Bug entre Mail d'Apple et Acrobat/Adobe Reader

Bonjour,
a+
Stéphane

J'en ai profité pour passer de la CS5 à la CC.
L'installation c'est donc faite avec Creative Cloud (le logiciel qui “manage” les applis et qui n'a pas de nom spécifique )

    Best regards
    Oliver Prodinger

    Hello Oliver,
this is the most important. But there are a lot improvment in performance of tables for example. From SAP IF by Adobe point of view these are the important improvements.

  • Mail crashes if "open in adobe reader" is clicked on quicklook

mail crashes if "open in adobe reader" is clicked on quicklook

You don't need any third party app at all in order to view a supported file in the mail app. It should be viewable even without Adobe Reader.
You do see a paper clip icon to indicate that there is an attachment but you don't see the opened PDF or the PDF icon in the body of the email? Did you swipe all the way down to the bottom of the screen? Is this just happening in one email or does it happen everywhere in the mail app?
Quit the mail app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the mail app icon. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Launch mail again and see if the PDF opens or appears. If it doesn't, close mail again and restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • Acrobat/Adobe Reader 10.1-One Big Headache

I have tried several times to get Acrobat/Adobe Reader -10.1 to install. I was successful installing. But in the first few minutes of using, My computer
ran slower and even froze.I removed 10.1 and re-installed Reader 9 instead. If you are going to put an update out there ...Make sure it is USER-FRIENDLY!!!!!!!. Get it together Adobe! This is Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

    According to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/860/cpsid_86063.html from 2012-01-09
"Unsupported configurations for Reader running in Protected Mode include:
Hosting on a Citrix or Windows Terminal Server. Fixed 10.1 (including Acrobat's Protected View)."
    Try disabling Protected Mode:
    From Adobe's help file:
    Protected mode (Windows)
By default, Adobe Reader X runs in protected mode to provide an added layer of security. In protected mode, malicious PDF documents can’t launch arbitrary executable files or write to system directories or the Windows Registry.
To check the status of protected mode, choose File > Properties > Advanced > Protected Mode.
Protected mode is enabled by default. To turn off protected mode:
    1 Choose Edit > Preferences.
2 In the Categories list on the left, select General.
3 Deselect Enable Protected Mode at startup.

  • Small box for update Acrobat Adobe reader

I keep receiving a small box on the lower right side of my computer stating that there is an update for the Acrobat Adobe Reader almost every day.  I  downloaded it on my HP Pavilion laptop and my laptop went haywire.  I had to do a system restore.  I believe that a rep should check into this and please advise me via email.  Thank you, Bob Macchia

Most likely that is  not from Adobe, nor in any way connected with Adobe Reader.
    What is your operating system?
What is your installed Reader version?
Can you post a screenshot of that notification box?  See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933

  • Acrobat Adobe Reader XI cloud space

How much storage space is available in the Acrobat cloud (I have the free version of Acrobat Adobe Reader XI)?
Also: How can I know how much memory I have used up?

    Hi Robin88,
Adobe Acrobat.com offers 5 GB of free online storage but you cannot upload audio or video files including Adobe’s own Flash video format. You may however store PDFs, Office documents, images, Adobe formats (like Photoshop, Illustrator) and SWF files.
For those who have not bought the subscription, the storage limit is upto 2GB

  • Deploying Acrobat / Adobe Reader plug_ins

I developed a plug_in for Acrobat and the Reader. For deployment I made an Windows installer, which copies it into the plug_ins folder. This works well. But I the user updates the Reader from 8 to 9 or 10 , the installation folder changes from "Adobe\Reader 8.0" to "Adobe\Reader 9.0". The problem is now that the deinstallation from my plug_in does not work anymore. That's because the name of the parent folder has changed, and my installer has no chance to detect this change.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a solution for that?
Thanks for help or some hints.

    What is your operating system?
    What is your Firefox version?
    What is your Reader version?
I have just tried to load an online PDF on Firefox 3.6 with Reader 10.1: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/pdfs/PlatformClients_PC_WWEULA-MULTI-20110809_1357.pdf - it took about 10 seconds to completely load and display.  (The doc has more than 300 pages.)

  • Bug? - Spaces missing when copying from Adobe Reader

I have found that when attempting to copy text from some documents (in Adobe Reader)on IOS, to paste into a writer program, that all the spaces are missing.
There is not aproblem with the same document / Adobe reader on my Windows PC.
There was also not a problem copying from the same document using another reader (ios FileBrowser native reader), then pasting.
I quick Google found that I was not alone...
    https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/plaintext/2Bs49s1K9_o/KTwelaiqEIsJ
This link lays out the issue, not common to all IOS PDF readers, with a solution: use another reader.
Is there a solution for this in Adobe Reader, or how can it be reported to Adobe?

There are no spaces there. That is not how pdf files are constructed. HOWEVER, on PCs and Macs, the applications are smart enough to figure that spaces should be inserted into the text being copied. The iOS app is not smart enough to figure out on certain pdfs that it should insert spaces on copying from those problemsome pdfs. Adobe does have a feature request/bug reporting form where you can report the problem:

  • How do I send a PDF fillable form from Adobe Reader Acrobat?

I just installed Adobe Reader in my iPad to send a fillable form but as I sent it out the form is received blank by the recipient.  How do I save the PDF fillable form and send it out with the filled out information.  I am able to save it in Acrobat but for some reason I send the form but the recipient receives it blank.  What can I do?  Thank you for your help.

Your recipient needs to use Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to reliably view a filled form. Chances are they are using a third-party, substandard PDF reader like Apple Preview. Adobe Reader is a free download; if necessary, you could provide them a link from the Adobe website.
