Bug tab "Shared" Yosemite

hello
I have a problem since my migration to Yosemite.
In the shared tab I have several times in my MacBooPro referenced under different name each time it is described with a new number.
as am:
http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=503978973.png
I do not understand why, but especially why there to much.
Especially my MacBookPro shared as I said is that I use.
Also in preferences "Sharing" tab I rename my MBP without numbers
as am:
http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=174751961.png
But when I restart or I go sleep it is renamed otherwise
as am:
http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=456681712.png
Can you explain it to me or come and how to remove them because I have not found any solution that works.
On my MacMini I have exactly the same display in the "Shared" tab.
I'm in 10.10.1 for both
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Anthony,
This is a known issue that was partially fixed in LabVIEW 8, which you appear to be using. By partially, I mean that the behavior only persists when you update the value of your graph using a property node (either Value or Value Signaling). If you update the value using a direct wire connection to the graph terminal, or using a local variable, then the problem goes away. I would recommend using either of these methods, because they will fix your issue. Also, in general a direct wire connection or a local variable will greatly improve LabVIEW's efficiency in terms of updating the front panel. The only situation where this fails is if you need to update your graphs from inside a subVI using control references.
Because that last note is a very real situation, we will notify R&D of this matter so that they can investigate this further. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

  • Synchroniser bug? shared reviews on Sharepoint Server

    Hope someone can help.
We have a hosted sharepoint service which our customers use as a place to conduct shared PDF reviews. Our customers use a mix of versions 8 and 9 of Reader and Acrobat. Much of the time things work well but we are frequently running into a situation where the shared comments become lost. By that I mean in review tracker there is no listing of comments that have been made by lots of other reviewers. Some reviewers can see all ther comments but others cannot.
What seems to be happening is that the local off-line copies of the comments on the users hard disk are being corrupted. When this happens Reader/Tracker is unable to cope and no longer manages to find the comments on the Sharepoint Server. By deleting the corrupted local comments and then disconnecting and reconnecting the shared review we can get everything working again but this is not an acceptable solution for our users. We need a way of not having the problem happen in the first place.
The reason the local comments become corrput seems to be the synchronizer task. When we look at the local comment files instead of containing nice xml comments they actually contain the html of a sharepoint "you failed to login" web page. Our sharepoint server uses form-based authentication. In normal operation we are already logged in to Sharepoint and so we can download the PDF, view it in Reader and track comments fine.
However the synchronizer is running outside of a browser based session. It seems to be trying to log into Sharepoint using a cached session ID but after a while this id expires and it can no longer log in. Instead of failing gracefully it actually downloads the html of the "you failed to login"web page and thus corrupts the file. From this point on Reader/Tracker no longer works correctly.
Is this a bug in synchronizer and is there a fix available?
    Thanks.

Amboo,  I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.3.3 and Windows XP.
My login name is grayed out and I cannot change it. It does NOT match my
acrobat.com login, which is [email protected]  Also, note
in my preference categories that acrobat.com preferences is not
available. I think it used to be...
I did get the new 2011 TOU agreement box a few days ago, and agreed.
    Have not seen it since.
Thanks for responding!  I am desperate to get this working!

  • SQL Developer 3.1 Bug: Tabs get closed!!!

    Hi!
There is a bug in SQL Developer 3.1 which closes previously opened object editors when the number of opened editors increases over a certain amount.
    e.g.:
Open PL/SQL package editors by clicking on them.
After a certain amount of opened packages, the first openend packages begin to disapear.
When theses packages were edited, you are asked if you want to save, ignore or cancel the operation.
    Best regards,
    Matthias Schulz

    Hi Matt,
This is not a bug. The behavior is controlled through preferences:
    1. PL/SQL Editor: Tools|Preferences|Code Editor|Auto Pin (checkbox) + Max Open (input field) PL/SQL Editors.
    2. ObjectViewer: Tools|Preferences|Database|ObjectViewer|Automatically Freeze Object Viewer Windows (checkbox).
    3. Worksheet: Tools|Preferences|Database|Worksheet|Close all worksheets on disconnect (checkbox). Otherwise these inherently remain open.
So we have a minor terminology issue with regard to "Pin" versus "Freeze". Also, another issue with tab width shrinkage as tab number increases:
Please change the way window tabs are handled

  • Fatal bug with shared JDBC Session Persistence

We are attempting to launch a three-tier site with two clusters, one at the
web layer (JSP/servlet/images) and a separate cluster at the app server
layer (EJBs). We are running WebLogic server 4.5.1 Service Pack 8 on Solaris
2.7. In production we use Solaris JDK 1.2.1.04, and in development we use
JavaSoft JDK 1.2.2. We are able to duplicate this problem with both JDKs. We
are using the WebLogic kona/oracle driver for session persistence because
the Oracle JDBC driver would not work for this purpose - we are using the
Oracle OCI driver for our EJB persistence in a separate pool in the app
              server cluster.
We attempted to configure our web cluster to work with in-memory session
replication. We found the performance of the WebLogic proxy to be abysmal -
causing a 5x to 10x performance degredation over shared JDBC persistence. We
were running the proxy on WebLogic, which we were advised would be slow. Its
performance is beyond slow, it is completely unusable and should NEVER be a
recommended or even supported configuration. We do not wish to purchase
separate licenses for iPlanet, refuse to run IIS in a production setting,
and cannot use Apache until WebLogic 5.1, so we are stuck with shared JDBC
persistence until we can upgrade to 5.1.
Using JDBC session persistence with a shared persistent store amongst all
the clustered web servers results in our users getting brand-new sessions
populated with data from OTHER USERS' SESSIONS. This is very easy to
replicate using the provided test JSP and java class. This behavior results
in new users coming to the site and finding themselves logged in as other
              users.
The test.jsp file simply accesses the session, prints out some information,
and then adds a few values to the session. The JSP prints out the value of
session.isNew(), the session's ID, and the number of values in the session
space. If you hit this jsp with a new browser window, the session should be
new, and the number of values should be zero.
The test Java class hits a URL with this test.jsp file repeatedly, and
checks to make sure that the session is empty. It keeps a counter of the
number of hits which resulted in non-empty sessions and the total number of
hits. Because this java class does not maintain cookie data of any kind and
merely opens new HTTP connections, it should always receive a brand-new,
              non-empty session.
When we set the JDBC session persistence property
weblogic.httpd.session.persistentStoreShared=true and run the test, we see
              periodically see the test.jsp file receiving a brand-new (session.isNew() =
              true), yet non-empty (session.getValueNames().length != 0) session. This is
extremely bad behavior and makes the shared JDBC session persistence setting
worthless. We were able to duplicate this behavior with both a single server
and multiple servers in a cluster.
If we set weblogic.httpd.session.persistentStoreShared=false, then this test
works fine. This also means that we cannot cluster web servers.
To run the test, simply start a WebLogic instance using the provided
properties file, put the jsp in the document-root somewhere, and then run
SessionTest.java, providing the URL of the test JSP as the only command-line
argument. You will need to modify the properties file to have the proper
database settings and document-root. The java class will display a running
tally of the number of hits, and the number of hits that result in
non-empty, illegal sessions, with a total at the end.
So, we are now in a position where we are completely unable to launch our
site in a clustered, no-single-point-of-failure configuration. Obviously,
clustering was one of the main reasons to choose WebLogic, and we are
extremely distressed that we are unable to get this configuration to work.
              Any help would be appreciated.
              [web.standalone.properties]
              [SessionTest.java]
              [test.jsp]

I hope this is not too far fetched, but we are expieriencing a similar
problem with jms (messages are mixed up between queues). This happens only
if we are using message persistence in an oracle db (everything works ok
when we are not using persistent messages). Could it be that there is a
serious bug in the jdbc code/oracle driver code or connection handling
(regarding multi threading)? This would explain that, whenever you use
persistence with oracle databases, messages/sessions (or other) are mixed
              up.

  • A possible bug, Tab control in subpanel

    Hi,
I think when a Tab control is used in a subpanel, it happens something faulty if you try to use right and left "tab locations". See the attached code.
will someone check the code and say if I've made any mistake or not. I see some black boxes and distortions instead of page labels when they are sorted at the left or right side of the tab control in the subpanel.
    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It works at my surprise!
unfortunately, in my application I'm using FP Origin property so that a part of tab control is under subpanel borders. therefore this idea won't solve my problem!
never mind. I'll think of another FP objects distribution, but I didn't expect such a simple disturbing issue
    Goodluck.

  • TABS shared across Multiple apps?

    Hi there,
I successfully implemented SSO to flick through several APEX applications without re-authenticating.
However, in order to mantain the navigation layout, I need to have a CORE application that holds common Navigation tabs and lists.
Is it possible to share tabs across applications? It is paradoxal that Tabs live under "Shared Components" however there is no Subscription feature for them.
    Any hints?
    Thanks

Is it possible to share tabs across applications? No. The Navigation Bar - Typical uses.
It is paradoxal that Tabs live under "Shared Components" however there is no Subscription feature for them. It's not that paradoxical as there are many other Shared Components that aren't included in the Subscription feature.
I'm definitely NOT a fan of APEX tabs: don't think navigation elements should submit, and the conceptual model and builder UI are incomprehensible. I'm therefore more into using lists, and would like them to be included in the Subscription feature.
A similar requirement is foreseen on a project I'm currently working on, and replacing the tabs with a PL/SQL region calling standard procedures across all the apps is one of the options under consideration. Other options might be to use a "region pull" from a master app, or some other AJAX approach...

  • ITunes10 64bit Bug: Library Sharing not working

Ever since I upgraded Library sharing stopped working (it last worked in Version 8).
I think the problem is with itunes 64bit. I just uninstalled all Apple Stuff (including Bonjour, Quicktime and Updater) and reinstalled, but still use the same Library.
Sharing from the Notebook (32bit Win7) to AppleRemote (Ipad) or the PC (64bit Win7) works.
But sharing from the MainPC (64bit Win7) on the remote network doesn't work.
I double-checked the Windows Firewall (itunes + bonjour are coming thru)?
Has anybody got more tips for me?
    Cheers
    Leonard

Once again updating and hoping (praying) somebody will get this:
I still cannot get Library Sharing to work, and I think it is a bug with Windows7 64 Bit Version:
    1) Uninstall
I have uninstalled everything as per Knowledge Base http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
I even removed all regstry-entries pointing to Apple software (mainly under HKLM and HKLU). I removed all "Apple Computers" Folders in USER\AppData
    2) Re-Install
    Reboot & Clean reinstall
New empty itunes library (Removed old itunes Folder in MyMusic)
    Imported one CD
    3) Sharing
Turned on sharing in the settings.
    Started up another PC: nothing:
Started up Apple Remote (2.0.1 - 229) on iPad (iOs 4.2.1): Entered correct four digit code in Itunes
A greyed-out Itunes symbol without a name appears (normally reading "BlaBlas Library")
    4) Sharing Part 2
Using the other Computer (Notebook W32bit)
using sharing feature in the other direction (Notebook -> Windows 7 64Bit PC) works
Apple Remote to this PC also works.
    5) Sharing Part 3
Created an entire Blank new User with a new empty Itunes Library. Imported one CD: Same Problem.
Conclusion: Bonjour or some other component of ITunes sharing is broken. What should I do. Can I leave a bug report somewhere?
    Please help me!

  • Screen sharing yosemite

I was able to use screen sharing successfully under Mavericks over the internet to my Sons iMac, I have an rMBP.
I have now upgraded both machines to Yosemite and although I can connect on the network locally to the iMac I am unable to do so from home over the internet.
Both machines are setup correctly but neither Finder (connect as) or Finder Screen Sharing works, any idea?

For those still following this feed, this turned out (for me) to be a simple solution after reading all the feeds, suggestions, fixes, Apple bulletins, etc.  System Preferences>Security>Firewall Options>"allow" or "block" incoming connections.  There are two related to Screen Sharing - the obvious "Screen Sharing" (pic #1 below) and a less obvious (pic #2 below) "screensharingd".  Both have to be ticked "allow."  I've been networking with two MBPr and my desktop iMac.   Screen sharing worked in all directions between all machines except from the MBPr's to the desktop.  This solved the problem.
    Scroll down . . .
Simple . . . wished I'd figured this out long ago.  Hope it works for you as well.

    Do a backup, preferably 2.
Revert to a Previous OS X

  • How to reopen Safari accidentally closed tab on Yosemite

After I accidentally closed a tab, I couldn't find a way to reopen it. Any suggestion? There is no such option either in Edit menu or by right clicking the tab. It's an easy task on Chrome or Firefox, Apple should DEFINITELY add this simple feature to Safari!

In Safari Click > History, then select > Reopen Last Closed Window or All Windows from Last Session.
This will bring your closed tabs. Works even if you were logged in email if you had closed Safari using the little red button below
Safari closes all tabs without warning but the browser application will still be active in the background hence your data will be saved.
    I hope this will help.

  • Safari Bug:  Tabs remain after quitting.

    Safari version 7.0
In System Preferences, General, I have "Close windows when quitting an application" selected.  When quiting Safari, tabs and windows are incorrectly restored from the previous session.  If Safari is closed by clicking the red X in the upper left hand corner, the tabs and windows are correctly not-restored from the previous session, that is, Safari opens fresh without the previous sessions tabs and windows.
I beleive this occured in Mountain Lion as well if I recall correctly.  If "Close windows when quitting an application" is selected, isn't this behavior incorrect?

If you have, "Close windows when quitting an application" selected then Safari should not restore open widows and tabs ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Basically the same as dragging to an empty table. Works for me.
The only things that don't work, and no one said it would, are
    1) If you copy the text from a CSV then paste it into a table it does not expand into columns and rows, just rows.
    2) If your "CSV" file has a TXT extension. It is therefore not technically a CSV file, it is a text file, and is treated differently.
I think there may be a problem with international settings related to commas versus semicolons but that shouldn't be a problem in Georgia unless that is the country of and not the state of.
A TXT file with tabs can be dragged into a table and it will expand into columns and rows. It creates a text box if dragged onto the canvas.
