Bug(?) Dropping a snippet which browses for SubVIs in not undo-able

Here is one that fortunately hadn't struck me yet, but is a bit of a pain.
Situation: Interesting snippet on forum page. User has disdain for most MSoft products so refuses to use IE unless there is no other option and iPhone is discharged. Arrange the browser and desired BD so the drag from browser to desktop to BD can take place. On the way to the desired BD, a muscle spasm occurs causing the snippet to drop on the wrong BD. No big deal, after LV does its thing and finds the subVIs I press Ctrl-z. Nothing. Now I have to go through and surgically remove the snippet code from the original BD.
Normal snippet drops are undoable, but apparently not if LV has to browse for a subVI. LV9 SP1

I tried to duplicate this situation and I found that you are right, it should work, but doesn't. I've filed a correction action request to alert R&D ofthe situation. Thanks for the information.

Safari. But as with any browser, speed depends on what type of internet connection have, high speed being the fastest.

Empty the cache, Reset Safari, delete WebpageIcons.db from ~/Library/Safari
A lean machine runs faster and better performance. Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. *Make sure you always have a minimum of 10% to 15% free disk space at all times.*
Have you found any tricks to make Webkit, Firefox or Google Chrome faster ?
Same for any browser. Empty the cache often, clear the history.

I have tried "run as Admin" and in "XP Compatibility mode" but still no luck fixing this issue in Win 7. Anyone have a potential fix so I can stop wasting time double checking every link/img on new work?

Which browser for mac osx 10.3.9(pop up says 2.0.0.2 is out of date)

What more do you want other than what I have already given. ie which browser do I go to which is compatible with mac OSX10.3.9 after pop up window advises me that the current version of Firefox (2.0.0.20) is out of date. To change to the later version of Firefox would mean me having to uprate my O.S. to 10.4 which will cost me money!

Sorry, there is no newer version of Firefox available for Mac OS X 10.3.
Please be aware that Apple no longer provides security updates for Mac OS X 10.3, and other important software like Firefox is no longer updated for that platform either. If at all possible, I recommend you upgrade your computer to protect your privacy and security. Perhaps you can find a friend with a copy of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 that they are no longer using?

Which browser for using workcenter?

which browser are you using for working with the workcenter?
At the moment I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and if I navigate to ABAP Syslog Errors (Exception Analysis) I get following message: " Web application processing terminated". But if I use Mozilla Firefox, this doesn't happen.
Any idea?

You might want to make sure you are on SAPGUI 710 or higher.
Lower versions can cause problems with Windows Explorer 8.0

'Browse For File' icon not working in Dreamweaver CS4

Hello All.
Ever since upgrading my copy of Dreamweaver from version 8 to CS4, I seem to have accounted an annoying bug (?)
If, for example, I want to change an image on a webpage, I would click the image in question on the screen and by using the Properties panel would select a new image by clicking the 'Browse For File' icon in the 'Source File Of Image' section of the panel.
Then I would select the new image, hit 'OK' and the image would be changed.
Now when I do this nothing happens - the original image remains and cannot be altered.
I now have to manually type the link of the new image into the 'Source File Of Image' field, which is a pain.
I have even disabled my firewall and anti-virus just in case these were somehow conflicting but still no change.
Any ideas anyone please?

Using Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

If Dreamweaver is behaving in an odd way, it frequently means that there is a corrupt personal configuration folder.
Close Dreamweaver, locate the personal configuration folder, and rename it.
When you restart Dreamweaver, it should create a new configuration folder with all the program defaults.
For details of how to find the configuration folder, see this page in the Dreamweaver FAQ.

Using Photo Browser For Photo's Not I iPhoto??

Is Photo Browser in Mail connected to only Apple programs (iPhoto) or can I use it to browse a folder of my choosing?

I'm not sure what you are driving at in your last post. If you are thinking of a "browser" (like the Photo Browser) that looks at everything in the file system (like a Finder window or dialogue, and opposed to just scanning for images), then we already have that. This is, essentially, what we get by clicking the "Attach" button.
However, that's not the only way to attach documents/files to an email. We can simply drag anything we want to attach into the Mail composition window, directly from the Finder. Mail has long been completely "drag and drop" in this regard.
What we have now, new to Mail, is support for what has become "traditional" iLife media browsing. Consider that the iLife components all interoperate with each other's libraries, all being able to show just what the other one does. Mail is now "joining the club," and can see what is stored in the iLife libraries just as they appear in the pertinent iLife applications. In effect, it can now "think" like iPhoto.
What I am looking to see is the addition of support for the other iLife components in Mail. I have no doubt that this would appear as tabs to the current Photo Browser, just like in iMovie, allowing one to look at "Photos" (from iPhoto), "Music" (from iTunes), and "Movies" (from iMovie).
Best of all, the same functionality is being built into the Finder. Just a couple days before Leopard was released, I listened to a complaint by a friend about the fact that one cannot open an image in iPhoto in an application like Photoshop, not directly from the "Open..." dialogue in Photoshop. My response to him was that he could open iPhoto, set his preferences there to open double-clicked images in Photoshop, then manage things that way.
Only the next day, I found out that Leopard was incorporating the "Media Browser" functionality into the Finder. This is exactly what my friend was looking for! He'll have to upgrade to Leopard, of course

Multiple bugs in multiple apps but only for me and not my friends

I have a lot of problems with various apps that ONLY happen for me, none of my friends with the same apps get these problems.
I have tried the following:
Backup and restore - doesnt fix it
start over again redownloading the apps by syncing - Seems to fix things, a few days or a week later the problems reappear (might be after I did another sync)
started on my 3gs, also happens on my 4
So I think there is a problem in my account somewhere and no idea how to fix it at all.
So really what I would like to do is just transfer only my app purchases to a new account and start fresh from there, I wouldnt even mind if the old account was then deleted either but I dont mind either way
Oh and before someone asks its not and never has been jailbroken.

I would imagine it's a simple enough bit of additional code, but I'm no programmer, and trawling the Web has proved fruitless to date...
Within Flash CS5 and using AS 3, I'm attempting to create a series of drag-and-drop interactions for a learning exercise where items must be dragged into the correct box with positive and negative feedback being generated as a result of where the learner drops the item. All I need is the code to link the drag and drop code snippet (which I have working) to a specific object/location on the stage (which I cannot find nor figure out for the life of me)!
I may be overcomplicating given that perhaps there is a CS5-compatible extension out there somewhere (whatever happened to all of the e-learning extensions and tools Flash once had if my memory serves?) which can provide me with an easily customizable template to achive what I need to do?

A good working browser for mac G3 ?

Hi there I finally got my old clam shell up and running new everything and it now has an aiport card - now I am looking for a browser that works. Any ideas on what, where and how would be gratefully recieved.
At the moment it is on its original OS 8. ( i think I have a copy of of the software update to 9 - not risked that yet because it is so nice to have it alive and kicking again.)

You posted in the OS X 10.3 & below forum. Are you saying you need a browser for OS 8 & not OS X? There's not going to be many options & a browser that old may not work with many of today's web pages.

Browsed through all bugs (search term = "Packager")
found lots of interesting bugs related to the ActiveX bridge,
but must have overlooked the one complaining about the
dropped bridge.
Could you provide the correct bug id?
I will vote for keeping the bridge, perhaps an improved one,
or else give it to the public domain.
