is there any feedback from oracle stuff or anyone that could help in this thread...
We are in the middle of the project and framed with unresolving problem.

Fancy...we are trying to finish product under 0$ extra expences and you suggest me to use oracle app server ....
I hope that now my standing is clear...we just want to use free software...but it is not functioning as it should (at least as is declared it should work).
AFAIK, next release of XE will be published with new major Oracle DB release (11g,h,i,j,k or any letter that will be popular in that moment) which will happened not earlier then 1.5 year in future. With this new XE version will be shipped also the most current version of Apex. So any serious Oracle developer that have to use Universal version and db_link... is in dead end.
Now we have some bitter taste ... I'm afraid as some other in our position. After all 5k$ (what cost Standard One edition) is not a little money....at least for some of us!

Please do not jump to conclusions and make assumptions here like 'when will people finally get it??'. I never said it was a benchmark. I have also seen many examples of where it's results do not go with conventional performance. I have a Radeon 9000 that goes faster on glxgears than a Geforce FX 5600 running Nouveau. Which is the faster card? The FX by miles. It is not a benchmark as it can not be compared between configurations. What I know is that on this individual system, from prior experience over many years when 3D acceleration is working glxgears gets between 300 and 400 fps. When it is not working it gets less than 10. That is a fact but does not mean it is benchmarkable. Yes, a Quake 3 timedemo (I have these numbers too and they very much correlate to glxgears performance for this system given just how slow it is) would be a benchmark but when it runs less than 0.1fps and even the 2D rendering means that navigating the menu is impossible, there just isn't the time to find out. Hence if playing around with drivers on this system I would use glxgears to check that 3D acceleration is working but not to benchmark. Glxinfo does not give you all this evidence.
But to clarify, I wouldn't use glxgears as a benchmark, benchmarking is different and I do a lot of that too.

A StorageLocation which doesn't exist anymore ...

Hi All,
I've to solve the follow problem.
In the materials management a StorageLocation doesn't exist anymore, but some materials are still associate to it.
Creating Purchase requisition (ME51N) and Purchase orders (ME21N), could I create a rule which prohibits filling a material when associated to the StorageLocation which doesn't exist anymore?
If not, is there another solution?

Hi,
In MM06 you can flag a material for deletion at different organisation levels. When giving the selection criteria, please take care and give the related SLoc.
After pushing enter mark the material for deletion ONLY at SLoc level.
My remarks:
1. It's not block, it is flag for deletion. Of course the effect is same as blocking if you set the warning message to error message.
2. You can flag your goods for deletion in mass using MM17.

Adding T-code to Role Area Menu which doesn't exist in box

We are using a SAP system called QIM which has "jumplink" functionality, which is a web based linked (NWBC) which will launch you into a ERP system transaction when clicked. For example, in QIM we will display a outbound delivery, and if we click on the link it launches VL03N from the ERP system and displays as web UI.
In PFCG under area menu, this transaction code appears under the menu, but VL03N doesn't actually existing in the system... The issue is we created a custom object for inbound delivery and we need ot add it under this area, but when we attempt to add a transaction code under the Role Area, the system says the t-code doesn't exist... Even when we try this with an existing t-code showing in the menu (Vl03N) it says it doesnt exist. Same if we look at the authorization object S_TCODE. These t-codes exist in here, but when you try to readd them they system says it doesn't exist.
Please find the attachments with some screen shots... Any idea how we can do this?

You can create a role menu as remote enabled remote menu.
The authority checks will happen on the remote side, also against objects which don't exist in the calling system as the music is on the other side.
On the RFC client system side, you only need the parameter transaction to start the remote transaction in the remote system.
See the documentation on SYST function module ABAP4_CALL_TRANSACTION.
This is however a rather antiquated technology... it is more popular to use a SAP Portal or webdynpro applications for this sort of thing (the user does not notice the difference) or later versions of such integration such as Fiori UIs or imbedded links within the Business Client.
I don't want to lean out the window too far, but the buggy phase of these new things is approaching an end and they are usable if you are on newer releases. Then you can pool the menu and use APIs for navigation and no more irritating S_TCODE checks.

Read note 1152612 - Incorrect component type in structure WRMA_S_RESULT_DATA.
The error occurs in Release BI_CONT 703 Support Package 9.
If you require an advance correction for Support Package 9, make the following manual changes if the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is inactive in your system.
1. Use transaction RSA1 to call the Data Warehousing Workbench.
2. Check whether the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG was already activated by the compilation process the first time you called transaction RSA1. You can use transaction RSD1 to check this by entering 0TCTLSTCHG in the "InfoObject" field and choosing "Display". Proceed as follows if the InfoObject is still not active:
3. Go to BI Content activation.
4. Select "Object Types".
5. Open the "InfoObjects" tree and select "Objects".
6. Search for the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG and select it.
7. Transfer the object and activate it.
These steps activate the required component type /BI0/OITCTLSTCHG. You can check again in transaction RSD1 to ensure that the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is available as active.

Create a Campaign as WBS ele. under a Project which doesn't exist in CRM

Hello Gurus,
We are trying to create a campaign as WBS element under a project definition which does not exist in CRM system as Marketing Project. We looked at the BADI CRM_MKTPL_R3_INT and could see that we can change the XML data in method CHANGE_XML_DATA. But in ECC , system is looking for GUID of the project definition and is not able to replicate the campaign as per the requirement. Please suggest a way to replicate Campaign as WBS element under a project definition which is not available as Marketing project in CRM but exists in ECC.
ECC system is looking for Project Definition guid in FM PR_assignments_pre_read.

Sure...We have a system Landscape in which Non-SAP systems communicate to SAP system.In our Scenario, the project definition (in our terminology it is called project code) is defined in non-SAP system and it gets replicated to SAP ECC and then whatever campaign that we create in SAP CRM should be created as WBS element under that project code which was replicated from non-sap system.Reporting will be done based on the project code in other systems.
For information, We are not replicating Marketing Plans to ECC.

I have changed i cloud email recently, and wanted to set up my new iphone 6 from 2 months old back up. Later I found out that icloud has old email, but it doesn't recognize password to sign out because it is not in i cloud system anymore. Now I cant turn off stupid icloud to reset my new iphone 6

The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.

How to remove a device which doesn't exist any longer

Since Snow Leopard iSync looks for my historic device Siemens S65 when syncing with MobileMe. I then removed the device from the bluetooth-list. But iSync is still searching and giving me an error alert.
In the iSynch menue you can add a new device but not remove an old one which is not connected.
The problem is, that the old Siemens S65 does not exist any longer.
Has anyone an idea?

But in addition: while syncing on my MacBook with MobileMe the process runs without starting the application iSync. On my iMac it does and after syncing it does not quit automatically.
Any explanation for that?

ORACLE 9i startup problems. Try to open dbf file which doesn't exist

I'm trying to startup one oracle instance from sqlplus.
I can mount the database but i can't open it because try to open one dbf file incorrect.
Anyone know where i can indicate wich files should use? Perhps it's in the init.ora file?

I am not sure which method rdomene used but I would think he probably used the alter database backup control file to trace command (since he could mount the db)to create a text version that he could look at.
I have head about people who did not know Oracle provided a means of dumping a text version of the control file to trace who used UNIX strings or a binary editor to see the contents.
It is unfortunat that the text version, which can be used to reconstruct the control file, does not preserve the rman data.

Deskjet F380 All in One; pdf printing to a fax printer which doesn't exist

For some reason anytime we try to print a pdf (or photo) the pc will not let us select our HP F380 All in One printer, but instead will only let us select a Fax printer. I have no idea where that would have come from as I have never faxed from this computer.
Any ideas? I have no idea if it is a problem with the printer or pc or both. Hope someone has some suggestions.

The F380 has no wireless capabilities - so using the usb cable is mandatory if you want to print from your G72.
If you still want to print wireless
what you could do is to buy a printserver - so you connect your printer to the printserver and this can work wireless towards your G72.

Iphoto keeps crashing because it is looking for a movie which doesn't exist

Every time i open Iphoto, it says that it is looking for *.avi but it can't be opened because the original item can't be found. Then it crashes and I have to force quit. I didn't reference or delete this file, I haven't even viewed it in a while. Now I am totally locked out. Please help.

Try rebuilding the database. Hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

I have an iPhone 4 and have recently found an issue with safari. When I search images, I can't save them anymore. The "save image" option simply doesn't exist. Any help?

There is literally no option available. I have tried clearing the caches, restarting the phone, and restoring a backup. Nothing is working so far.

I have the same problem. I tried all that you tried, nothing works. Actually, i'm able to save the images while they load, so it saves a very "pixellized" version of the images. A screenshot is the only alternative, which is not the best. Going to the Apple Store this week. Will keep you posted.

I'm trying to get my videos to my computer - not to youtube or to facebook but to my computer. I tried e-mailing and all I get are 320p videos.
I'm using my 4s, updated to latest iOS.
I'm using the Camera app
I'm using it horizontally in landscape mode
How do I get these videos, that I assume are 1080p on my phone to my computer?

Why is my Firefox Aurora seems to be located in Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, but that directory doesn't exist on my computer?

I'm using FusionDisplay to get a taskbar for my second monitor, and the taskbar has worked well until now. Now when I open pinned Aurora, it opens a new application and doesn't merge with the pinned down application icon.
It seems to locate the Firefox.exe to Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, which doesn't exist. Also windows task manager right click menu for firefox.exe won't open anything when I click Open File Location.

Hi. I'm having the same problem with Final versions of Mozilla applications (FF and TB) on Win7 x64 as well. I don't have Display Fusion or the likes.
This started around FF15, and happens about every other update since. This is Very frustrating. Restarting the computer fixes it though. I'd never believe I'd have to restart the computer after pretty much about every update, major or minor. Now this happened to me for both FF19->19.02, and TB 17.0.3->17.0.4 at the same time. No other software running meanwhile.
This happens for about the 3 or 4th time. It's frustrating to have to restart every now and then for a browser update.
I'll stick to a version for both (19.0.2 and 17.0.4) forever, thanks Mozilla! Couple that with the inability of most versions of TB to sustain a longer uptime than 10-15 days with no addons and just 4 pop accounts with 50-100 emails and just one with 1000.

Deleting an iCloud account that doesn't exist

I am trying to delete my iCloud account from my iPhone 4S that is synced with my old iTunes email account that is no longer active. The problem is that it asks for the password in order to delete it, but it does not accept any password because the account is no longer valid. Even when trying to look up the old account or password through the "Forgot ID or Password" link, it says it cannot verify the username, even after I have put in all my old information.
I can log into iCloud.com on a desktop using the new username, but I can't change it to the new one on my iPhone 4S without having a password, which doesn't exist. So I am stuck.
Any ideas?

I'm having a similar issue right now and I'm about to pull out my hair. I've talked to two Apple support guys, neither of which have helped me AT ALL. They only told me to do what I have already done, so I'm not sure how well they listened to me, but they certainly didn't help me (no offense, Apple support).
I have done the "Erase All" option. When I go through the first steps - choosing language, country, wi-fi network, etc., it gets to a screen where it asks whether you want to restore from icloud, restore from itunes, or set your phone up as a new device. I have tried all three. But I want to restore from iCloud with my current Apple ID, not my old one that apparently doesn't exist anymore (so stop asking for it!).
So.. when I restore from iCloud, it lets me type in my current iCloud Apple ID... great, right?! However, once it gets to the menu (all of my stuff shows up, great again!) and I go into Settings > iCloud. it shows my OLD freakin' Apple ID and it asks for my password (which doesn't work). Why is it defaulting to my old, non-existent Apple ID even though I set it up to restore from my current one?! Same problem you're having. And yes, it still says the same thing at the bottom - that I can't delete this iCloud account because my iphone is being restored. But I can't figure out what the heck is still downloading - by now I have deleted all my apps, my music is all there and fully downloaded... so it must be my pictures. None of my pictures are showing up in my album even though it says that 652 pictures are downloading (it has been two days and not one picture has 'downloaded'). So if it's my pictures that are the problem, fine, although I'm not sure how to get around that. I have read about 73 other threads related to that issue with no resolution thus far. So basically I'm stuck.
I am tempted to hit the Stop Restore button, but I don't want to lose those 652 pictures that are supposedly "downloading." I don't know if I'll lose them, but I'm too scared to find out.
I just don't know what to do. And the nearest Apple store to me is 150+ miles away
