Bug? Application not appearing in Application builder

Version 3.1.2.00.02
I have an application 102 which is translated to japanese as application 103 in my workspace - training
I have another application in a different database with application number 102 in workspace - develop.
I export application 102 from develop and import it into training. I select Auto Assign New Application ID. This creates the application with ID 103!
I was able to work and make changes and do everything on this new application. However, when I check in the application builder, I cannot not see this application. And when I try to run the application 102 in japanese (translated), then, it fails with an error.
Though I cannot see the new application 103 in my builder, I can run the application by making changes in the URL and if I click on 'Edit Application' link, then, I am able to make changes and work on application 103.
I realised that this is a corrupted version, and deleted my japanese translation of 102. This deleted my new application as well.
Is this a bug ?

It will be most probably because of Security not defined for this new application in the "Member Access profile". Please check.

  • Deployed Application Not appearing in Task Pane

    I have deployed an application, have mapped all the required Roles to Participants...post successfull deployment, when i am loggin into BPM workspace,Application doesnt appear.However Application Roles are all getting displayed into Admin Console of BPM.

    1. You mean to say, on left side you do not see a link for your application to initiate a task. Am I right ? If so, first check if you have some Users added to that first Initiator Role. If you deployed your app one time from JDev at that time only all the participants you add for that role will be stored in the db. Any later redeployments with more participants will not be reflected. This is part of design of bpm itself. So from BPM Workspace, login as admin. From Adminstrator link, add the users to that Role and see if that helps. If you added particpants in the JDeveloper IDE itself, they may not be reflected, even though you see them listed in admin console. So better delete existing participants or add some new participants and see if that works.
    2. I hope the first user task, that submits the task has actions like Submit and it should be Initiator type user task. When you edit the user task and add a human task, at that time, select from drop down as Initiator with only one Action like Submit.
    3. Restarting the server helps sometimes. But this may not be the root cause for your issue. Everytime you add a new participant to initiator role, we cannot expect to restart the soa servers. Add a new user from bpm admin console and thats all we need.

    Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
    Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
    I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
    Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
    You generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
    If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    You may be advised by others to try to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name, or by running "utilities" that purport to remove software. I don't give such advice. Those tactics often will not work and maymake the problem worse.

  • Applications Not Appearing in Workspace (9.3.1)

    Hello all,
    We recently upgraded to system 9.3.1 and intermittently users are not seeing the applications when logging into Workspace.
    Example: USER A logs in to Workspace, is able to perform all necessary duties by logging on to the application for days, sometimes weeks at a time. Suddenly, USER A logs in, and Workspace appears as if there are no applications registered at all. The next day USER A logs in and everything is back to normal.
    Can anybody give me a clue as to where to look to find the source of this?
    I have a sneaking suspicion it is because the applications were not properly de-registered from the previous version (System 9.3.0.1) which had completely different server names as the current system 9.3.1.
    If that is the case, those references would be located in the tables in the main HFM database, but what, or should i even, modify/delete those references?

    The error is only occurring on our HSS/Core Services box.
    One of the log files for BIPLUS on the HSS box grows to 4GB, cuts off then starts creating another one of itself and does this AT LEAST once a day!
    here is a sampling of the error we are getting on the 'server_messages_usageservice' log file:

    So in one of the log errors, it lists the user that is trying to connect. It is the SS admin I created during the installation, 'hypadmin'. This user of course does not have access to the BIPLUS db, which would cause these errors.
    So I tried something, created a SQL user of the same name with the same password. Restarted services, and everything seemed to work fine, except this time when I tried to launch SS, it said a severe error had occurred, and to restart SS.
    I restarted, same error. the horror consumes me...
    so i went back into SQL, looked at the processes and lo and behold hypadmin was using one measely connection. I killed the process, killed the user ID in SQL, restarted all of my services and everything was golden again except, of course, the monstrosity that is the usageservice log file and the constant hangs while in the user management console.
    does any of this ring a bell? how would a native directory user be configured to access the db???

    On windows 7 64-bit. Reader XI (11.0.09) sometimes starts the process but does not appear in the applications. This happens however the application is started i.e. start menu, double click pdf, double click AcroRd32.exe. It

  • Try to update firefox--ownloads but ff icon does not appear, nor applications folder.

    It downloads on my desktop with an icon that looks like my hard drive icon. No round ff icon, and application folder icon does not appear. What does this mean? What next? Mac OS 10.6.8

    If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

  • Application does not appear in applications folder

    On OS X Mountain Lion, there is an application (not from the Mac App Store) that does not appear in my applications folder, but it DOES appear in Launchpad and I would like to delete it. How can I remove it? Since it is not from the Mac App Store, I cannot click the "x" or drag it to the trash.

    Where is the application located if not in the Applications folder? You can use Spotlight to find it. When you do just drag it to the Trash.

  • Downloaded trial app does not appear in Applications folder

    I downloaded the Photoshop CC trial, and my Creative Cloud app manager tells me it's updated. But, I can't find the app anywhere on my Mac OSX 10.8.5 computer - it's not in the Applications folder, which I know how to access from the Finder window. I did a search of my entire computer and there is no sign that this app exists. What am I missing?

  • Application Not Appearing in Mobile Handheld Device

    Hi Experts,
    I am using a windows mobile hand held device. I am using Netweaver mobile 7.1.I have uploaded the SDA file using SDOE_UPLAOD_ARCHIVE. After this, I have created a logical device  in the middle ware.I have added my application in the MCD.
    In my physical device, i Have installed CreMe , ESWT file ,MIn DB and run time. In my mobile client i have created user ,and maintained the sync settings properly .
    I have synchronized the device with the middle ware,I find that the outbound queue of the device which had data gets cleared,But i do not find my application in the application launcher in my physical device.
    I have checked the middle ware,There I could see this status of the application as  Installation Pending" ( While synchronization) i notice messages in the device " Installing mobile components".
    I tried uninstalling and installing the mobile client several times but cannot fins the application.
    Can anybody help me on this?

    Hi,
    As pointed out by Alan, the user authorizations would not havebeen assigned to the device. You need to assign the authorizations to view the application in the client.
    If the authorizations are already present, then there might be some issue with installation. Check the MI\inbox folder &
    Apps folder if the applications are present. In any case you can raise a ticket with SAP support.

    like to expose certain properties in Flex Builder. One is the
    communication endpoint '_endPointURL', which is defined like this:

  • CUP Application not a Valid Application

    I wanted to add a new Application (Non SAP) to the Request form.  So under Configuration Tab; I clicked Application Configuration and selected Created.  I filled out the Application, Sort Description, and Description field.  I left System ID and Client blank since this is an not SAP Application.  When creating a request; I can select the Application from the Others tab, but when I go to select roles It tells me "Select at least one valid application." 
    How do I add my application as a valid application?

    I have my LDAP Connection; which would be great to use; but it is not an option as an application.  How do I create a connection to Active Directory without using a LDAP connection; or how can I get my LDAP to show up as an Application? 
    Just to Clarify; when I go into Applicaiton Configuration; I can see my LDAP conneciton; but the Application field is left blank.  I assume that is why when you create a request; I do not see the LDAP as an option.  I can not select my LDAP Connection to change the Application field. 
    Any Suggestions?

  • SRM Confirmation IDOC errors - Not appearing in Application Monitor

    We receive Shipping confirmations from vendors in XML format to our Business Connector and then the IDOC gets created in SRM. Some of the IDOCs are failing due to validation errors with data in confirmation. (For example the item level shipping count doesn't match whats on PO). When the failures ocur like this, the errors getting written to Administrators Inbox. All IDOCS succesfully processed in SRM in turn will go through normal confirmation scenario (Creating IDOCs in R/3).
    Is there a way to get them into EBP Application Monitor? Please let me know.

    Hi,
    You may not get ORA-4030 in the Alert log as it for system level resource issue, so it should appear at run time for new processes trying to create new processes and are requesting memory. The existing running database processes does not get impacted when they already have memory allocated.

    Not all ORA errors reported on alert.log file. Some of the ORA errors are reported only on client side. This error will be reported on alert.log if any of the oracle server processes is not able to allocate memory.

  • AIR application not appearing in GotoMeeting Session

    I was demo-ing an AIR application last Friday, but the group
    that was on the GotoMeeting session was not a able to see the app.
    That particular desktop window was not being transmitted. I've also
    noticed a similar issue when trying to screen capture an AIR window
    locally on my laptop which is running Windows XP. It's as if that
    window does not exist and there is nothing to capture. Known bug?
