[BUG] af:inputDate's year selection spinner increment
Hello,
There's a but with inputDate where the year won't stop increasing after using the spinner. It happens if you keep the mouse down on the button, move out of its bounds, release the button and then move back over it. It might requires more than one attempt to reproduce, but it's not hard. We used to have a similar problem with Trinidad's spinner, it's most likely a setInterval that doesn't get canceled.

wow, that is not easy to reproduce, but once it does, the effect is really interesting to watch. Looks like a mouse over feature.

1. Program will check at the year selection, that should not be more than 3 years, otherwise, the program will raise the error message of u2018Only allow 3 years difference!u2019.

year = year - 3. equal to 2005
if p_year < year.
give some error message

IOS 8 - Photos app bug - "stuttering" effect on Year view
Hi Folks,
On the iPhone6 Plus 128GB with iOS8.1.3 (with 15000 photos inside several years go), I notice that when using the Photos native app in the “Year view” (yearly mosaic view), if I scroll up or down slightly fast, the scrolling that you get has a little “stuttering” or “jerking” effect, so the UI is not perfectly smooth in this view inside Photos native app.
Have you noticed it in your own iPhone's with iOS8.1.3. and also having a huge size photo callery as I have (>10000 photos spread in several years)? (I think that is it very important, because if you have not a huge photo gallery, probably you will not see the “stuttering” or “jerking” effect that I am describing).
I think this is a bug which impacts iOS User eXperience, which needs to be fixed.

Possible bug ? - Default value for select list

Hi, I have one page with a couple of reports. I have a time period filter on top. Its a select list with values 7 days, 3 months and 12 months. Default value is set to 3 (where return values of select list is 1,2,3 resp).
Now in page 1 which has this select list, :P1_SELECT it has a report which shows counts of number of items purchased. When the user clicks on the count(hyperlinked column), it takes the user to another page which runs the details of the items and also uses the Page 1 select. It works fine when I change the time period. However, if I dont change the time period in the select list when I first login, althought I have set the default value to 3, the interactive report on page shows no data found, because the select list default value I guess it does not recognize.
Is this a bug?

Default values is only populated on the clien side and NOT in the session.

BUG: Debug Unit tests in Selected
I think I've found a bug in JDeveloper.
Using "Debug Unit Tests in Selected" does not all unit tests in the selected projects.
To reproduce:
-select a list of projects,
-right click and select "Debug Unit Tests in Selected".
Results:
-JDev will run all the unit tests in the last project selected but no others.
What it should do:
-JDev should run all unit tests in all selected projects

9.4.5 BUG. Can't Multi-select Pages anymore!!!!
Confirmed on all 4 Adobe Acrobat 9.4.5 users at my org since the update yesterday.
Before, if you held the CTRL Key, you could select multiple pages in the Pages Pane to Delete/Extract/Ect.
THIS NO LONGER WORKS! And we use that functionality A LOT.
What is the best way to get this info to the powers that be?
-SamI am not going to spend one more red cent on Acrobat and reward Adobe for their lack of effective testing. As a long time Acrobat user and a former tester of software, it seems they do not do a good enough job regression testing their fixes to see if what they fix does not affect other parts of their product. I wonder how many other bugs are waiting for me if I upgrade to Acrobat X.
I really wonder if Adobe knows that there are a few good alternatives to Acrobat out there. And I do not want to discuss which ones are best.

Bug or Feature? Eject selected dmg closes Finder window
In Leopard (on my machine at least), if you
1. mount a dmg,
2. select this dmg in the sidebar of a previously opened Finder window (not the new one that pops up with the mount), and then
3. click the eject icon,
the host Finder window will close as the dmg unmounts. Is this a bug, or a feature?
In Tiger, if you do this the window remains open, and your mounted devices will be shown in the second column. While this could be mildly confusing (the devices show up twice in the left-right hierarchy), at least you are left with a Finder window and a chance for further navigation.
If this is a feature in Leopard, I think it's a questionable call: there you are with a single Finder window open, then poof, you've got nothing and it looks like the window's been lost due to a crash. Perhaps you could argue that since you selected the dmg, ejecting it could only mean you want to close the host window, since your selection will be gone and what the window should show is undefined. Actually, nah, this doesn't make sense to me for an advanced interface.
Of course, maybe this is just something afflicting me...Don't know whether to classify it as a bug or a feature. The old behavior was sorta illogical, the new behavior is logical, but silly. Anyway, if the thing being ejected (dmg or drive or whatever) is selected so that the Finder window is displaying its contents, and you eject it then window closes. If something else is selected and you eject whatever by clicking just the eject button next to it (but don't select it), the window doesn't close because the object ejected wasn't the window being displayed. Logical. New. Annoying.

We would like to implement New GL with IFRS compliances . Please clarify on following doubts:
1 . Whether Leading Ledger would be for IFRS or Indian GAAP ?
What are the Pros and Cons of each selection ?
2. What exactly differences with Leading Ledger Vs Non Leading Ledger
3. Is it mandatory to follow Calender Year ( Jan to Dec) for IFRS compliance.

SujanaRegarding your first questions, as india is moving towards complying completely with the IFRS, it would be better to have your leading ledger in IFRS and then the non-leading ledger in Indian GAAP. This way you will not have re-work. However, once you have activated a way of principle for one ledger, it is difficult to re-do and go to another ledger.
Therefore, caution and a lot of discussion with your client and their auditors is required about the timelines on compliance with IFRS
On your second question:
As SAP says leading ledger should be based upon main reporting GAAP. non-leading ledger will be based upon additional reoprting requriements. For example if the company is EU based and it has operations in US and China then it should have leading ledger with IFRS. Non-leading ledgers with USGAAP and China GAAP.
Regarding your third questions :
IFRS does not put any restriction on usage of year. financial year is local legal requirement and rule of the land. -
I would like to make a select box that has the last 50 years in it. I want it to change with each year instead of me going in and changing it in the code. Would I do this with an array? I think there is an easy way to do this but I can not figure it out.

CAUTION-MAJOR BUG Address Book's "Merge Selected Cards" DELETES CONTENT!
I have just realized (after losing much data) that when using the Merge Selected Cards function within the Apple Address Book that it will, without notification, delete content! That's right, if the two cards share different data but have the same field labels, Address Book will merge the two and simply keep the content in the 1st record (deleting the content in the 2nd).
For example... Two records (same contact), one record with a home-email and home-number and one with a work-email and work-number. However since both happen to have default field labels of "email" and "number" when you select "Merge..." you don't end up with two emails/numbers in the merged contact you actually only have the content from the 1st record.
Essentially "Merge Selected Records" = "Delete 2nd Record"
This is a major error. The feature should be removed asap until it is corrected!!This bug still affects the Address Book v5.0.3 which is updated with the Mac OS X 10.6.5 update which has just been released.
Apple have been notified of this bug as far back as November 2009.
There are at least 3 separate RADAR bug reports about this issue.
There have been 3 Mac OS Snow Leopard updates since the bug was reported to them. The bug has not been fixed in any of these updates.
The bug does not affect Address Book v5.0

It does affect Address Book v5.0.3
Apple were notified in November 2009 after Address Book v5.0.1 was released that this problem existed. We also told Apple customer support. We told the Apple Store Regent Street Geniuses. We emailed Apple Developer Bug Reporting and were initial told they were aware of it, then we received no more replies.
The original thread in the forums detailing this issue is now archived even though the bug remains. So we cannot reply and update that thread.
We suggest you try and make as many people at Apple aware of this issue as we think it is very poor that they are aware of a serious data loss bug for 12 months and havent rectified it in many software and Address Book app updates.

Bug: Hidden Paths Disrupting Layer Selection
I'm experiencing a possible bug when attempting to Command+Click a layer in my document to turn it into the active layer. I've included a short video to help better demonstrate the issue.
If multiple shape layers are present, including a layer with a 'subtraction path', the hidden paths of the layer that's been subtracted from effects auto-selection. If the hidden paths overlap another nearby layer, Command+clicking on the nearby layer actually selects the shape with the hidden paths.
The expected behavior should be that the hidden paths are ignored, allowing the user to select the layer underneath, like it was in CS5.
This is very difficult to explain in text, so please watch the attached video.Brett. You are correct. If I move the layer with the hidden paths lower in the Layers Panel, I am able to select the text layer. Should this be the behavior though? I can definitely see cases where this would be frustrating. Paths which are used for subtraction purposes should be invalid, in my opinion.

Display Column only when Current Year Selected

1)I have a Req where in I need to Display a Column only when 2012 is selected,It shouldn't appear when i select 2010 & 2011 in the Prompt.
2)I have to display a column only when the Last month of the Quarter is selected.

Make it two reports, one with the column and the other report without the column. Place both the reports in two different dashboard sections and use conditional show/hide section as explained here,

In this case we need to calculate correct no of days for feb

You need to iterate based on something like the month, quarter, year... Then query on that. I'll use a "WITH" clause to illustrate:

Calendar bug - half-year view glitch - Z10 10.2.1
BB10 calendar app's half-year view display has a bug that seems pretty disturbing because it is so basic:
1) Open calendar to month view (this is my default)
2) Swipe the content pane down to reveal the half-year view
3) Tap the current month - this dismisses the half-year view and takes you to the month view
4) Swipe the content pane down again to reveal the half-year view, then swipe right to view the prior half-year, then swipe left to get back to the current half-year.
The dates shown for the current month in the half-year view will be shifted.
I noticed this bug in April 2014. The 1st of the month fell on a Tuesday. But after doing the above described swipe sequence, the dates shown for just April, in the half-year view, are shifted forward, so that it incorrectly shows April 1 as falling on a Wednesday. As I'm reporting this on April 30, it's unlikely to get reviewed by someone at BlackBerry in April, and I didn't try re-setting my device date to different months to see if the bug manifests for months other than April. So, if a BlackBerry reviewer is going over this bug report later this year and cannot get the bug to manifest, they should re-set their device date to some date in April 2014. However, as they investigate the bug, they should probably try to get it to manifest in other months, and maybe also in a leap year.
Note that if you do two right swipes in the half-year view, to go back to the prior year, then do two left swipes to again get back to the current year, the dates for the current month then line up correctly.
A bug like this really makes me lose trust in my calendar (a calendar is not a new research problem in software development, so if this is broken, what else is broken?)
Device/OS details:

OS Version: 10.2.1.2228Confirmed that the same bad behavior is there now that the calendar has rolled forward to May.
Like I said this raises the question of what else is broken in the basic functionality of an essential app.
BlackBerry folks reading this - hope to you see you reproduce the bug, and acknowledge ingestion of a bug report into your internal bug tracking system, for priority fix on next OS release.
Others reading this, if you reproduce the bug (should be easy) - please add comments as you see fit, to get BlackBerry's attention on this one. -
Change month of a report by selecting the Year in the EPM context bar

I am very new on BPC 10 and actually I am trying to make some report.
I just try to make a simple thing : display all the month of a year choose by a user (without using the "Editor Report")
I made a simple report using EPMOlapMember, but when I try to change the year in the EPM context bar in the "Time" dimension, the month displayed does not correspond to the year context and even if I refresh my report.
What I would like to do is to allow users to select the year or the month+year in the EPM context bar or by an other way and that the report refresh.
The finality of this report is to compare the operating cost of a month with the year before, in actual or budget, in periodic or YTD, to calculate variance.
Below is the structure I would like to have on a single worksheet:
Scénario : A user choose the month (generally of the month of the current year)
FIRST (periodic) : Display all the month of the month/year (selected by the user)
SECOND (periodic) : 1st column : Display the month/year (selected by the user) in actual
2nd column : Display the month/year (selected by the user) in budget
3rd column : Display the month/year-1 (selected by the user) in actual
4&5th column : Just simple for the delta
THIRD (year to date) : 1st column : Display the month/year (selected by the user) in actual
2nd column : Display the month/year (selected by the user) in budget
3rd column : Display the month/year-1 (selected by the user) in actual
4&5th column : Just simple for the delta
