Bug found: Purchases on iTunes Wifi do not deduct from Giftcards

Ok...
So only had the toy for a few hours. However, I think I might have already found a bug with it. Anyone else tried purchasing music that with credits from promotions or giftcards. I have 35 Song Credits on iTunes, but just tried purchasing a song on the iTouch and found it did not deduct my credits. Ouch, not cool.

I also have a gift card dredit right now. I've bought a few songs on wi-fi and what i've found is that once you sync your ipod to your computer, itunes should deduct the amount from your store credit, not your credit card. when i did this it didn't show that it deducted right away, but when i clicked on my account name (in the topright corner) to view my account, it was deducted. and my e-mail receipt said it was charged to store credit.

Each time that you add or change the credit card details on your account a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

What then happens when you try to make a purchase e.g. do you get any error messages ?

Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your Wi-Fi option on an iPhone 4S is greyed out. The following article explains this issue and potential resolution:

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.

It is not being deducted from your credit? Are you sure?
Just because it is asking for your cc info, does not mean that it will be charged.
This is how itunes verifies your account and that you are a resident of the country of the itunes store that you are trying to use.

My iTune Match does not pass from step 1

My iTunes Match does not pass from step 1. Every time I start it I get an error msg (4010). Does anybody knows whats the problem?

FOUND SOLUTION TO EMAIL ISSUE - "message not downloaded from server"

It took me 4 days to figure it out but there is a solution to the problem "the messsage has not been downloaded from server" and "the message has no content".
I do not have to set up "push" accounts from yahoo or gmail and it works with my corporate email.

I'm not a computer technician, and if you were to give me a few days looking at the problem, i'm sure I or anyone else could provide a solution. I'm not too bothered about the message appearing 50% of the time as i'm usually within easy reach of a Laptop or PC or can find another method to get access to my email.

Absences not deducted from Absence Quota for One Employee

Dear Friends,
I am facing an issue for one employee, when I recorded an Annual Leave absence to him, it is not updated in his Absence quotas infotype. But this is working fine for all other employees in the same employee group/subgroup grouping.
But for Sick Leave absence type, it is updating in his absence quota records...
I have checked the counting rules, deduction rules, base entitlement rules and other configuration settings.......It is fine and for other employees belonging to the same grouping, it is working fine, except this employee...
I couldn't understand what will be the reason? Can anyone shed light on this issue?

I am checking the absence is deducted or not from his entitlement in the infotype 2006 after running the payroll for that month......
The employee has taken leave on last month and the payroll is also run for that month.......This Absence is not deducted from his quota......
I have checked for another employee in this department, no error/issue with that employee.......Only with this employee I am facing problem.....
I found -
1. The Absence Quota balance which is present in Infotype 2006 is not the same which is displayed in Remuneration Statement ( leave balance is displayed in payslip for every employee)
2. Annual leave is not deducted from the employee's entitlement where as sick leave is deducted. I have checked the deduction rule too for this grouping, it is right.No issues in that.
3. Absence Quota generation also produced different results when run time evaluation thru PT60.....which is not according to the entitlement to this employee grouping that too for this employee only.
Or Friend, can you tell me some other option, to overcome this issue.....instead of repairing this all the time.......

We are maintaining the EE & ER contribution.
EE is working fine with all the validation & deducting from employee every month.
When we are handling ER contribution that amount is getting deducted from EE sal.
So we want to restrict ER contribution Deducting from employee sal and not to display in Payslip.
Figuring out how can we handle this thru Processing, Cumulating or Evaluation class.
Kindly advise

The problem is with an item in the 'Latest Purchases' section. When I click on 'Report a Problem' it takes me to the support page. I have gone to the link you provided many times... so far it always says to check again in a few minutes and never works.
I would really like to hear back from Apple directly and get some assistance with this issue.

Song purchased from itunes wifi does not transfer back to pc in manual mode

Hi one and all....heres a little poser. brought a song from itunes (wifi) but it does not transfer to itunes on the pc when I hook up my ipod touch. I have to manually fill my pod as I have to much groovy music. When I check the music on the pod its there but it does not show when I link it up to itunes...so I cannot even drag it into my music folder..I expect it would work if I was in full sycn mode but too much music . Any ideas??

I purchased songs on two different iTouches at different times. Both iTouches had the same device name. Now I have two Purchased on folders with the same name, each with their respective songs purchased on the seperate iTouches. It looks a little weird.

Itunes wifi sync not working on windows 8!!

Does itunes wifi sync works on windows 8? Because i already have enabled wifi sunc but after i disconnect the cable from the ilhone it doesnt aloud me to do sync via wifi. Does anyone know how to make it work properly on windows 8?

Interesting. I still haven't had any problems with iTunes 10.7 under Windows 8 Pro, including adding music files purchased from a 3rd party source (Amazon) and buying an album through iTunes. iTunes successfully matched the Amazon-purchased MP3's, and I was able download the iTunes AAC's to replace them. The only thing not typical about my set-up that I can think of is that I have iTunes installed on my B: drive--both the program files and the iTunes Media folder--not on my C: drive (an SSD). My library sounds about the same size as yours (~4,000 songs).
(My only Windows 8 problem has been with DVD playback and the Windows 8 Store Netflix and Hulu apps. It looks like the new AMD graphics card drivers don't seem to be passing HDCP tests under Windows 8. There are simple work-arounds--watching Netflix or Hulu in a web browser--so at this point, I'm just waiting.)

ITunes Wifi Could Not Play Preview

Hi all
My iPhone is exhibiting some odd behavior. The iPhone's Safari, Google Maps, applications, etc. work great on my home wifi network. However, I am experiencing two problems with iTunes and Youtube apps. First, in the iTunes Wifi store, for example, I can browse songs and even purchase/download them. However, I am not able to play a preview. Each time I tap a song to hear the preview, I get the error message "Could Not Play Preview." Second, in the YouTube application, I can browse videos, but as soon as I select one to view, I get the error message, "This movie could not be played." This problem happens consistently on my home WiFi network. Oddly, both features work fine on EDGE or on a different WiFi network.
Therefore, I have narrowed the issue down to my wireless router, but the router works great! I have never had any problems with it until these isolated iTunes WiFi store and Youtube problems. So, you're probably saying to yourself, well, you should really be on a Linksys forum right now. But, because these are isolated issues on the iPhone, I thought this would be the best place to try first.
Has anyone seen this problem before? Does anyone have a solution? Is there a port or something I need to open on the router or on the iPhone? I would appreciate any help. Below are my phone and wireless router stats.
iPhone (1st generation)
Latest firmware (2.0.2)
No 3rd party alterations
Linksys BEFW11S4 V2.0 wireless router
Latest firmware (that I can tell)
Broadcasting with MAC Address filter

Dropping Purchases on iTunes WiFi Music Store

When I've purchased a song on the WiFi store I get prompted for my password, it then downloads a couple hundred KBs and comes up with a dialog saying "All iTunes downloads have been completed on your computer".
This is really frustrating as I use the WiFi store so I can listen to songs instantly instead of waiting until the weekend to use my Mac at home. Am stuck using a PC for college

That was seriously the weirdest f*ing thing I have ever seen. I literally looked one more time on iTunes WIFI store and there they were. But, I swear to god they were not there 10 minutes ago when I posted this, and I have never seen them before until now.

I have an i4phone 4s and an iPad 2nd generation that suddenly music I've purchased and downloaded from the iTunes store is not syncing to my phone or ipad. I keep getting error notices that multiple songs I'm trying to sync "can not be converted"! Originally out of 400 songs on my apple products 1/2 wouldn't "convert" then each time I sync'd it would "convert" a few more now I've have probably 25 songs that are on my phone, are in my purchase history on my phone in iTunes but will not play and skip to the next song or several songs down the play list. When I pull up my account on iTunes, music that I've purchased recently doesn't show in my purchases but shows in my purchases in my iPhone/iPad. Oh, and yes, I've wiped the phone several times and tried to recover to an older version without success as it continues to want to upgrade me to 8.1.2 which is junk!
Is anyone else having this problem but me?
