[Bug] Email - Doesn't check email when it should and plays alert muliple times

There is a bug in webOS 2.0.1 on ither a verizon or unlocked Pre 2 where the email app does not check email when it should. For example, if it is set to "as the arrive" it only checks ever 30 min.
In addition, when emails do arrive it will play the alert tone as many times as there are new emails in the current check. For example if it checks for email and there is 4 new messages the phone tires to play the email alert ringtone 4 times at once.

Do you have more than one device checking the email acct? If so, please have only the Pre2 getting that email acct using as items arrive (IDLE) and see how that fairs. I can replicate this issue with certain mail providers if I use IDLE on more than one deivce to it. Keep me posted.

Edit the list the comes up when you go to the Window menu and select "Previous Recipients".

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Does anyone know how to set up for Business process monitoring different email adresses for yellow and red alerts?

Hi Szilvia,
the only workaround is the way you describe by duplicating the monitoring object. This is of course not the intention as the data collection will take place two times.
What I would like to understand is the use case behind it. As we implemented BPMon at around 100 customers and never got the request as something critical. Is is just for escalating the problem or what is the idea behind different recipients for different ratings?
If it thought to be for escalation purposes you have to be very careful as seting the right threshold values is really an art. You probably don't want to bother the next escalation hierarchy with too many problems.

It depends on the recipients settings, whether they have read receipts set to on or off. If they have it off, you will not be notified of the actual time they read your message.

I have this on both machines running 10.10.1 OS X and AE 2014. I see on line that others are having this issue. I think it needs a Patch ASAP.

Hello. Basically I can create a new comp that is set to 1920 x 1080, @ 30 frames per second for 1 minute TRT. I create a new solid layer, say red. I hit space bar or play on the screen, and it does not play in real time. ITs on my Imac as well. same OS and Same Version software.

Well, before you hit the panic button, why don't you tell us precisely what you're doing when AE plays at 17fps -- the keys you hit, the buttons you click to begin play.

This problem only occurs whenever I am using my netbook. It doesn't happen when I use a different computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes and am not sure what else to do from here.

You may have transferred all your songs, but your iPad is seeing the library as a different entity.

Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

You need only one Email address for creating an Apple Id and the Second Rescue Email address is optional and is required to reset password and security Questions in case you forget the Password or Security Questions. So if you have only one email address then still you can create your New Apple Id.

Email not updating automatically and no alert sounds since update.

Email was updating automatically before with no problem and alerting me with each new email. Since update I have to update manually and no alerts are coming through. Have checked my settings and everything seems to be fine. Any suggestions???

im not sure of a way to go in there and set it to automatically update. but i had that problem with some games and when i went to manually update them i scrolled down a little and it gave me the option to check a box to allow it to automatically update. you can check for updates in settings>about phone>system updates.

How do I set MacBook to an external display when the plug and play doesn't recognize it? I am trying to set my Samsung 530 LCD as a monitor but HDMI and VGA cords (and the adaptor for them) doesn't seem to work.

I have tried everything I can find on line but they all claim that the plug and play works, and they don't for me. I tried the mini dvi to HDMI and a HDMI cord and that was not recognized no matter which unit I rebooted first. I found someone who said that my Macbook might be too old for the HDMI technology so I returned the cords and went to the VGA cord and adaptor.

I contacted Samsung support and they said I needed to set the display settings to external display on the mac. I went to the display settings and moved the icon to my status bar. When I click on search for displays or whatever it says (I'm not at my Mac right now) it does nothing.
What am I missing?

I am using MAC OSx 10.5.8 (9L31a) as my operation system. The TV says "No signal. Check connected device's power, cable connection and source selection." Seems to me that that goes in hand with what the Samsung tech said about the Mac needing to be forces to use the external display. But how do I do that?

I am getting emails multiple times and they aren't deleting. They keep coming back. I then get a server errer that mail.me may be a false server pretending to be mail.me. Don't know how to fix this.

when in firefox my track pad doesn't always respond when I want to use fingers to scroll up or down in the screen...any thoughts?

it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

When I try and play music, it constantly fast forwards

Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble with the Music app on my iPhone 4S.
It started a couple of weeks ago, when the Play button would not work. It lit up to confirm it had been pressed, but there was no action.
I upgraded to iOS6 last night, and now, when I try to play from the beginning of a playlist, it appears to rapidly fast forward through all tracks until the end, as if someone was constantly hitting the fast forward command.
I've sone a home+power button reset but to no avail. Any thoughts or ideas?

Yes. iTunes wants a valid (non-expired) credit card. Then check and make sure the 30.00 appears in your account (it should). That money will be spent first assuming you purchase something that it can be used for (e.e., not a gift card).
