Bug bug bug, again NOKIA. NOTES?

Hello,
I have E55 with latest firmware which seems 34.001. The very irritating problem this time is about ' Notes' application under Menu > Office.
Problem: Open an existing note in notes, modify it, choose options > exit. It wont' offer discarding changes! It saves, overwrites modified note eventhough you modify or delete a part of note accidently as if you choose OK!
That's not good!
Has anyone faced off this?

My E73 behaves the same way, but I went a step further and compared this to editing Contact and Calendar entries. Options -> Exit for Contacts does the same thing, while Options -> Exit for Calendar also exits immediately, but never saving the changes. For me, none of these apps has a "Discard changes?" option. In that way they are consistent, but in terms of saving or not saving, Nokia could improve that. Although at this late stage in 3rd Edition development, I might argue there are much bigger bugs to tackle...

Does it get sorted if you uninstall the subject application ? If so..the problem lies with the application and not the phone ...
..but before that confirm that you are connected to the Internet .. You may try after rebooting the phone. Also un-install and re-install the application and try again ..

1. The mobile network gets disconnected after each call and I have to wait atleast 10-20 seconds to redial or make a new call, I cannot dial a number just after I finish a call / speaking with someone. It happens on both Incoming and outgoing Calls.

If you reinstalled the OS again from Nokia, you may just have a defective phone and there could be something wrong with the hardware. I have two N9's and I haven't experience any of these problems.
Can you record these problems and post the link to youtube here so I can see what's happening?

Is there ANY way to report firmware bugs to nokia ...

Nokia released firmware 51.018 for E52 6 months ago.This broke N-Gage and games which were paid for can not be activted.The problem is not corrected in later updates.
Firmware v52,v53,v54.Nokia Care centers tell me its Network problem.I have tested 5 E52s and it is a firmware problem.Mailing to ASK nokia does not reult in bug getting known to programmers either.They lecture me about correct settings.
Some body please tell me if there ANY way to report firmware bugs to nokia programmers

Weather bug clock did not update to daylight savings

The weather bug clock did not go to daylight savings time. My Samsung fascinate is new and I checked for updates and there are none.

My clock was an hour ahead for my home city. I opened Weather bug. Then went to Menu and selected "My city list". I deleted my home city and any other cities. Your homepage will show no city. Then I selected "Select city" on the menu, typed in an found my city again and selected it.Now the time is correct. Finally.

1. When I move the "sound on/off" button, I get it buzzing 10 times before the setting is changed and I can do anything else, just not reacting to the round button on screen touches.
2. Impossible to copy text from most websites into notes.
3. Impossible to delete an email account in settings.
4. Uses up the battery twice as fast as before. I have "update apps" setting turned off, just reading a couple of mails, making a couple of photos and open maps apps twice a day, and the battery is dead well before the evening.
5. Got extremely slow, and it was getting slower and slower with every system update.
I'm sure I forgot something... But well, that already a lot.

Well, actually number 3 in my list is not true any more, I just tried to delete my account 15 times, then I've written my post, then half an hour later my Settings finally updated my accounts list. Whohoo
I did not try restoring it yet, thank you for the link!

Bug in Nokia Model 1110

There is a Bug in Nokia Model 1110.
Go to Menu->Settings->Display Settings and then click on select ,it gives list of display setting options -
1. Power Saver clock
3. Cell info display
4. Backligt\ht time
5. Screen Saver
So, there is no second option and it is missing from list.

Sms problem bug with nokia 6710 navigator

hi, i'm jack, surfer from italy.
the new kind of t9 with nokia navigator 6710 is really really bad, i'm searching to get the older one on this phone.
the problem is that when you press * to change the word, the phone become slower, and open a new window where you can see the words and choose. this thing is really uncomfortable and make you really slower and harder to complete the sms.
the big problem is that you can't enable or disable this option, you must use it! this is a very bad thing from nokia, cause people must choose their way to write sms.
i can disable and enable t9, so why can't i enable and disable this option? this is a bug from nokia in this phone!
please help me to find a patch, a software or something else to solve this problem, or if doesn't exist i need someone that advice nokia to put something to download on the site, to solve this problem.

1st of all dont store alot of text on phone this slows it down
2nd try a soft reset this restores phone to out of box state the code is *#7370# security code is 12345 back up contacts and apps etc

but fail

The private constructor that is used to set the values of the enum is not necessary according to JDev (Message: Constructor not used) which is wrong.

Illegal modifier for the enum VideoFormat; only public is permittedis what Eclipse here tells me. Removing static fixed this problem.
Have you modified the compiler options (Project -> Properties -> Java Compiler -> Compiler compliance level) to be 1.4 or under? You need 1.5 (5.0) or 1.6 (6.0) for enum declarations to be correct.
Just to test, I changed the compiler compliance level to 1.4 and it threw 2 errors which are similar to what you have:
Syntax error on token "enum", interface expected
Syntax error on token ",", delete this tokens

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
