Bug in default photo lib. application (iPad2)

Hello, today took photos of my daughter. Usually I take HD photos from a professional camera and transfer them to a default photo library to view and store for good. But I've discovered a bud when viewing photos when full zoomed out: right in the middle of the screen you may see a line from the top to the bottom, almost like the photo is split in a half and pieces overlap. Really annoying. If you zoom in and then zoom out again it disappears, but still, I qualify it as a bug. Because now it is impossible to just flip the photos to view it properly. You have to zoom in and out every time. I even made screenshots, but I guess this isn't a place to attach them. :(
See it for yourself. Try HD photos and flip them, you'll see what I'm talking about.
QUESTION: Who do I have to write to, in order for this bug to be included into next SW update?
Many thanks in advance!
Aleksey

  • Photo uploading from ipad2.

Can you upload photos from the ipad2 to say, Facebook or other websites? I have a MacBook but can't get it online, the airport isn't working. I have transferred pics to the iPad for uploading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can.  First you'll want to get the application for wherever you want to upload to -- Facebook as an example.
Then you can log in to your account, and from your wall it should let you click the photo button and choose to upload a photo from your album.
Friendly for iPad is a very good Facebook substitute.  I'm sure others have their favorite apps as well.

  • Photoshop Elements as Default Photo Viewer

I have successfully installed Photoshop Elements 4.0. Now I would like to make it my "default" photo viewer--i.e. when I open a photo, I would like it to be in Photo Shop rather than the previous application, which was the Microsoft Photo viewer that came pre-installed on my computer. I haven't been able to find information in the Adobe help section and FAQs on how to do this. Can anyone help me?

Most people want to know how to keep PSE from being the default viewer. :) Actually, the default viewer is a Windows function and not controlled by Elements, but it's an easy thing to change.
Find one of the image files on your hard drive of the type you want to have open automatically in Elements, e.g. all JPEG files. Right click on the image icon and go to Choose Program to Open. If Elements doesn't show on the list, there is a place at the bottom where you can view other program options. Select PSE 4.0 as the default viewer, and also make sure you choose the option to apply the change to all files of the same type. You'll have to do the same thing for each file format, like PSD, TIFF, etc.

  • Default Photos Show on AppleTV when Paused

I have family photos play on sceen saver (flickr). Recently, AppleTV, defaults to the internal photos when the screen saver comes up during a Netflix pause. Anyone  else experiencing this bug?

Still happens more often than not the screen saver Flickr photos are replaced with Apples default photos.

  • ITunes can't find my photo lib when synching iPhone

I have my photo lib on an external hard drive (Time Capsule) which I connect to over wireles (although I have tried connecting via patch cable - no help).  iPhoto works fine in this configuration and up until recently, so did iTunes.  It's slower synching over wireless, but it's worked for some time.  I believe this problem started after my last iTunes update but it could have been after the last OSX update.
Now, when I connect my iPhone and attempt to sync with iTunes, if I go to the Photos tab, I get the spining wait forever - never finishes.  I can't sync my iPhone in this state becase it gets to the photo synch part, hangs for a while then quits and say the synch failed.
Is there any way to tell iTunes where to look for my iPhoto lib?  I see where I can change the media folder in iTunes prefs under Advanced, but that's where my music lives and I can't change that.
    Thanks for any insight,
    -Jeff
    2008 MacBook Pro OSX 10.9.2
    iTunes 11.1.5
    iPhone 4 iOS 7.1

Yes, I'm still having this problem and am unable to sync my iPone with iTunes.
I'm not sure if iTunes 11.1.5 expects to find an iPhoto library under its "media folder" now but, if so, I could create a symlink to mine on the other drive.  [I know, not a solution since it's a network link, but might be a temporary workaround]
Are there any Apple people monitoring these discussions?  How do I file a bug with Apple?
I'm sure this problem isn't mine alone.  Yes, I have an old laptop, but Mavricks run on it, and yes, I have a non-standard config for iPhoto but, since the photo lib can get quite large, I'm sure I'm not the only one using NAS for storage.
Things used to "just work".  That's why I changed everything over to Apple products -- they all played well with each other and I didn't have to spend hours playing sys admin.
    What happened?
    Anyone?

  • Unable to delete photos from my ipad2 .

I am unable to delete photos from my ipad2. I am able to select the photos to delete but when I press the red delete button nothing happens. Is anyone else having this experience? Is there a known problem. Is there a solution?

You don't say what type of photos - were they taken with the iPad or synced from your computer ?
Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/wesites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by removing them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing (if you were able to delete them directly on the iPad, then the next time you synced photos they would be put back onto the iPad, unless you remembered to also remove them from your computer).

  • How to add one or two photos without synchronise my 8240 photos on my ipad2

How to add one or two photos without synchronize my 8240 photos on my ipad2 or iPhon4 ?
    Thank you

Just add the photos to the folders/location that you last synced and sync them - as only the contents of the last photo sync remains on the iPad, you have to (re-)sync all the photos that you want on the iPad. In theory only the new photos will need processing by the sync process, so it shouldn't take a long time to sync (it hasn't for me when I've added a few to my 1500 photos in the past anyway). Not including photos in a sync is how you remove them from the iPad.
Your alternative is to email them to yourself and then save them from the email, but they will only go into the Saved Photos/Camera Roll album - come iOS 5 in the Autumn you should then be able to move photos between albums.

  • My ipad2 is only allowing me to email 30 sec clips of a video that I made which is saved in Photos on my iPad2. How can I get it to email the entire video?

My iPad2 is only allowing me to email 30 sec clips of a video that I made which is saved in Photos on my iPad2. How can I get it to email the entire video?

It is most likely a size issue. I have a 3 minute video that's almost 200 megs. If you're just trying to show it, you might consider youtube. if you're wanting to upload/share it then you can try things like Dropbox or other onlilne file sharing programs.

Often asked, but that feature retains the last used local setting.
You can however, change the default for Documents, individually, in their Properties > Advanced tab

The Note worries me. If you only replaced ordim.zip and
ordhttp.zip with ordim817.zip and ordhttp817.zip, and the app ran
successfully, this means you were using 817 version of JDBC
classes12.zip and 817 verion of SQLJ runtime12.zip. But you said
you were trying to use the oracle 9i.
Please put Oracle 9i version JDBC classes12.zip, 9i SQLJ
    runtime12.zip, 9i interMedia ordim.zip and ordhttp.zip in the
CLASSPATH. Then, recompile and run. Hope this will solve the
    problem.

  • LR3 seems to be set as my "default" photo editor. Don't want that!

Can anyone tell me where I can change what my default photo editor to what I want. Each time I plug anything that MIGHT have a photo on it activates LR3 causing me to wait until it fully launches and then I have to cancel the import process and then go to file and exit.
My LR3 window is a little two large for the screen and I can't see the red X or the min. button or any other options. I also can't see/find the tools that should show up on the left side of the window. The screen resolution is set an the recommended for my computer and all other programs, but I guess I haven't tried to change it to resolve this issue.
If anyone can give me a suggestion to resolve the software opening without being commanded to, and how to see the tools, etc please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Scott

I have tried those. I got a tutorial on LR3 from Phil Steele, and when his screen is displayed it has different tools in a white background down the left side of the window. I am going to try calling tech support and see what they say. If anyone has another idea I'd appreciate a response,
    Thanks,
    Scott
