Bug on section:xdofo:blank-on command resulting to extra page?

Hi,
I've used the following commands to do page rendering/ duplex printing (which is ok) but is getting an extra page ? Any idea why?
<?section:force-page-count;'end-on-even-layout'?><?section:xdofo:blank-on;'even-skip-page-count'?>
I've already tried minimizing the spaces but still get the same result... is it a bug?

In addition, we have applied patch#6416280, which supposed to fix such bug, but still get the extra page. Has this bug been solved in XML Publisher 5.6.3 (Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2)?
Any idea please?

Since upgrading, if I open more than one page, I can't type in the URL bar nor do any type of command in the extra page. I can only use Firefox if only one window is open.

Table of Texts results in extra blank lines

I have a table of texts in a flowed subform that expands for each line of text. The text and font is a chinese font (Adobe Song Std L). I also have autowrapping turn on so it autowraps when the line is too long.
I would like each new line in the table to have the carriage return as if it is wrapping, but not add an additional blank line like it's a new paragraph.
So instead of using a table I thought I'd concatenate all the lines together and separate them with a control character for carriage return when I want a line break (still allowing Adobe to autowrap when a particular line is too long).
I am preparing this string in SAP which gets sent to Adobe. I've tried concatenating '\u000D' but it just shows those characters rather than performing a carriage return.
Any ideas how I can accomplish this without ending up with a new paragraph (extra blank line) between my lines of text?

Sure - you need to specify the correct "context" how we call it.
When your document contains XSL - the RTF converter has to make assumption
where to put your code - for if statement the assumption is on fo:block (=paragraph) level.
You can the context directive @inlines behind your if statement to correct your problem.
<?if@inlines:sum(current-group()//HOURS != '0'?> should correct the problem
This example is described on page 2-56 "" in the 5.6.1 User Guide. You may also want to read on the context in general in the section "Using the Context Command" (2-107 in the 5.6.1 user guide).

Clip inspector-as i try to fast forward,i movie freezes and clip preview section goes blank. please help.

As I try to fast forward my selected clip, the video preview section goes blank and the clip doesnt get fast forwarded. I have to restart the imovie in order to be able to get the preview back. and in all this, the clip inspector never works. I updated my mac's software several times hoping that it would resolve the issue but nothing of that kind happened. Please help me.

Select the clip in the timeline and then the drop down menu should work okay. You can hold down the control key and click on the clip to get the drop down menu and select retime editor.

BUG? Interactive report select other tab results in Page not found

Hello all,
Recently I have updated our Apex install to version 4.0.1 on Oracle 11.2. There I found the following problem, for which I don't know if it is a bug or not:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a sample application and open a page that contains an interavtive report
2. Run the page
3. Click on "Actions" and select "Filter"
4. Wait for the filter to show and then select any other tab.
This results in a page not found. The address bar shows the link: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept without any parameters.
I have tried to use another template and finally I turned to the sample applications. There this issue can also be found.
My questions:
1. Is this problem already known
2. Is there a work around? because this can be very annoying for our customer.

I have read the post and added the parameter. i am using the EPG. I am able to reproduce using the described steps even using the test applications on the oracle apex environment on the internet from oracle itself.

Apps Store category section is blank

Suppress Section with blank Subreport.

I am trying to suppress a section when the subreport in that section is blank. Supposedly this is described in knowledgebase article c2005853. However I do not know where the knowledgebase is located. Any help will be appreciated.

have a report, it generates result and I can print it out normally.
The result takes up half of the page. What I want to do is to make the
result repeat itself in empty bottom section. Does anybody have a clue

Create a blank report but don’t connect it to a datasource.
Insert your existing report as a subreport in the detail section of blank report.
Insert another detail section and insert your subreport again.
In the blank report create the parameters that you will need to pass to the subreport.
Map the parameters from the blank report to your subreports.

i want to display the query results in several pages. for example my query result found 50 matches, now i want to print 20 per pages next 20 will be in next pages. iam using only jsp & mysql.

Hi, what you are trying accomplish is known as pagination.
You could use JSTL tags with Custom Tags to perform pagination in your JSP pages.

If you meant a situation like: Page 1 has some items and page 2 has a report which refers page 1 itemsThen your report _query would fetch proper results provided the page 1 item values are available in the session_.
That is, after submitting their values(using page submit,dynamic action,ajax etx) to session state , their values would be available in any page (anywhere in that session ) , until the page cache for the item page(page 1) is cleared.

Note exactly sure what you mean, but yes, it is. The main class used for seaching is oracle.ultrasearch.query.Request. Using this class, you set the query, language, start index, # documents to return, and other good stuff.
You get back an iterator of Documents and you build the paragraph how you want it.
