Bug : ibook on IOS7 and ipad 2 very very slow with pdf
today i try ibook and iOS7 and large pdf file (500 pages with a few photos) ibook take 10 or 15 seconds and more to load a page it's usefull.
it wasn't on IOS6 it seems to have a big bug with pdf preview? another apps " larousse patisserie" have the same slow down issue (will it use pdf page too)??
please report it quickly... if you have an idea?

Bonsoir j'imagine que tu parle français j'ai le même problème je ne sais pas quoi faire j'ai envoyer un message à Larousse pâtisserie pas de réponse et en plus il vienne de supprimer l'application sur App Store quoi faire depuis l'iOS 7 il déconne il faudrait voir si on essaye avec un iOS 6 sa marche mais c'est dégueulasse quand même quand sa marche pas y'a plus personne questure en pense ? Tu crois qu'on peut faire quelque chose :-(

And when you try to sync an ibook from your Mac's iTunes to your iPad what happens ? You've selected the iPad device's Books tab and on that have selected the book(s) that you want to sync to the iPad ? -
Hi - I'm trying to sync iBooks on my Macbook Pro with iBooks running on my iPad. I have some pdf's download from the net I want to share between devices and I can't work out how to sync the two devices. Any help please? I'm running Mavericks
Thanks for your help Brij011 - much appreciated. Apologies as I'm a newbie but I've looked at the info for synching and I appear to have all the switches flicked on my iPad. Does the iPad and iBooks only sync in iCloud for purchases as I appear to be doing something wrong. I could sync ok when books was in iTunes but since migrating to Mavericks I think I'm doing something wrong!!

we have a mac laptop and dont have any problems with pdf files but our imac will not open them. any suggestions?
Back up all data.
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -

IPhone and iPad connected but not with iCloud??
When I updated to iOS 6.1, I was asked if I wanted to connect all devices. My mistake was selecting yes!
I have an iPhone and iPad I just got for Christmas; I was using the same email on both devices for iMessages but I hate receiving all messages on both devices.
So, I tried to change my email for iMessages on the iPad but when I tried to delete my current email, I received a message that says I will no longer be able to receive emails on any device!
How can I undo this? Please help!!If the process isn't finishing for you there's not a lot you can do to force it. Perhaps a visit to the nearest Genius Bar? I don't know. Sorry I can't offer more constructive advice.
How long are you waiting on step 2? Depending on the size of your library and the speed of your internet it can take a few minutes, a few hours or even days. -

My iPod Touch and iPad will not sync with iTunes, Windows crashes
I have done the latest upgrade on software for itunes, upgraded the software on both my ipod touch and ipad and now itunes will not sync. As soon as it starts the syncing process I get a pop up window (I'm on Windows XP) that says that there's an error and itunes has to shut down. I ran the diagnostics test and it says there's no error. Not sure what to do now.

I am traveling to the Philippines next week and am confused on whether I need to buy a converter to be able to charge my Iphone (and Ipad). I was told I did not as the chargers were universal and automatically converted anywhere from 100 to 240v depending on what you plug into.
I would just like some more confirmations if any one has traveled internationally.
Thank you.No, but most international airports I have been to have convenience stores that sell the plug adapters. And there are always other shops with the adapters so it is easy to get exactly what you need after you get there.

I brought a new computer is there any way to put the items that i have on my iphone and ipad in my itunes. I know the music and apps i paid for but what about the songs and photos. that are not paid for. and having it sync with out it telling me that it has to erase all my things.

IPhone 4s and iPad is not syncing with iCal
I have iCloud enabled and iPhone, iPad, and Mac Mini. My iPhone and iPad calendars are synced perfectly. My Mac Mini does not show the same calendar events as iPhone and iPad. When I create an event on iPad or iPhone it will not show in iCal. If I create an event in iCal it will show on iPhone and iPad. I turned off iCloud on Mac Mini and turned it on again and that didn't solve the problem. Not sure if this is contributing to the problem but I have (12) "untitled" calendars on my Mac Mini iCal. I would ultimately like to clean up iCal and use my iPhone calendar as the master calendar to do so.
