Bug in transporting entries interfaces on rsxmb_arch_interfaces

I have a bug in transporting interfaces from report rsxmb_arch_interfaces quality to prod system.
in system production after this transport. i have the interfaces in double. is it normal?
in my mind if i transport something from quality to prod. in final i should have same interfaces in both of sytems.
can anyone help me.

Hi,
Use The Program SAPCTS_TOOLS.
Then Click On Change Object Directory Entries Under Object Directory-->Enter FORM Under DTEL(DATA Element)
Select The Check Box And Give The Object Name-->Execute.
Click On the Form and Then Click On Object directory Button.

In The se11 menu Utilities-->table maintenance generator-->if u already created table maintenance generator then in the tab DIALOG DATA TRANSFER DETAILS check the radio button STANDARD RECORDING ROUTINE.
Then when ever u save the data in the table it will pop up a screen to create a Transport request.

Partner block entry interface in PCUI

Hi,
I want to make sure that the partners entered in the partner tab are restricted i.e only one partner maximum can be entered for a partner function say sold to party and for attendees he can enter upto maximum 10 and if more are entered then it should restrict them.
I have given the maximum and minimum settings and also block entry on interface but they do not work in PCUI.
can any body let me know.

Sorry i could not reply back in time as i was not able to access internet and i am working for activity application and am using my own defined partner functions copied from the standard.
like Attendee copied from Attendee partner standard function.
I have given the settings @ the back end for the block entry interface and it works fine in GUI but not in PCUI.

Transport entries of a table

I want to transport a entry of a ztable from Dev server to QA. My intention is to do it thru se16->table entries-> transport entries
Now there are two tables ztable1 and ztable2 with apparently same settings.
But for the first table the above option is not getting enabled but for the second table the same option is enabled.
Has it anything to do with TMG?

Since both are Z tables then please check in SE11 under the Delivery and Maintenance tab
whether the condition 'Display/Maintenance Allowed' is set or not. I think for this type only you can create the transport request.

Transport Entries in SID Table

Hello....
Is there any way that I can transport the entries in the SID Table, Master Data Table for infoobject from dev to q? I perform the transport for the text table for that infoobject and I managed to transport over but the SID Table for that infoobject is not updated, the table is empty. Thanks!

Hi,
You can not transport the data like that from system to system. The best thing you can do is to download the data from one system into a csv file and load it into the next system using a flat file interface. Hope this helps.

Bug report: vpn (ipsec) interface number in snmp always change

Hi,
this is a bug report for RV082 hardware version 3 and 4, firmware version 1.x, 2.x and 4.x (all latest versions). I hope someone from cisco/belkin reads it.
Summary:
The snmp interface number of a VPN Tunnel change when the VPN tunnel disconnect and then re-connects.
What should happend:
The VPN Tunnel number 1, should always have the same snmp interface number. In RV082 v4, this number should always be 10. For example, the LAN, WAN1 and WAN2 always have the same snmp interface number.
What is the problem:
The VPN Tunnel number 1 change the snmp interface number, from 10, to 11, to 12, etc.
How to reproduce:
create a VPN Tunnel using 2 RV082 or 1 RV082 and 1 RV042. Once the VPN Tunnel is connected write down the snmp interface number. A few days later, disconnect the cable of block internet access. Then restore the internet conection and write down the snmp interface number, you should note that the snmp interface number have changed.
Tools used:
PRTG Network Monitor
Please take a look at the attached image, note all the "ppp" interfaces, theres only 1 VPN Tunnel (gateway-to-gateway) defined.

I see that I have to call Tech-support, in order to report a very technical situation, explaining them this is a bug report and I want them to make a better product.
Since I won't pay a dime for this problem to be fixed, I can only see pain in this path(calling to speak with a tech support representative).
I also readed that Belkin has bought Linksys, so I don't know if the RV082 will remain with Cisco or will go with Belkin.
So, my only hope is to document this bug, that is pressent inall firmware version and hardware version of the RV082 as of today.

Error while transporting class interface

hi,
i have developed class interfaces where i'm using a z-structure(eg ZBMTBATCH) for type definition in public section.
The interface is activated and is working fine is development server.
when i transported it in quality, the transport req failed showing error " ZBMTBATCH not found".
This structure is a trans table and is activated.
Same type of error occured in transport req of all other class interface . only difference is the structure.
The class interface throwing this error has one common similarity, the error it is throwing is for the first declaration.
i mean in public section if declaration is of type :
tbatch type ZBMTBATCH
than in transport log its throwing error as "ZBMTBATCH not found"
please suggest some reasons

Are u transporting the Structure also together with the Class.
If not first add the Structure to a TR and move it to Quality system. Then Re transport the TR with Classes.

Photoshop bug: cs6 and cc: interface freeze, no reaction

we discovered a potential bug or issue in photoshop:
under daily working conditions, 8h per day, during the last months/year i can observe the following behavior:
suddenly, at any action, the photoshop interface (all palettes, windows, everything) freezes and doesnt react on any mouse or button command. can wait for minutes, nothing happens.
found workaround: switch to finder by clicking with mouse pointer into the finder desktop,
and switch back to photoshop > interface is back and reacts again, everythings fine.
condition of bug: very annoying but can live with it so far through my workaround
frequenzy: several times a day (up to 20 or 30 times per day)
- reproduceable on mac osx 10.7 + 10.8 + 10.9
- reproduceable with photoshop cs6 and cc
- reproduceable on 3 different macs at 2 different working places so far
- mac pro 2006, mac pro 2012, imac late 2013 with each mac 48GB RAM or at least 32GB RAM (imac)
- reproduceable with 8 bit and 16 bit files, .psd and .psb
any idea?

If I remember correctly, and that is not always the case, I think that is a bug in Apple OS. Currently the cursor just dissapears and you have to do what you say to get it back.

IOS 4.2.1 auto-correction bug in gmail web interface

Seems to be a bug in 4.2.1, relating to auto-correction of spelling errors within the gmail web interface (i.e. within safari)...
Whenever I'm typing, if I make a spelling error for which auto-correction suggests an alternative, attempting to cancel the auto-correct by hitting the little X icon next to the suggested word has no effect - the suggestion stays there... the only things that can be done are to either (a) backspace and retype the word correctly, or (b) hit space and allow the erroneous correction to be made.
Auto-correct appears to work fine for other sites accessed within Safari, and also other apps... seems to just be isolated to the gmail web interface (at least as far as I'm experiencing atm)
Anyone else noticing this? Any workarounds or fixes suggested?

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem on an iPad running iOS 4.2.1 (8C148)--- exactly as you described: I can't cancel individual autocorrections. This is a major problem with typing on the iPad, because it's hard to be precise with the keyboard, but technical words need to be canceled. It happens in gmail, but not some other text boxes in Safari, such as this one.

Enkitec Navbar - possible bug: conditional list entries.

I think I have found a bug in the Enkitec Navbar (latest version 1.2.0 on Apex 4.2)
If the "first child" item of a level 1 menu has a condition or authorization that causes the item to not render - then the rest
of the level 2 items in the submenu do not show, and the little "drop-down" (V) icon does not show on the level 1 item.
That "first child" must also have child entries (with the same condition/authorization) for the bug to appear.
E.g. If the Menu is defined as:-
Menu V
     Workspace A V
          Option 1
     Workspace B
          Option 2
     Workspace C
And "Workspace A" and "Option 1" have condition/authorization that causes it not to show, then the menu is not rendered correctly - only the top level Menu is showing, with no sub-items.

The 3 items for Workspace A-C correspond to conditions and authorization schemes that should cause the corresponding menu items to hide/show.
Submitting the page will show/hide the relevant menus.
These work correctly for Workspaces B and C.
However, it does not work when Workspace A is set to "No".
If you view the source of the page - you will notice that Workspace B and C are actually in the list - but not showing.
I think it is only the rendering of the HTML for the "Menu" that is wrong - it does not have the drop-down V icon showing.

Bug with Data Entry Limits properties

When setting programmatically the Data Entry Limit (e.g. maximum range) the value of the control is coerced (response is set to coerce). This is not supposed to be since Entry Limits are only for FP entry.
Checked in 7.1 and 8.6

I agree. This seems like a bug. I checked in 8.6.1f1 on my home PC and it does just what you say.
I also tried to see if the problem occurred on the other end of the range in setting values greater than the Max and then resetting the minimum. And it seemed to behave similiarly. I can only save that back to 8.0 Here is that modification.
I'm a little surprised no one has stumbled across this before if you say it's been around since at least 7.1 We'll see if an NI person takes a close look and agrees it's a bug and will submit a CAR# for it.

TRANSPORT ENTRIES IN TABLE TO TEST

The delivery class of your table needs to be "C". Then the table entries will be transported along with the table definition.
In your case, that table is of delivery class "A". Your data is not transportable.
if you have generated a table maintenance program for this table, then you are gonna have to do some cut/paste.

MDMGX error while Transporting entries

I Have created a port call LT_Promotions in SAP t-code MDMGX and trying to transport this in test sytem ,while i try to save the transport it errors with message
"Key entry for table MDMGXC1 may only be generic"
Dont know what this is ..
Will you Please let me know how can i go around this..

   This error happens if there are wrong entries in MDMGXC1 table. go to this table and maintain the ports and check tables.
Ports would be the ports of MDM where you want the data to be present. check tables are the tables from where you want to extract the data.
Mandatory details to be entered in MDMGXC1 are as below
Remote System Type - Remote system type in which the generic extractor is used.
Object Type -Object type for which you want to extract reference data.
Port Name - Code of the target MDM port.
Table Name - Name of a table.
Language - Independent Fields -Field names of language-independent fields to be extracted.
SQL Constraint - SQL constraint or selection criteria for selecting data from the table
The syntax to be followed is as below
Table Name - Name of a table.
      Example
      T005
Language - Independent Fields
    Syntax
   <Fld in R/3> = <Fld in MDM>, <Fld in R/3> = <Fld in MDM>,u2026
     Example
     LAND1=Country_key,INTCA3=Legacy_Code.
SQL Constraint
       TableName~FieldName = u2018Eu2019
      Example
        T005T~SPRAS = 'Eu2018
Note : Maintain the above values instead of uploading.

What you can do to trigger a transport -
1. Go to transaction SE80
2. Open up type BSP application
3. Go to the content page and make minor changes, such as adding a text and then removing it
4. A transport request info would pop up
And then happy transporting!
I know that there's some transport option in the page itself too... but cannot recall where it was.
