I recently installed a neo fisr2 motherboard. I am still working out a few bugs and one of the most common I am having is a BSOD that says "error bug code usb driver". Other than the 4-LED bracket and the onboard usb's that came with the board I have no other usb ports, hubs or pci cards installed. The only device I have connected to the usb port is a printer that has worked flawlessly on other systems. Right now this "bug" is my biggest system problem and crashes the pc about once a day. Thanks in advance for any help, my system specs are listed in my signature.

Well, Apple's Support site states that "error 19" refers to:
19
dsNoPk2
package 2 not present [Disk Initialization]
So since the hard drive is unable to initialize, the implication is that the hard drive has failed, and your computer's symptoms tend to confirm this. I'm afraid its time to take the computer in for diagnosis and repair at this point.

Bugcode-usb-driver error

Apple mobile device usb driver error

I have got a new iPad. My problem is with 'Apple Mobile Device usb driver'. I can't connect my iPad to iTunes in my pc: win7, 64bits.
Any solution, please?

Satellite C660-1ZM Win 7 64bit: mousepad and USB - "code 52" driver error

Having recently set up a new Satellite C660-1ZM running Windows 7 64bit (upgraded from Home Premium to Ultimate) for a friend, the mousepad and USB ports have suddenly stopped working. The drivers show an exclamation mark against them and the error is "code 52" which is related to driver signing. Windows doesn't seem to recognise the driver signatures for the published drivers that came on the machine's pre-installed disc, so the devices don't work. I've updated the drivers (Intel chipset [which includes USB]; Synaptics touchpad) to the latest ones publised on the Toshiba web site - and we have the same problem.
Pressing F8 on boot allows you to select "disable checking of driver signing" in the WIndows 7 boot options, which then enables the drivers and all is well, until you reboot - at which point you have to hit F8 again.
I think that one of the many recent Windows updates has somehow messed things up, but we can't easily prove that. The machine worked fine for a week or so, then the mousepad suddenly quit working around 8th August 2012.
1) Are there valid signed drivers that pass whatever checks Microsoft impose on driver signing, including whatever checks they've potentially just imposed via some recently inflicted update?
2) Does anyone know exactly how to disable the checking of driver signing permanently, so that a reboot will not require the F8 keypress and so on?
Uninstalling the mousepad driver and rebooting gives the basic mouse functionality, without the Synaptics cleverness. However, the USB ports still don't work because their driver doesn't load, so an external mouse doesn't work.
It's an infernal nusiance. Driving the system off the keyboard to uninstall drivers etc. is not much fun.

Did you receive the error that windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device? Usually this means the error code 52
Since the USB drivers are parts of the Windows OS, I dont think that this could be an signature issue I think some files are damaged.
Try to uninstalling/reinstalling the driver and deleting the device and its drivers from device manager before reinstalling.
Usually this should help, if not, well try to repair the system.
Power up the unit and press F8. Then choose Repair my Computer.
Now choose the first option which would help to repair the system.

IPhone USB Driver Error

This is probably an error with my computer but maybe somebody could help me out. When I have my new 3G iphone connected to my computer, it disconnects from itunes and stops charging after a few minutes. In device manager it still shows up but it has the error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)." I tried uninstalling the driver and restarting the computer. Once again the problem persisted. How should I go about keeping my iPhone connected to iTunes? Thanks,

If you are using a USB hub, don't. If you have a desktop or tower computer and you are using a USB port on the front of the computer switch to one on the back. Or get a hub that has its own power source.

I am getting a Bugcode USB Driver error on my Dell with Windows 7.

This error started 1.2 months ago randomly and I sent it to Dell for repair 3 times since totaling 1 month. They replaced the Harddrive and installed a new OS and the error returned anyway. Here is what the Blue Screen reader shows. Dell is now saying its
the motherboard but they have given me so many wrong answers it pisses me off. Can you please help me?:

As the issue still occurs after reinstalling the system, the issue is more related to hardware device. From the log files, it seems the issue is caused by the motherboard.
Please consider updating Firmware of motherboard from Dell site or replacing it directly.

BlackBerry Z10 usb driver error

Hello! I really angry about my blackberry device! I installed BlackBerry Link and when I try to connect the device to computer it says "No driver found". I tried another cable, tried another pc, I deleted device from device manager, I several times reinstall Blackberry link, but nothing works. Receiving USB driver error

I am receving an error that states that the driver that allows me to burn cds, is missing and that this is usually caused by the installation of antoher cd burning software. It states to uninstall and re-install the itunes. I have tried this numerous times. NOTHING I am still getting the same error.

There are several posts here on the Lexmark x5470. One that mentions your specific problem is here:

Other have had success using the Lexmark drivers and then disabling or deleting a plugin. There are several threads on this.

Ipod Nano USB driver fails continuosly

Initial problem: Device not found; located error in USB driver, uninstalled driver, rebooted sytem, found new driver - installed properly able to sync. (No hidden drivers listed in que) unconnect/reconnect ipod and USB driver error returns.(Each time)
Background services running are: Yahoo ISM, winamp, InCD, HP monitor, ATT self support, Logitech quick cam, McAfee, Index search.
Any known reasons why USB driver would continue to fail from dormant state? (unconnected and plugging in)

Make sure you have no other USB drives connected to your computer when connecting your iPod. I have a 4th gen Nano which fails to connect up when I connect it to my other Vista-based PC only if my USB hard disk is connected up.
I need to disconnect my external USB hard drive in Vista to get it to "see" the iPod. Also, might be handy to disconnect other USB devices like printers and your Logitech camera (which I have also connected, but that doesn't have any problem).

Apple Mobile Device USB Driver (CODE 52 Error)

I've been trying to sync my ipod touch with my laptop computer. I recently updated my version of iTunes, and now can not get my ipod to sync with my computer. The problem is in the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver. The error I am getting is a Code 52 error which states: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source." I've tried uninstalling the USB driver along with iTunes and all the related software. I have a windows 7 notebook. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

"LabVIEW load error code 3" USB drive

I'm not expecting any solution here, though it would be nice...
Twice, recently, I've lost a top-leve VI due to the error below. I suspect the problem is related to working off a new USB drive - a 2G Lexar Firefly. For two or three years a Lexar Jumpdrive Elite (256M) served me flawlessly, after moving to the Firefly ~2 weeks ago, this error has happened twice. BTW, the Firefly is also extremely slow - amazingly slow, considering how much newer it is.
If any wiz-kids have dissected the VI binary well enough to, possibly, identify/repair problems, it would be very much appreciated!

Thanks for the heads-up re: background-apps slowing-down drive.To be honest, I don't know how to find/disable such apps. but now know to look.
Re: Lexar Firefly - it's slow by design, though there's no warning on the package when you buy it. Here's the response from their Customer Support:
"Jumpdrive Firefly is a non-speed rated Jumpdrive and is made of MLC technology.
MLC stands for Multiple Level Cell technology. It is a technology that allows each memory cell in flash media to store two bits instead of one in each memory cell. In SLC (Single Level Cell) technology, a 0 is assigned to one voltage level, and a 1 is assigned a different voltage level. But in MLC, the binary numbers 00, 01, 10, and 11 are all assigned progressively higher voltage levels. The MLC technology is lower in cost because it can store twice as much in each cell. It is also significantly slower than SLC technology, because it takes more processing to decode the information in each cell.
Hmm, I thought "MLC" stood for Mutton, Lettuce and Cheese! ;^)
Anyway... because the VI corruption has bitten me twice in the relatively short time since switching to the Firefly, it or Firefly-specific SW seems responsible. Experimenting now with a 2G replacement (not a Lexar.)
The size of the corrupted VI, on disk, looks normal as if it's largely intact - too bad it's inaccessible!

10.5.7 fixes USB drive formatting bug

Despite all of the issues people are having with the 10.5.7 upgrade, one good thing has happened with this latest release...Apple has finally fixed a bug that would not allow you to format an external USB drive using Mac OS X Extended Journaled. See:

You could previously format a drive via FireWire. I successfully formatted an external USB drive this past weekend with 10.5.7 installed. Then, I rolled back to 10.5.6.

Errors on external USB drive

I'm trying to track down the cause of failed backups to a brand-new 300Gb Seagate drive in a external USB <-> SATA enclosure.
I observe these errors in Retrospects verification phase.
These errors could
- be 10.4.6 not playing well with external USB drives - that the new drive is essentially DOA
- that the enclosure is a dud.
- reflect an inability on Retrospect's part (e.g. unable to work properly with USB drives on 10.4.6)
I've asked on the EMC Retrospect forum for their take on this, buts that's a very slow forum...
Any pointers are welcome. I strongly prefer not to have to buy commercial solutions; after all, the "fix" may be to ask the supplier to take his drive back and refund me and I wouldn't want to spend if that's the case. Command-line solutions are fine.
The data can be correctly backed up to another external drive (via Firewire) so its not the source data. Its not the specific USB port: tried other ports, etc. At one point there were some errors reported by Disk Utility, but I've repaired these and it now claims all is well.

Anyway, an upgrade to OS X 10.4.7 (from 10.4.6) seems to have put this right, after a lot of different testing exercises and reading. At least for the first time in many attempts I've been able to run a sizeable backup using Retrospect without the verification pass yielding hundreds of errors.
It would seem, at least for Retropsect users, that OS X 10.4.6 needs to be avoided if you intend backing up to an external USB drive--?

Disk Utility create image error - "Invalid Argument" - on USB drive.

I wanted to use a USB 2.0 drive that I share with a Windows machine to backup my son's iBook. I divided the drive into two partitions and formatted the iBook backup partition as FAT32. I attempted to create a read-only disk image on the USB drive in order to backup the iBook, but it does not complete successfully - it terminates with an "Invalid Argument" error. I also tried creating a read/write disk image and that terminates with an error "File or Folder not found." Anyone have any tips or clues as to what may be the problem?

I figured out my problem to some extent. I was not creating an empty image, but was trying to create a disk image without selecting a folder. Once I selected create an empty image from the File menu I did not get the error and was able to create an empty image on the USB drive.
