrading from 1103 to R12. In R12 we are facing a peculiar problem with Reports. All seeded reports are running perfectly. But no data is coming while running the custom reports. The operating unit field in the SRS window is getting populated automatically while running the seeded reports but getting greyed off while running custom reports.
We are facing the same problem with forms even, data is not getting retrieved in custom forms. Can any one suggest wether there is any profile option which is being missed out by us. ..

We are in middle of upgrade. We are in testing the upgrade.
We have upgraded DB (9i to 10.2.0.4), techstack, jdevelopper patchset19, java and jre.
We now have a custom report that finishes with

Parts of this log file may not display correctly
as a result. This is an expected behavior.

The essentials for creating a hierarchy report are as follows:
· Create a form T code CJE5 (Report Painter)
You use a form to stipulate the contents and structure of the detail list in a report. Among other things, you define the value types to be displayed in a report, for example, the plan, actual, and/or budget values.
· Create a report
You define the drilldown list of a specific report when you create it. In the process, you stipulate the attributes used to evaluate the data in a report.
There is a logical database maintained in syste, for PS it is PSJ. You can view the same in T code SE36. The data for reporting is extracted from this database.

Unable to delete a custom report in Fabric Manager

If I create a Custom Report in Fabric Manager (3.2(3a)) I'm unable to Delete it aftwards :-(

I haven't heard of this issue before. Have you tried running FM on another host or upgrading FM to see if it goes away?

Changes to Payroll Recon report in ECC 6.0

The payroll recon report delivered with ECC 6.0 is very different from the one in 4.6C and we need the same report as 4.6C.
SAP claims in release notes this is supported but we cannot make it work.
Has anyone worked through this?

You're right. The Recon report is very different in ECC 6.0. It is in ALV format, though, which is pretty user friendly. My users were able to sort and subtotal in such a way to get the information they needed. I would suggest just playing around with the capabilities of the ALV output to see if you can make it work.
We discussed reverting back to the old Recon report during the upgrade, but decided not to because it would get hit every time we applied support packs.
