Bug: 9780 blue color selection cursor missing

I am having the blue color selection cursor missing when I do the following:
At home screen, click blackberry button to open tray, but blue color cursor not shown and I cannot select application. I need to close tray and try few times.
At home screen, scroll to the top to open network panel for changing 2G or 3G. But the blue cursor not shown and I need to close it and reopen few times.

Hejdo,
Have you tried to repair permissions, and check/repair disk? Looks like some Finder plist file getting corrupted after a little use of your computer. Also, you could try and create a new user account, and log in onto this new account, to check if your problems exist on this new account too. If not, then something is going awry on your own (admin?) account; if not, well, then your issue is system-wide.

    Hello,
    In WA, color selection dialog does not work (11.1.1.2 and 11.1.1.3 versions). Steps to reproduce bug:
    1) Open and login to WebAnalysis
    2) Select File -> Preferences
    3) Select "SpreadSheet"
    4) Click Background color (or any other color selection button)
    5) An empty window will be opened. In Java console, there will be message: "*[ERROR] HYAColorChooserDlgPanel - -Invalid mnemonic index: 8*"
    Is there any workarounds on this? I did not found any metalink notes about this bug.

  • Blue color for selected text

    Hello, is any way to change blue color for selected text which is the same as for invisible characters? When I select text all unvisible characters are realy unvisible... In old ID selected text was black and invisible characters inside was orange. Many thx for help... Ilja

    For sure I tried to use "select text" in Illustrator CC on the same system (windows 7) and selected text is black too...
    Many thx for help
    Ilja
    PS
    I must agree with the post about very slowly ID CC. I tried the same indd files in CS6 and CC and CC is slowly in large documents (500 pages and more), for ex. find/replace, but when document is near its end (aprox 80-100 pages) ID CC is much faster than at the start of document. Now I am working on large doc (540 pages) with many headers (aprox 3-4 on each page) and when I want change space for non-breaking space on pages between 1-100, this takes sometimes more than 2 seconds!!! Only simple space change - no styl change etc.
    I think that I am using fast PC (Intel i7, 16GB RAM, SSD disks - cache is on separated mSATA 30GB SSD), all doc are located inside PC, no external drives for normal day work) and I never seen these lags on CS6. Doesn't matter if I using ID CC 32 od 64 bit - it is aprox the same.

  • Bug:  Holding slider in Photoshop CS3 color selection dialog causes issues under Windows 7

    I was using the color selection dialog this morning and discovered that clicking and holding the vertical slider or the little arrows for about three or four seconds causes Windows 7 to declare Photoshop CS3 as being unresponsive.  The whole Photoshop UI starts freaking out at that point:  The color selection dialog "vanishes" and black bars start appearing all across the application.  Minimizing and then showing the application restores it to its previous state.

    You're welcome.  Glad to hear the driver update corrected the issue for you.

    I just got it, having previously used a 4670.  The 5670 is not hugely fast in the benchmarks, probably not much faster than yours, but it animates everything in Photoshop perfectly smoothly (Photoshop is far less demanding than most games).  I am most fond of the fact that the 5670 draws so little power it doesn't need an extra power connection over and above what it gets from the PCIe buss, and so it runs cool and quiet.

  • Help with color selection bug?

    Whenever I go to the color selection menu and select a color, it shows the color and I can select various colors. Then I go back to the canvas, and it turns gray, and only shows gray in the little "current color box." I'm wondering if I may have accidentally changed something, or if it's just not cooperating. It seems to only be on select canvases though, because I opened a different project and the colors worked fine. Someone, please help!

    Check the color mode of your document under Image>Mode. You want RGB Color.
    Also make sure you don't have a layer mask active.

  • Firmware 1.5 - THANK YOU APPLE ! No more flickering blue colors in Windows

    Hey,
    the new firmware 1.5 FIXED the issue of the flickering blue colors in Boot Camp using Windows (problem with MPB and ATI Radeon X1600) !
    Everything works, even wake up from sleep under WinXP!
    Tkx to Apple sw engineers!
    Chris

    Well ... I still have a problem previously posted that has not yet been resolved. I would appreciate any suggestions on courses of action:
    I own an ATI-based MBP 17" and every day I was getting this software update app pop-up telling me that there is a "MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.4" to install. So, like a good Apple customer, I tried ... following instructions to the letter. It would download and appear to install, then get to the point of wanting me to shutdown:
    +"1. Quit all other open applications.+
    +2. Click Shut Down in the MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update window and wait for your computer to shut down.+
    +3. Press and hold the power button on your MacBook Pro until the sleep indicator light flashes repeatedly or you hear a long tone, then release the power button.+
    +A status bar indicates the progress of the update+
    +Important: Do not interrupt the update.+
    +Your computer restarts automatically when the update is completed and opens the MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update.+
    +4. Click OK, if the firmware is now up-to-date.+
    +If these instructions appear on your screen again, the firmware update was not successful. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4."+
    Before 1.5 was released, I'd click shutdown and get this error every single time: "An unexpected error occurred (0). Your firmware cannot be updated. See www.apple.com/support for more information."
    So ... I did visit "www.apple.com/support". The first thing I did was search for any information on the specific error I was receiving. I found article 303364 via the EFI Firmware update 1.4 link on the troubleshooting section of the support site. This told me Intel-based Mac hard disks must be formatted with the GUID partition scheme to apply firmware updates. My scheme was the GUID partition.
    No help here, so before making an excuse to head in to the local Genius Bar, I asked a friend who's been a Mac geek longer than I about it. He said that MAYBE the issue would resolve if I flashed the EFI firmware with previous updates first, then 1.4 would take. Dubious, I decided to investigate further and come here to the forums. I'm very glad I did.
    I read that 1.4 had corrupted some video adaptors, I became dubious about the entire need to flash to 1.4 and sought some guidance here on how to proceed. The general consensus was to wait until EFI update 1.5 was released.
    So ... now 1.5 is out and I got the daily software update notification that both 1.4 and 1.5 were available. Hoping the issue that was preventing me from updating the firmware to 1.4 had been resolved, I did not select 1.4 ... opting instead to update to 1.5. I went through the exact same process as advised above for 1.4 but got a brand new error:
    "An unexpected error occurred (28:3). Your firmware can not be updated."
    It wouldn't bug me a bit NOT upgrading my firmware if the damned software updater would stop reminding me every day to upgrade ... again ... when I can't. So ... what next? Genious Bar? Apple support? I have no doubt 1.5 fixes display corruption, but if I can't install it, what am I to do?
    Cheers!
    Kevin

  • Blue color when photos brought in catalog

    I am using PSE 6 - shot a series of daylight photos in Raw.  (Have a Canon G9 - Lexar Prof. SDHC card).  The colors look fine in the camera and also when displayed in the Photo Downloader.  However, when they were brought into the catalog about 10 of 45 came out extremely blue.  They are showing up at a temperature of 2850 while the correct ones (often a virtually identical shot) are 7500.  None of the camera settings were changed - all were shot in P mode and raw.  I deleted them from the catalog/hard drive and downloaded again - same thing.  Does anyone know what might have caused this?  I just took another 8 photos (again outside in daylight) and they are OK.  Am heading overseas soon and  I am concerned that something may be wrong with the camera.  Thanks for any suggestions.

    The only thing I'm missing here is why the color temperature measurements are "backwards".
    Light with a color temperature of 2850 Deg K is much, much "warmer", (read way redder), than light with a color temperature of 7500 Deg K, which is quite blue. Noon daylight is considered to be 5500 Deg K. A clear blue northern sky has a color temp of in excess of 10,000 Deg Kelvin.
    The old tungsten photoflood bulbs had a color temp of 3200 deg K, and if they were used with daylight balanced film, the results would be extremely RED.
    The reverse is true with using tungsten balanced film in daylight, pictures would come out almost totally blue.
    The film's color balance was a constant, not so with the auto white balance of a modern digital camera. or (?)
    So, if the white balance of the  >>camera<< was 2850 Deg K when the photos were taken in daylight, then that would explain the blue color...! Or that;s at least one plausible explanation.

  • Select cursor reference XY Graph

    Question... I have a XY graph.
    This graph has 3 cursors. Now I want to be able to select cursor 1, 2 or 3. And then edit some property nodes, like line style, width, color.
    How do I do this? Because I can only get 1 cursor reference... that of the active cursor.

    I just ran into the same problem - I'm glad I found this solution.
    Having said that, it's a rather unintuitive way to handle multiple cursor references. This should be improved in a future update.

  • Mixed Signal Graph, Selected Cursors, and Cursor Position Problems

    I'm trying to work around an issue with a single multiplot cursor on a mixed-signal graph (doesn't work right, R&D bug report #100830) by grabbing the selected cursor x-position and updating that position across all four cursors, as seen below:
    However, I'm having two problems.
    One, the selected cursor is not always the actual selected cursor.  Quite often, especially when selecting and dragging cursors 3 & 4 (indexed 2 & 3), the selected cursor shows up as 0 or 1.
    Two, and the one I'm more concerned about, is the fact that the four cursors X-positions never completely line up.  In every case, whichever cursor is deemed to be "selected", the other three will align to some point (the same for all three) that is offset from the actual value.  Please note that the X-values in my demonstration are identical (1000 points from 0.001 to 1) so I don't see this as being some snap issue where the value is offsetting to the closest available on the other arrays.
    I've attached my scratchpad demo.vi as an illustration.
    Any help or insight is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike Webster

    I believe I found where the issue resides at least and a workaround.  This is a problem with XY graphs in general when trying to programmatically control the cursor position.  Somehow, the software goes looking for the nearest point instead of the identical point and has some sort of issue with its search algorithm.  Switching from attempting to match position to copying the cursor 'index' completely cleared up the problem I was having.  In the particular application I'm working on, the four graphs have identically spaced data on the X-axis, so this solution should work fine for me.

  • Strange blue color

    Hello
    shooting many events, I frequently have problems rendering strong blue colour. The blue comes from these new LED lights. In Aperture it gets magenta and is seperated from the natural looking surrounding by a unnaturally looking harsh border. I tried DxO 8 and capture One Pro 7. These don't show this error. Here is a screenshot of sample image rendered in 4 RAW Processors, including Adobe Camera RAW 3.4.3. Adobe Camera RAW has the problem too, but not so intense.
    Any idea how to avoid this? I didn't find a solution. Clicking o the image enlarges it.

    Hello Léonie
    thanks for your great help here! I appreciate any hint and your help is always detailed and well-considered. Yes I know these camera settings. Only the embedded Preview JPEG inside the RAW or any written fullsize JPEG is affected, but not the RAW itself. A change of this setting doesn't help. I don't use those settings at all, never changed them from standard neutral, because I don't use camera JPEGs at all.
    Aperture isn't able to see these high-saturated blue color in a natural way. These blues are totally off and there is no way to get them in the direction of the JPEG colors. With other programs the LED-blue looks nearly the same as in the camera JPEG, but not in Aperture. Now I tried to render the above image with the two LED-flood-lights with Capture One, DxO and Aperture. Here is the absolutly annoying result. I tried to solve it with the exposure slider, but then the blue became a strange magenta... Other controls don't help too. I think it is a problem of a too small working colour space inside Aperture and the way of rendering the extreme colors to get them inside this working space. Or it is a hopefully solvable bug. If you like I can send you the NEF and the JPEG to see it by yourself.
    Thanks
    Wolfram
    Has anybody else this problem? And perhaps knows a solution?

  • Is the gradient color selection workflow fixed in CS6?

    http://www.bittbox.com/illustrator/illustrator-quick-tip-faster-gradient-color-adjustments
    Double clicking the color in the toolbox panel to bring up the color picker, resets the angle of the gradient. The only way to use the color picker for a gradient color is to preselect it and place it in the color swatch. This is a blatantly incorrect implementation of a common workflow. Has this been fixed in CS6?

    Okay.....
    The color panel is essentially useless. Adjusting color based on RGB values is incredibly difficult/retarded.
    Possibly, of course there's a color ramp at the bottom of the Panel as well.
    The number of colors available for a particular hue are very limited. There is no reasonable way to change the saturation of a color.
    Really? Again show me a single color you can not achieve via the color panel which the color picker can.
    As for saturation... I guess setting the panel to HSB (Hue/Saturation/Brightness) wouldn't qualify?
    Because of it, there is essentially no way to select from a wide range of colors and be able to live preview the color for a gradient, a standard way of doing things in Photoshop and every other graphics software.
    Hmmm... again... the color ramp means nothing? You can't move sliders? You've not tried Live Color/Recolor Artwork at all???
    Why not just outright state that you aren't comfortable with Illustrator and want it to conform to things you are comfortable with rather than learning to use Illustrator.
    The entire "every other graphics software" section is completely incorrect. Painter doesn't use the color picker the same way any Adobe app does. In fact, once you venture away from Adobe you find many graphics apps approach color selection in many different ways. And even within Adobe software.. explain Fireworks color selection....  Indesign color selection... After Effects color selection.... Even merely looking at Adobe products alone your statement falls apart. You just want it to "be like Photoshop."
    Look, I totally "get" that some people prefer the way Photoshop works. And I understand that they may want everything to operate exactly like Photoshop does if for no other reason so they can seamlessly move from app to app with as little a learning curve as possible. The reality is, Illustrator is NOT Photoshop. You can complain until you are blue in the face, that's not going to change the app. Adapt or fail.

  • Using select cursor(select...) from ...

    I am trying to use the following construction in the report region:
    select
    cursor(select * from employees) as "EMPs",
    cursor(select * from departments) as "DEPTs"
    from dual
    It is failing with the following error:
    report error:
    ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got CURSER
    Just wondering if I just cannot use such a construction, or it's a bug....

    OK,
    My real query is much more complex then the one I specified above. I was just interested in using that specific syntaxis, as I use it a lot in my XSQL pages, and it works perfectly.
    For a sake of an argument, lets say I want to see all the departments' attributes, alltogether with a list of all employees working for that specific department. Of course, I could have used an outer join to achieve this, but I want to use the following:
    SELECT d.department_id,
           d.department_name,
           d.location_id,
           CURSOR(SELECT e.first_name,
                         e.last_name
                  FROM   employees e
                  WHERE  e.department_id = d.department_id
           ) emps
    FROM   depatments dWhen I use similar syntaxis in my XSQL pages, it returns a pretty xml document like the following:
    <ROW_SET>
      <ROW id="1">
        <department_id>1</department_id>
        <department_name>Accounting</department_name>
        <location_id>12</location_id>
        <ROW_SET_EMPS>
          <ROW id="1">
            <first_name>John</first_name>
            <last_name>Smith</last_name>
          </ROW>
          <ROW id="2">
            <first_name>Smith</first_name>
            <last_name>Johnson</last_name>
          </ROW>
        </ROW_SET_EMPS>
      </ROW>
    </ROW_SET>Then I just apply an XSLT over the returned XML, and I get a pretty HTML page displayed in the browser window...
    I am specifically interested in this syntaxis, because I have A LOT of XSQL pages published to my intranet users, and I would like to just take those queries and publish them as reports in HTMLDB, since HTMLDB provides me with the session management, authentication, etc., etc., capabilities.
    Thank you for all your replies.

  • MacSafari Blue color outline appears to be leaking from the focused button

    In Mac Safari, by default focused field gets a blue glowing outline. I have an issue with this outline feature. My application contains pages with number of frames in it. Content of the page will be in one frame and buttons are placed on the another frame.
    Buttons in the frame will be used for all the pages and will be enabled or disabled based on the content in another frame.
    When i traverse to different pages the blue color outline gets intensified for the focus field and gets displayed even the button is hidden for certain pages. This blue color outline disappears when i try to referesh or do something which repaints the screen. Hence the stand alone blue color glowing borders get displayed in some of the pages even the button is hidden.
    I tried different ways to get rid of the blue color outline. If I apply Outline: none property thru CssClass then i can get rid of this issue but the user will not come to know which button is focus if i remove this outline propery.
    If anybody have this blue color outline issue for the hidden fields kindly share your thoughts with me.
    It would be very helpful for me if somebody can shed some light on this issue.
