Bug on t400's fn+brightness? (after install switchable graphics)

Question

it is great that we can use switchable graphics on windows 7 now, thanks.
well, i found a bug (not only my t400, but also several of my friends'), the FN+brightness problem.
1. AMD graphics
2. switch to INTEL graphics (fn+brightness function is just OK)
3. switch back to AMD graphics (fn+brightness is down,,,,) (fn+f5 f8 etc. are OK) (fn+pgup (light) is also OK)
A. log off --> log in  (no use)
B1. restart (fine again)
B2. reinstall the hotkey features driver (include restart,,, ) (of course fine again)
C. switch to intel, switch back to amd, down again,,,,,,
is it a universal bug or there is something wrong with my system functions( settings, drivers etc.)

Another possible work around:  after resuming from sleep, toggle to discrete graphics and back to integrated.  See if that sorts it until the next sleep - and let us know, please.
