BUG: Theme 23 Monthly Calendar Templates

In theme 23 "Crimson", template definitions for the Calendar template contain a repeated <tt>height</tt> attribute:
Monthly Calendar/Weekday Formats/Day Open
<td class="Day" valign="top" height="100" height="100">
Custom Calendar/Weekday Formats/Day Open
<td style="#COL_HEIGHT_PIX# #COL_HEIGHT_PER#" class="Day" valign="top" height="100" height="100">

Shakeeb,
I would like to use your theme 23 because it looks more professional in terms of developing Web applications. However, most of our users use IE 7 and IE 8, may I know if the theme 23 will cause any error in these browsers? I only noticed that all corners were not rounded in IE. Except that, will there be other issues in IE?
Thanks.

    Hi;
    I don't think that any of the Templates FormsCentral provides fits your request, but you can explore all of the Templates using a Free account.
    If you can describe a little more of what the form needs to do I can see if I have any ideas about how to you could create it.

  • Theme 10 Calendar Template

    I'm using the theme 10 calendar template.
    I have found that any html entered within the "Non-Day Close Format" textarea of the calendar template is not displayed when the page is rendered.
    Does anyone know if this is a bug?

    Workspace: INSTIGATE
    Username: FZAFAR
    Application: 43872
    If you run page 1 you will see that the text "This text is not being inserted when page is rendered." does not appear on the page.
    If you go to the Calendar Template you will see that this text appears in the "Non-Day Close Format" textarea.
    I assume non-day attributes are for days from previous/next month showing on the current month for completeness of the calendar square. I am further assuming that these non days should display there contents when the calendar is rendered??

  • I am using the big date calendar template and when I submit it to apple for printing I lose the name of two months. These names are not text boxes. I see the names when I send it in but something happens during the transmission to apple. It was suggested

    I am using the big date calendar template in iPhoto. I am on Lion 10.7.2, macbook air. The names of the months are on each calendar page but something happens when I send the data to Apple. The names are part of the template. They are not text boxes. I lose two names on the calendar after it is sent to Apple. Apple suggested I make a pdf file of my calendar before sending it in and check to make sure every name shows. I did this with a calendar I just sent in. The calendar was correct. All names of the months were showing. After sending the data two month names disappeard because when it arrived by mail, it was incorrect. Apple looked at my calendar via a pdf file and it was incorrect.  This is second time this has happened. I called Apple and they had me delete several folders in the Library folder, some preferences and do a complete reinstall of iPhoto.  I have not yet remade the defective calendar. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
    kathy

    Control-click on the background of the view all pages window and select "Preview Calendar" from the contextual menu.
    You can also save the pdf as a file to compare to the printed calendar.  If the two names are visible in the pdf file then the printed copy should show them.  Contact Apple for a refund.  Apple Print Products - Apple Store (U.S.)

    I have 3 PC's.  Two of them I use at 2 different locations and only use them 6 months each year.  When I turn on a computer that has not been used for 6 months, does all of the old information from that computer end up in Icloud?  Does Icloud push all the new calendar and contact items over the old items?

    A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
    No content is affected by this procedure.

  • Bug?: Creating Workspace Theme requires a Breadcrumb Template

    I just created a mobile theme and wanted to make it a workspace theme. This doesn't work because of this exception:
    ORA-20000: ORA-20000: No breadcrumb templates found in theme. At least one breadcrumb template is required. m-18For mobile themes a breadcrumb theme isn't really necessary, i think.
    After adding a dummy breadcrumb template a calendar template is required, which is also might be unecessary for mobile applications.
    ORA-20000: ORA-20000: No calendar templates found in theme. At least one calendar template is required. m-20When thinking this through, i think no template should really be required except for page+region+label+button.

    Hello,
    If possible your going to want to load all your static files into the files system so that you use #IMAGE_PREFIX# there is a performance hit if you upload all your images into the database and it's harder for browsers to cache.
    A theme id only needs to be unique with the application it's in but as a common practice you should set it to something over 100.
    When building a brand new theme I usually start with theme 4 as it has almost no images and is almost entirely css based. So it's basically a blank slate.
    Finally when creating a new theme i take these steps. Lets say your going to set your id to theme 100.
    1. Copy the theme_4 images directory to theme_100
    2. Open the css file and do a search and replace changing t4 to t100.
    3. Change your theme id to 100
    4. Do a theme export
    5. open your theme export in a text editor and do a search and replace changing these strings
    id="t4 >> id="t100
    class="t4 >> class="t100
    themes/theme_4 >> themes/theme_100
    then import your themes export and apply to an application.
    You end up with the same theme but it has been set to run out of entirely different directory with new classes.
    And finally I like to use this theme testing application http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=40722:1 it's the sample application but has one more tab that links to pages that have one of every template class, It allows you to quickly overview your generically your templates before they are applied to any one application.
    Theres a link to download that application on the login page

  • 2009 Calendar Template

    Is it just me, but it's hard to find 2009 Calendar template for Illustrator. I need a 12 by 12 or 11 by 8.5 folded template. I don't mind if it for a price, any idea here I might be able to find it?
    Thanks in advance.

    A thing that many people don't realize is that the vertical date columns of a calendar are always the same, i.e. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and so on.
    You can often save yourself a lot of work by setting up your calendar in vertical text-box columns like this, usually right-justified. Use snap to guides for accurate positioning and spacing. Then when making new months the only thing you have to do is to swap the columns around, sometimes adding a return to the top line of a column depending on what weekday the month begins on.
    You can make complete sets of all possible month arrangements with the first of each month in each of the seven day-positions.
    After that it's just a question of copy/paste, remembering how many days are in each month and finding out when public holidays are so that you can colour them red or wotever.
    I've done a lot of calendars using this method and it's a very handy way of going about things.

  • Calendar Template Curiosity

    Hello all. I have been beating my head against the wall with this one. The new Numbers is certainly a mixed bag. Personally I love it but there are some features that I'm sure most of us wait, with bated breath, to be built back into the program.
    I learn a lot about the mathemagical inner workings of the spreadsheet by reverse-engineering the Apple-supplied templates to learn good practices and pick up some tips and tricks. But this week I cam across something of a conundrum.
    One of the new templates included in both the OS X and iOS versions of Numbers is this Calendar template. It's elegant, simple and the formulae are purposeful. But in picking it apart and rebuilding it I noticed the Month pop-up cell must be formatted in a peculiar way or something. When I set out to remake this sheet, it was one of the first cells I made and formatted. A simple pop-up with the months of the year listed. But as soon as I began typing in formulae, I noticed it produced an error in calculations. I checked and re-checked everything looking for trailing or leading spaces in my value list for the pop-up formatting.
    So I performed a simple test.
    I made a new table with two pop-up cells. Each with the names of the months; January is listed through December. One is a copy and paste from the original Apple template and the other is my own pop-up. Both are formatted properly and identically. In a cell below I created a formula (IF A1=B1, "Yes", "No") to test the actual values driving the calculation. Without knowing what it is that causes it, the test shows the Apple's January ≠ my January. As soon as I copy and paste another one of Apple's month pop-ups into that cell, then and only then does A1=B1.
    Would anyone care to investigate this template and help me understand what is causing the inconsistency?

    Badunit,
    Nope.  That did not help.   The OP already narrowed the problem down to a simple test (shown in my previous post).  In cell A1 is the pop-up copied from Apples template.  In cell B1 is a self-made pop-up formatted to look the same.
    Cell A2 has a test to indicate whether the two are equal.
    A2=IF(A1=B1,"Yes","No")
    Oddly enough they are not.  I was able to get them to be the same if I modified the formula to:
    A2=IF(A1=CLEAN(B1),"Yes","No")
    So there is "stuff" in the self-made pop-up that is not in the Apple-provided pop-up.

  • Is there any way of dragging and dropping an iCal event showing in week view across to a date in the left sidebar monthly calendar?

    Hi, Im not a frequent forum poster, as most of my questions can be found already answered on them!
    This is a question Ive had for a long time and it amazes me that no-one else seems to ask it. I check at each OS upgrade but its never there...
    Is there any way of dragging and dropping an iCal event showing in week view across to a date in the left sidebar monthly calendar?
    I was able to do this years ago in MS Outlook, and utilized it all the time when I needed to push things back, now I have to open the event and select an new date in the drop-down calendar for each & every event I want to move to a new month at the end of the month.
    If its definitely not possible, how to you ask apple to consider including it - it doesnt seem like a particularly difficult task.
    Thankyou
    Andrew.

    Andrew,
    Is there any way of dragging and dropping an iCal event showing in week view across to a date in the left sidebar monthly calendar?
    No, but you can use cut/paste. Cut (⌘X) the event, then click on the week where you want to move the event, and Paste (⌘V).
    If you have a suggestion for Apple to change that method use: Apple - Mac OS X - Feedback.

  • Is there a way to default the monthly calendar display so that the current day always shows on top?

    Is there a way to default the monthly calendar display
    so that the current day always shows on top? ie, I want to always be able to see what's in the future 3-4 weeks, not what's in the past 3-4 weeks. The default monthly display is archaic--only allows you to see through the last day of the month. Suddenly today
    is Oct. 30th, and I have a ton of projects lined up in November, but because I haven't been scrolling down every day, I haven't been aware of them every day. I realize there are other tools in Microsoft to help me stay on task, such as reminders and such,
    but it would be helpful if I could always have the current day display on top of the monthly view so I can quickly scan what's coming up in the next few weeks.

    Thank you!
    Right, I already have it in Month view. My question is a little more specific--I'd like for the current day to always display at the top. For example, today is Oct. 31st, so the current day is at the bottom of the calendar since it is the last day of the month.
    I can view everything in October that I've already completed. What I can't see are the future weeks because we haven't hit November yet. I'd like for the current day to always display at the top of my calendar so I can always see what's coming in the following
    three - four weeks (whether they're a part of that month or not). I've been to other forums trying to find the answer, and have come across the same exact question from frustrated users--but there seemed to be no solution. So I'm posing the question myself
    in this forum. Do you know if this is possible? What I found from other forums is that Outlook defaults to a physical 'desk' type calendar format--so just as I'd use a paper calendar at my desk, I wouldn't be able to see the following weeks unless I either
    flip the page to that month or I come to the first day of the next month, thereby tearing the the old month off and now only able to see the current month. That format is just so...paper...and archaic! Essentially I want the calendars to loop so it doesn't
    even really matter what month it is--I just always want to see what lies ahead without having to scroll down. With our being in the Technology Age, I'd assume this is a logical expectation, but we may be stuck with the replica version of the paper-desk-calendar
    format until Outlook programmers add this Technology Age feature in newer versions.
    See, this month kind of messed me up because I have so many projects for November that start tomorrow and next week, but I haven't seen them until this week. I would have been better quipped--at least expecting them--had I been able to see all of those projects
    since last week or the week prior.
    If there is no solution to this answer, would you know how I can contact Outlook to provide feedback? I'm guessing a newer version is on its way...
    Thanks again in advance!

  • MOSS 2007 Monthly Calendar view wont accept a single digit month

    If any of my users try to change the Month of the Monthly Calendar view, by clicking the arrows to the left of the current display month, they get a blank page.
    The url they are sent to is as follows:
    https://~/Lists/Calendar/calendar.aspx?CalendarDate=6%2F16%2F2014
    If they insert a zero in front of the month digit SharePoint displays the page perfectly fine. ie:
    https://~/Lists/Calendar/calendar.aspx?CalendarDate=06%2F16%2F2014
    Here is where it gets strange, my staging environment will display the first URL and the second URL as expected, my production and dev environments choke on a single digit month.  All environments display Oct, Nov, and Dec just fine because they are
    2 digit months.  All servers are Windows Server 2008R2 SP1 and Sharepoint build 12.0.0.6679
    Anyone seen this before?  I have checked, and changed, the regional settings for date format.  They are all set to M/dd/yyyy and changing it had no effect.

    Hi Matt,
    Could you share a screenshot about this issue?
    Did this happen to all site collections and web applications?
    Where did you set the date format as M/dd/yyyy?
    Have you checked if there is any error on the page with different browsers(or with F12 developer tool)?
    Thanks,

  • Severe bug when syncing Google Calendars to iOS 6.x devices

    Just posted this to Apple Support:
    Error: Recurring events appear multiple (ie several hundred) times on the iOS 6 device until eventually all free memory of the device is eaten up and it stops working.
    Device: Any iDevice with iOS 6.x (6.0 and 6.01). iOS 5.x not affected.
    Software: iOS Calendar app synced with Google Calendar (either as part of a synced GMail account or individually as CardDAV account). Google Calendar (either GMail or Google Apps account) with subscribed Birthdays and Anniversaries Calendar (i.e. calendar showing birthdays and anniversaries from all contacts stored in Google Contacts). "Ordinary" calendar events, including repeating / annual events entered manually in the calendar, fo not cause the bug.
    The bug *may* affect other types of calendars, but as I do not use any, I did not check (e.g. iCloud, Yahoo, etc.).
    Symptom: Recurring events (from the Birthday Calendar only) appear multiple times in the iOS calendar app. They do not show the colored dot next to them indicating the calendar they belong to until the event is opened in iOS Calendar. Disabling the respective calendar in Mail&Calendar settings does not always remove these calendar entries. Eventually, calendar entries are multiplied so many times that all the iOS device's memory is eaten up (i.e. several gigabytes) until an Out of memory error message appears. Sometimes memory apparently gets so corrupted that the device cannot be synced with iTunes any more and has to be reset to factory state.
    It is yet unclear what causes the multiplication of events, as often the events are shown only twice or a few times for extended periods of time and only days later they multiply to the hundreds. The actual calendar on google.com remains unaffected.
    Remedy: None (other than stop syncing the calendar).
    Bug Status: I was able to recreate the bug with different GMail and Google Apps accounts on my iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5 as well as several iPad mini's in the local Apple Store.
    Extensively discussed the bug with Apple Care (Germany). Apple Care could not help as they cannot use non-Apple products, in particular have no access to GMail accounts and therefore cannot recreate the bug.

    I have same issues on two different iPad 4's.
    However for me it's the calendar showing duplicate entries from the "US holiday" calendar I'm subscribed too.  The odd thing about this bug, is the issue comes and goes if I disable/renable calendars randomly.
    At the moment the only work around I have (and I'm not sure it's permanent) is I have had to leave the local Apple "Birthdays" calendar disabled.  When it's disabled it doesn't show dupicate "US holidays".
    However when the issue is present.  Hitting refresh will create even more duplicates every time I click it!  I've had my ipad4 for three days, I was hoping it would take longer than this to find any major bugs.
    Seems like they are not interpreting some data correctly and assuming it's new.  Also of note sometimes when I hit refresh some calndars wouldn't show.  Sometimes they would.
    I hope they fix this.  It makes the calendar app pretty useless for me.
