some people have some trouble posting message since the update try on weekend.

I absolutely agree with you. I know that the forum software is not developed by Oracle, still some words of explanation from the OTN guys is definitely in place, especially about the loss of data.

Error posting new messages in Discussion Forum Portlet.

I've installed the Discussion Forum Portlet from the Integration Tools version 9.0.4.0. I'm trying to post a message but I'm getting the following error:
'Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using request parameter: 000100000004313530350000003E000000F95C4B5E59.' I've deleted the posting and reposted but the same error keeps coming up.
Any ideas?

Unable to send/post new messages

I am a new member in the community and was trying to send a posting/message and noticed I could not access the "new message" feature. I am logged in and am still not able to access. Please advise. Thanks

Exception while posting a message using SOAP adapter

We are getting the following message while posting a SOAP request through SOAP adapter through Http Client. The error message is

I am trying to post a SOAP message but I keep getting this error. Can anybody help me on this. I tried using ALTOVA spy and SOAP Ui but the result is the same error.

Scenario is SOAP Sender and IDOC reciever.

I tried reconfiguring also.
When I test from Integration Engine in RWB using the test message it is sucsseful. Infact I can see the IDOC too.
But when the basis guy tested with Adapter engine in RWB using the test tool, it gives the following error:

Failed to determine a receiver agreement for the given message. Any idea where is the problem.
When we tried the WSN step we are facing this error in the very first step.
WSDL1.1, WSDL 2.0 definition element expected. Found [html: null] .

The system issues error message AA 813 when you enter an investment support.

Reason and Prerequisites
For the posting, the system uses a transaction type that does not match the investment measure.
Solution
When defining an investment measure, the system creates relevant transaction types. In these transaction types, the last two characters of the investment measure are encrypted.
For the investment measure, the system therefore creates, for example, the transaction types
I51 (Transaction type for claiming investment support)
K51 (Transaction type for claiming investment support prior-year acquisitions)
J51 (Transaction type for extraordinary clearing of investment support prior-year acquisitions)
For consistency reasons, you can post the investment support area that belongs to the investment measure 51 only with the investment support transaction data in which the investment measure is encrypted. You must note this restriction if you also create separate transaction types for entering investment support.

Scrolling through message thread while typing new message....

Prior to iOS7 when I typed a long text I could press edit while typing to scroll up to see the previous message. Now once I've filled the screen I can't find anyway to go back and look at the previous message until I've pressed send... I type a lot of long messages and it's annoying to not be able to see what I'm replying too..... Anyone know how to do this ? Thanks....

I thought so too but apparently you can read them. You just swipe the tiny bar above the message you're typing down (underneath the name of the person you're texting with) and you can re-read your messages

How does Thunderbird post the 'new message' notice on my Mac?

I am trying to determine the service Thunderbird uses to post 'new message' notification pop-ups at the upper right of my terminal (they appear to be posted in the main menu of the system).
Actually, some other app has rarely posted similar pop-ups .... but they don't persist long enough for me to read, so I'm really trying to find out if these pop-ups are logged anywhere that I can inspect.
Thunderbird didn't generate the pop-ups, but knowing how it generates them may help me
I'm still running OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) on my 1st gen intel mac, so I started my inquiry in the apple snow leopard forum where I was told that a pop-up service wasn't native in Snow Leopard, but some apps, including apple mail and Thunderbird, used Growl to post the pop-ups. A search of Thunderbird's add-ons ... and indeed a search (using the System Profiler) of apps, extensions and frameworks did not reveal anything with 'growl' in its name.
So .... I'm not really having trouble with Thunderbird, but if someone knows how it invokes the 'new message' pop-up in the main menu, maybe there's a place where such messages get logged and I can inspect it to view the pop-ups (from another app) that are disappearing too quickly for me to read.
Anyone have any helpful info?

If your Send / button icons are missing in new messages in Mail, do this

I was mystified as to why the button icons (for Send, Attach, etc) were suddenly missing from my "new message" email windows. The text descriptions were still there, so i could use the functions, but they were in tiny text, more difficult to click on. Trying to drag the icons back on from the view/customize toolbar menus (as was suggested in prior discussions i found here here) did not work.
Then i noticed a drop-down menu called "Show" in the bottom left of the View> Customize Toolbar window (opened directly from a New Message window). It toggles whether you see Text Only, Icons and Text, or Icons Only. Mine was somehow set to Text Only. Just toggling it to Text and Icons brought my buttons back.
I don't know how that preference got changed- i didn't do it, and no one else has access to my Mac- and it looks from Discussions like this has happened to others, and only while in New Message (a glitch?).
This is the simple but not immediately apparent fix.

Thanks Bernd: I am using Adobe Acrobat 10 Pro. I did get a response from Dave Marchant which directed me how to find the layers icon and I found the options icon as suggested in Adobe Help. However, the options do not allow me to choose an option of either merging layers or flattening layers. I am a novice at this and am trying to get this 1-page pdf graphic to convert to a Word document. Is it possible that I already have a single layer pdf and that Word is doing something weird during the conversion? I tried to convert the document yesterday and I ended up with two pages in Word. One page had the text boxes and one had the river channels on which the text boxes had been inserted. This is not a document I created. We have been struggling for 5 years at various times to get this one page document into Word so that it can be used in multiple reports. Even the graphics departments at a couple of companies have not been able to get this document resized from the original 11 x 17 format into 8.5 x 11. I managed to get that done yesterday. But now can't get a useable version into Word. Suggestions?

My iPhone isn't directing me properly to messages since I moved to the UK from Canada. When I receive a new iMessage it opens a 'new message' thread to their number in a UK format rather than directing me to the established thread under their name.

I moved to the UK a week ago and popped a new SIM in my unlocked iPhone 4 (all the latest software installed, 6.1.3, though I see in the drop-down below that there's a .4? My phone says it is up to date anyway). Since then, I have done a lot of texting to people back home in Canada. Of course, for economical reasons, I am using iMessage. When I'm talking to them, if I have messages open, and my screen hasn't gone to sleep, then I'm fine. But if the screen goes to sleep or I'm doing something else and I try to reply by way of any sort of notification where the phone redirects me to the message (when I tap a banner or unlock while an alert is showing), instead of sending me to where I can reply, it starts a whole new text message with the person's phone number in a UK format instead of their contact name. Their message is in the iMessage conversation history where it belongs, but I can't read it in full until I cancel the 'New Message' and open their conversation in the Messages list.
So far, I have tried:
-Simple things like restarting my phone, resetting it, etc.
-Changing the format of their number to include country code, to not include country code, to have the plus, to not have it, etc.
-Changing where my messages come from, be it my phone number or my iCloud, etc.
-Updating iCloud to make sure it knows I'm in the UK.

-Erasing all content and settings and restoring my phone from a backup.

Warning message while posting Credit Memo.

Currently the Invoice shows a soft warning message if a same number
in Reference field (XBLNR) is used to post two different inovices.
the client wants the same kind of Soft message to be appeared in case of a same number is used in the Reference Field when Posting credit memo. I think the check shd be against Accounting Doc right??
Incase of invoice we have a check for duplicate invoice in SPRO and we can maintian it..
What about credit Memo??? we do have any config...to my knowledge we need technical development.
In Se91 i will go and create new Message and assign it to M8(Message Class for invoice)........and do assignments in OBA5
Now the soft warning msg can be achieved only by calling this msg in ABAP Code right??? can be done thru Config..?????.
if any other details if i need to know please do let me know.....or anyother suggestions....to achieve this,,,

In OBA7 if i check the "Reference number" that means while entering the document the reference number is compulsory field.
and in vendor master i already checked the docueble invoce check that is why while posting KR it is giving the warning message.

Company code 5000 manages parallel currencies in Asset Accounting. For
each area that posts automatically online to FI, you have to define one
dependent depreciation area that adopts both identical values and
depreciation terms from depreciation area 01, and which is assigned to
currency type 30 and currency INR. There is no depreciation area of this
type defined for depreciation area 01.
Procedure
Check your Customizing settings.
I am posting to Co Code 5000 in currency RMB and getting the error while postings,while my co code currency is RMB and Group Currency is INR.

Diagnosis
    You tried to change depreciation area 15 in company code 9000 and chart
    of depreciation 1000 in order to manage parallel currencies.
    However, assets with values already exist in depreciation area 15.
    Therefore, you cannot change the currency type in depreciation area 15.
Procedure
    If your company code has test status, you can reset the company code and
    all the asset values in it.
Please advice how do i proceed
