BUG- Alt clicking adjustment layer icons Not giving the opportunity to name the layer in CS6 Beta?

Using Windows 7 Ult, 64-bit:
I notice when I alt-click an adjustment layer icon, the layer automatically drops in with a default name--rather than giving me an opportunity to type a name for the A/L via the "new layer" dialog box. For example, in CS5, when you alt-click on the hue/saturation ajustment layer icon, you are given a dialog box in which you can name the layer, select clipping mask, blend mode, color select, etc--then the layer populates in the composition. In CS6 beta, when I hold the "alt" key and click the adjustment layer icon for hue/sat, I'm not getting the new layer dialog box at all. Is this a bug or a modifier key change in CS6?

It should still work from the layers panel. You have to hold the alt key before going to the adjustments menu at the bottom of the layers panel.
It doesn't seem to work from the adjustments panel unless you use the flyout menu and then you don't have to add the alt key to get the dialog.

We need not record OPEN event when it is triggered from a KeyBoard event that types a character. Replaying the type event would automatically open the drop down.

App.activeDocument.name not giving the new name entered in save as option from the script

When I open a document and use save as option and enter a new name. The app.activeDocument.name object is still giving me the old file name, it not giving the new file name that was entered in the save as option. However this issue is comming when I open a document and use the save as option for the first time. From then on for any number of times I use the save as option it gives me the new name.

In my case I am calling the script from my AI plugin(this is developed in c++) . My plugin will be called when ever there is a event, suppose I do ctrl+shift+s ( i,e File > Save as from Illustrator) , then my plugin will call the script.

Reboot, as soon as you hear the chime press and hold the option key, when the Boot Manager appears select OSX.

Alt + click on layer mask not working/enabled

Im wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and managed to solve the issue!
Basically, when I go to view the layer mask by holding alt and clicking on the layer mask it doesn't function. Along with this problem, when I go to toggle my adjustment layers on and off, by holding alt and clicking on the eye symbol next to the background layer... again this doesn't work.
Im not sure if I have accidently clicked on something that has disabled these functions or its just a bug.
Please, can anyone help with this?

Yeah I tried both Alt keys, that wasn't the problem. I could use both Alt keys to do shortcuts and they worked, just didn't work when it came to toggling off and on the adjustment layers and also viewing my mask, when Alt clicking on it.
I even tried opening the file in an older version of photoshop and still had the same problem.
I was about to re-install the program or reset it back to its default settings... then decided to do a selection of the image, cut it out and pasted it into a new document and then dragged my adjusment layers over to the new file. Hey presto! the functions worked.
Think it was just a case of the image or file in general becoming corrupt or just having some sort of bug.

Apps wanting to access my location when not in use (and not giving the option to turn it off)

For most apps, I can choose to share my location 1) not at all; 2) when the app is in use (my favourite); 3) always (even when not in use).
Why do some apps not offer the second option?
For instance, I want to use an app that locates the nearest automatic external defibrillator (if someone has a cardiac arrest) but I can only use the app when I allow the app to access my location all the time. Given the fact that I will use this app perhaps only once every 15 years, I see no point in giving them my location for the next 15 years! That's just a waste of battery power and also a breach of my privacy.
Second example: Apple's own weather app. I check the weather maybe once every month. I do not want the app to locate me all the time. But I can only choose between option 1) and 3) above.
Is there a technical reason apps work like this? Or are they just sneakily trying to get as much information about me as possible?

everything rudegar said is right on. Still, 10% overnight is more than you would expect - so something is still running. try-
double click the home button, and see what apps are listed as recent. one or more of them might be still churning away. it is a good idea to close those out fully every night. Any of those apps with notifications or location services may be checking in every now and then and using your power.
you mentioned airplane mode is 'off'. this may be a terminolgy thing - but having airplane mode 'off', means that the radios are on. WiFi, and 3 G if you have it. turning airplane mode "on" turns off the radios.
with everything off on mine - (except I leave the wifi on) - i use 2 or 3% overnight.
But if you really want it off - do what rudegar says.

Problem Adjustment Layer PP CS6

Hello everyone, you have the same bug as me in the first pro CS6 and layers of effects.
Mounting with the gpu, in a sequence dslr, I put an adjustment layer on top of a video, I use a level on the adjustment layer (so far so good, the effect is clearly visible) and as soon as I play on the opacity effect (to fade on two key eg), the effect is no longer visible.

*Error message when exporting: "Error compiling movie. Uknown error"
The culprit from my point of view is the adjustment layer. As soon as I remove it from the timeline it seems to work..
I think it has been working in the past..
No other software is running in the background of notice as far as I am concerned...
I have third party codecs installed but none of them where used here. I used fast collorcorrection and procamp on the adjustmentlayer.
Hardware:
intel i7 3930K
32GB RAM
nvidia 680 GTX 4GB
samsung 840 pro ssd
Im using mercury playback engine GPU accelerator
this only happends when doing final export as far as I know. I can play the clip in the timeline even if the effects on adjustmentlayer isnt working properly when using opacity keyframes.

In order to delete or add individual songs from and to your iPod, you'll need to enable 'manual mode' on the device. This will allow you to add and remove exactly the content you desire.

I am using struts and the name attribute in form tag is not giving me the desired reuslt. The code is

"document.loginActionForm " is null or not an object.Where am I going wrong?

I did so but the name I have used in the form tag is the same as what i have used in javascript.I dont think that it is a javascript error and it must be some mistake I made in the form tag.Also one more thing is it necessary to use the type attribute if you use the name attribute.

To the software people of blackberry..To whom it may concern, you can go on the blackberry app world and read all the reviews about facebook and all the problems the software is having. The problem that every one is having is the facebook icon is not on the phone and can't get on it....We all haved look in every folder to see if the icon would be in there and it is not...the program is on the phone by looking in the application folder..

UserName() function in one textbox is not refreshing and not giving the login-user name in the existing forms

Scenario :
I put one textbox in infopath 2010 form and using "userName()" function on this textbox.
this function give us current username which is log-in into the site.
and i am applying rule on the other controls on the basis of this textbox users login-id.
This is working in one list.
Now I am using the same thing in form library:
but if I create one form and user which login are displaying on this textbox.
but when i loggin the same site with another user and to open the same form there is still the name of the user which save the form not showing user name which is currently login.
and If I click on "Add Document" then in the new form at this textbox the login user is showing.
I don't know why it is not working or refreshing .
Although I selected the "Refresh value when formula is recalculated" in the textbox properties.

You need to set this function on form load instead of textbox. Just click on form load from ribbon then add an rule and set this textbox value to userName(). Don't put any condition.
