Bug on uninstall/install?

Hello,
I am wondering if the issue I entered on this posting could be considered a bug:
.jws default program is notepad, not jdeveloper
Here is my situation:
I am on windows 7, have two editions of jdeveloper, 11.1.1.6.0 (not explicitly relevant) and 11.1.2.2 (installation directory: c:\oracle\middleware\jdevelper etc)
I uninstall 11.1.2.2 and install the latest version 11.1.2.3 in directory c:\jdeveloper.
Next day I notice that notepad is the program set to open the .jws file. Try to add Jdeveloper, but it is not listed in the programs list, nor does pressing browse and selecting jdeveloper work.
Open a dos window. running the ftype command, I see that jdeveloper is still set as the old location:
JDeveloper.jwsFile="C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe" "%1" %*
JDeveloper.javaFile="C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe" "%1" %*
JDeveloper.jprFile="C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe" "%1" %*
JDeveloper.jspFile="C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe" "%1" %*
Had to manually re-set the file type assoications using the directions stipulated in the other posting.
Suggest:
1. Either removing the file type association when un-installing
2. Updating the file type assocation when installing

There have been problems reported with the Firefox 3.6.14 version and Pogo.com

You can revert to the previous version until this gets fixed:
