Bug?: TV shows in iOS 7 return to the first selected show

I manage my video on iTunes withouth synching with iTunes. In particular, "Sync TV shows" checkbox is off. Instead, I drag and drop the cartoons for my kid from my collection (which automatically places them in Home Video category), then adjust info on the videos that are uploaded to categorize them as TV Shows, and group cartoons by series. It worked fine in iOS 6, but after I upgraded to 7, it does not. I did full factory reset before upgrade and then reuploaded the videos, so it's not "new way" vs "old way".
What happens now after I go to Video app and choose TV shows section is that I can select any TV show first time I click on it. However, if I want to switch to another show, I cannot - tapping on any other show still brings me to the first selected one. Anybody saw this behavior?

Upgrade to iOS 7.1, the issue seems to be fixed.

Are you sure you don't see them when you swipe to the left?
I actually had only one icon showing on the second page .... and then all of the rest showed up on pages 3, 4, etc.
The Apple Music app is a red box with a white note
Weather app is a blue box with a white cloud and yellow sun

How to display PDF in slideshow, without returning to the first page or stall/halt on the last page?

Hi,
I want to display PDF's with multiple pages as a slideshow.
This is possible with a default Adobe Reader and have this working for ONE pdf file.
But I want do display multiple PDF's as a slideshow, the one after the other.
In Adobe Reader you can define to return to the first page again or it automatically 'stalls/halts' at the last page.
But I want Adobe Reader to close after the last page is displayed so it continues (in a simple DOS-script) with a second, third, etc. PDF to be displayed.
Is this possible?
What kind of simple DOS-script kan be used or an other reader/utility?

Hi Bernd,
I was looking for ways to script this kind of solution.
But do not have good results. There are tools to combine pdf's into one large pdf - but mostly to be selected by hand.
We need it in a scriptable way to automate.
Additionally, we want to be able to combine different types of documents to rotate as a slide show (so not only PDF's but also pictures or other output).
If you or someone else have such scripts, it will be highly appreciated.

Is anybody else having their Adobe AIR iOS app crash within the first second of opening it?
I am using iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, with a development certificate.
With Adobe AIR SDK 16.0.0.283 and now with 17.0.0.93, after compiling the app (whether in release mode or debug mode), before the app getTimer() can ever reach 999 milliseconds the app will crash. No matter what code I have, it is just crashing before the runtime can ever reach the first second.
Anybody else having this kind of behavior?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have found the way to reproduce. It is about interfaces, and when I try to call a method through an interface the app crashes. I think that it is related to having an interface with many parameters. I have logged the bug here:

Returns to the first row executing a rollback action in ADF BC

I have the next problem:
1.- There is a list of rows taken form a View Object that shows 10 rows per page.
2.- I can navigate into the list, with first, previous, next and last buttons.
3.- Each row has an Edit button. If you press it, a new page is opened to modify the row.
4.- This new page has 2 buttons: Save and Return.
... 4.1.- Save has associated an Action forward = Commit, and returns to the list correctly with the edited row selected.
... 4.2.- Return has associated an Action forward = Rollback, and returns to the list, but always returns to the first row of the first page in the list.
I have followed the steps indicated in Steve Muench's document [JDeveloper and the art of the rollback|http://one-size-doesnt-fit-all.blogspot.com/2007/02/jdeveloper-and-art-of-rollback.html], but the problem is still there.
Could anyone help me, please?

Why is it that when looking through new apps in the apps store on my ipad in release date mode does it return to the first 1-12 after viewing pparticular apps?

why is it that when I look through the new apps in the apps store in release date mode it returns to the first page after veiwing more information about some apps, I could be ten to twenty pages in and have it happen.
Also, I only speak and read English and although there are probably great apps for people from other nations, I don't want to wade through all the apps that I can't make use of. I expect that people of other nationalities or languages don't want to have to wade through every app that they can't make use of, is there not a way that alI users could filter by language?
I mean no offence to anyone but with a collection of hundreds of thousands of apps in all languages and the jump back to the begining after possibly being into the list by a number of pages I stop looking after awhile and I'm sure I've missed some excellent apps by doing so.

How can I return to the last selected item in a dialog box

In OS 9 using Dreamweaver (for example) when I was adding images to a document, each time I added one the dialog box would return to the last selected image and I could just arrow down to the next in the list, add it (exiting the dialog box) and then repeat the process until I had added all the images in the folder. Now, using OS 10.4, after I add an image, and return to the add image dialog box it goes to the first item in the folder list instead of the last selected item. this really slows the process down, and when I'm adding 100 items or so, it's a real drag. I figure there has to be a way to get the dialog box to return to the last selected item, but I don't know what it is. Help!

In scene selection mode, can you make iDVD return to the scene selection menu after playing that scene without continuing to play all the other scenes?

After selecting one scene from the scene selection menu, the following scenes play automatically, as if it were in "play movie" mode. Is there a way to stop that behavior and have the DVD return to the scene selection menu after playing just the selected scene?

You might be able to get close to what you want by using a slideshow in iDVD. (It's not widely known, but you can put videos in a slideshow.) If you set the slide duration to manual, playback will pause after each movie/slide, and you can continue with the 'next' button.
3. Using another program to do this e.g.. Roxio Toast™ where there is a Play All button option.
Summary
a. Making a Play All movie with same care as the individual Part movies - gives a very Good Result
b. Using Roxio Toast™ - also an usable way to go

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

I have a mapping where I am creating a filename from data in within my data file, I am using one of my variables i.e. Account
The data looks like this

What I want is to is return only the first row u201C123" and concatenate it with a constant to make up the filename.
Any help will be appreciated.

How to return to the first record of a multiple row cursor (Forms 6i)

I had a bit of a search through here, but couldn't quite find the answer I'm after.
I have a multiple row cursor, which I feed into a multi-row block in Forms 6i. I have the following code:
OPEN CURSOR;
LOOP
   FETCH CURSOR INTO :FIELD1, :FIELD2, :FIELD3, :FIELD4;
   ... do other code not related with cursor
   EXIT WHEN CURSOR%NOTFOUND;
   NEXT_RECORD;
END LOOP;Now, I use the Forms built-in NEXT_RECORD to move down through the records on the form and fill in each row from the db. However, once the block loads (this works correctly), the current item (ie where the typing cursor is left) is on the last record.
Obviously, I need the current item (after loading) to be on the first record. I tried using the Forms built-in FIRST_RECORD after the END LOOP command, but that gives me an ORA-06511 error (An attempt was made to open a cursor that was already open).
Does anyone know how I might be able to return to the first record of the block correctly?

Ok, I feel like a bit of a dolt.
I found that all cursors had to be closed before navigating back to the first record.

I now have a solution to the problem I thought I was having. The new Safari 6.0.2 places the browsing history in the form of "tabs" just below the tool bar. You can return to the previous window when you click on the tab. You can also change the use of "tabs" when you select Safari/Preferences/Tabs, if you prefer not to use tabs. CR 2010 - Need to limit records returned to the FIRST ONE OR TWO

I need a way to limit the data returned in a subreport to just the first one or two records (depending on the report requirements). The data is sorted by Date DESC and I only want the latest one or two recs. Can someone please tell me how I can do that?

Well, you can enter a suppression formula for the details section of the subreport like this:
Recordnumber > 2 //
This will display the two most recent records in the subreport.

When I connect iPhone 4S in iMac, photos and videos can be imported through iPhoto, as usual. But, if I change the user account, iPhone no longer appears in iPhoto! If I return to the first account, iPhone simply doesn't appears in iPhoto also. Any idea?

- I have iPhoto '11 and, in iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1;
- I started having this issue about 2 months ago, but I can't associate it with any changes or updates;

No, your iPhone and your iPad should not appear in the finder.
I'm not sure what you mean about downloading photos with iPhoto being double handling, but you can download direct to a folder with Image Capture. Image Capture can also be used to delete photos from the Camera Roll on the iPhone or iPad (preferrably after they are downloaded).
You can remove the photos you synced from your phone with iTunes by syncing again with an empty folder, That will delete all the photos that were previously synced that way, replacing them with the contents of the empty folder (that is, nothing). This will not effect photos takes with the camera on your iPhone.
