Bug when viewing tables?
There seems to be a bug when viewing tables with identical names in different schemas in SQL Developer. When I view table information in one schema and then go to a table with identical name in another schema the view isn't updated, it still shows the information for the table from the first schema. I have to select another table in the second schema before I select the table I want to look at to get the information correct.
I have the same problem with views, so this is probably the case for all kinds of objects.
Regards,
Sveinung
I have found that the problem is even more specific. It occurs only when I view schemas in different databases.
I am not sure that I understand what you mean about abstracted script. I have tried to create a simple test case with two scripts, one for each database, that creates a table, inserts some data and creates a view on the table.
I have not found a way to upload files, so I have pasted the contents into this thread along with a description of the steps in the GUI. I have run the scripts on Oracle 10g (10.2.0.3.0) databases.
-- SCRIPT 1
CREATE TABLE test_table
col_1 NUMBER,
col_2 VARCHAR2(6)
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (1, 'ROW 1')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (2, 'ROW 2')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (3, 'ROW 3')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (4, 'ROW 4')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (5, 'ROW 5')
COMMIT
CREATE VIEW test_view AS SELECT * FROM test_table
-- END SCRIPT 1
Run script 1 in some schema in a database.
-- SCRIPT 2
CREATE TABLE test_table
col_1 NUMBER,
col_2 VARCHAR2(6),
col_3 VARCHAR2(12)
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (1, 'ROW 1', 'COL 3 ROW 1')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (2, 'ROW 2', 'COL 3 ROW 2')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (3, 'ROW 3', 'COL 3 ROW 3')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (4, 'ROW 4', 'COL 3 ROW 4')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (5, 'ROW 5', 'COL 3 ROW 5')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (6, 'ROW 6', 'COL 3 ROW 6')
INSERT INTO test_table VALUES (7, 'ROW 7', 'COL 3 ROW 7')
COMMIT
CREATE VIEW test_view AS SELECT * FROM test_table
-- END SCRIPT 2
Run script 2 in some schema in another database.
Connect to the two databases in SQL Developer.
Select the table in the first database, then select Data.
Then select the table in the other database. In my system the data are not refreshed. This is also the case when I look at the views.
Hope this description is good enough.

The exported columns name are still ordered as the table definition and the data are ordered as the table is diplayed in the explorer. If you change the order of the columns in the explorer and export the data in a csv file by example, the data are putted in a wrong column due to the labeling mismatch.

Hi,
I have an iPhone 4s and have noted a number of bugs that Ive never had with an iPhone before. Nonetheless, they are easily lived with and I am sure they will be addressed via future updates. However, one issue is with viewing the photos in my Photo Album and Im a little more concerned about this as I dont want to loose pictures.
If I access my photos via the Photos App (App with flower logo) I can clearly scroll through them as would be expected. However, if I access photos via the camera app, i.e I take a picture, click on picture on bottom left, then select camera roll, I note I can view ALL / PHOTOS / VIDEOS etc which is normal. However, I have recently realised I have many more photos available whilst viewing via this method instead of via the Photos App. Therefore the two are not in sync.
Is this normal? I only ask as I am worried there is a bug and I dont want to loose pictures etc. As it stands I would like to be able to view all the pictures on my phone via the Photos App and I would have expected this to be the norm.
Any advice is welcomed
CheersAs far as the photo app, you would have to direct your concern to the apps developer. I would suggest reading the reviews from other user and see if they have similar problems.

SAP Crystal Reports 14.0.4 - bug when deselecting tables
Hi
I seem to have hit an issue in Crystal Reports that is counterintuitive and might be a bug - please let me know if this is not the case.
I'm going through the 'Standard Report Creation Wizard'. Upon selecting a data source from the 'Available Data Sources' and clicking the double arrow >> to add all tables within that data source, I (rightly) see all my selected tables in the 'Selected Tables' list. I also see any functions / stored procedures that are included within this data source - all makes sense so far.
However, upon removing the tables using the double arrow the other way <<, all of the above functions are actually called! I've verified this using logging. This shouldn't be happening, should it? I'm removing tables / procedures from a list; no CALL commands should be being issued at all...
Would be grateful if anybody can help to classify this correctly as a bug & get it fixed
Cheers,
ChrisNot a bug,
To remove them use the Options to filter them out:
And don't add all tables or ALL of anything, only add just the ones you need, CR uses resources to for each source, if you use them ALL you can run out of system resource memory and the result is you won't see them all and therefore won't be able to use them only the only you actually need.
If you must use a lot of them then write a Stored Procedure to do your data filtering Server side.

Notification bug when "View in Lock Screen" messages notification option is OFF
Phone : iPhone 5
iOS version : 6.1.3
Situation:
All notification option for messages are ON.
Only "View in Lock Screen" messages notification option is OFF.
Action:
The user is in the messages app and then locks the phone pushing the hold button.
If a messge arrive there is no "preview" in the lockscreen (and this situation is correct) but no sound is produced (THIS IS A BUG).
If the user exit from the messages app, locks the phone pushing the hold button and then arrive a message there is no "preview" in the lockscreen (and this situation is correct) and a sound is produced (THIS IS CORRECT).
Thanks.

Strange UI bug when using People view/face recognition
I've started playing with the face recognition in LR6/CC and have encountered an odd display bug when viewing the groups of 'named people':
The thumbnail for each named person includes a count of how many images (or perhaps that should be faces) are attributed to their specific name. However, once the number of images for a person exceeds 100, LR only displays the first two digits in the thumbnail and drops off the third one, e.g. 254 is displayed as 25. If you hover over the thumbnail, the full count (e.g. 254) is displayed so long as the mouse cursor is kept on the thumbnail. Interestingly, once the number of images attributed to a named person exceeds 1000, it does the same thing, only it adds an extra digit (so 1400 becomes 140).
I'm running this on Win7.
Anyone else seeing this?
MI guess I was primarily "testing the water" to see if the problem was specific to my configuration in some way, but you make a fair point John.
Here's my (possible) bug report: LIGHTROOM Facial recognition: thumbnails not displaying full number

LR3 Mac Bug - Survey View Flagging
Bug: When viewing multiple photos in Survey view (N) you are unable to flag/rate/color just one photo. Instead, all photos get that rating.
This would seem to render the Survey view useless for editing purposes. Previous releases of LR do not behave this way.
Is ther a new setting I'm unaware of or is this a true bug?

Table style doesn't display when viewed or when project is published
I'm running RH8 (with RH8 Server). The table style no longer displays when viewed or when published. I checked the table style of the same project (but older version) and the styles to me looked the same. It displayed fine last week (famous last words), but this week something changed. Can anyone help?
The tablegradient.jpg can be seen in the project (image A), but when I view (eyeglasses), or if I open a published project, it doesn’t (image B).
Image A
Image BI really do not know what has caused this but in your situation I would be looking at the CSS for the table now and when it worked.
After that I would probably create a new project and create the same setup afresh. That can often identify the cause of problems like this.
Sorry I don't have anything more constructive.

How to view when a table was last used!!?
Hi,
Pls let me know where I can view when a table in the database was last utilitized i.e. any selection or manipulation was performed on it.
Thanks in Advance,
AbhiHi,
you can see if some structure changes were done (DDL statements) through user/all/dba_objects view
select * from user_objects where object_name = 'A1';
... LAST_DDL_TIME
11/14/05 07:59:10 ...
alter table a1 add (c2 int);
...LAST_DDL_TIME
11/14/05 07:59:38 ...
Also you can monitor access to tables (with some degree of errors) using V$ACCESS and the monitoring can be set up through v$segment_statistics.

Tables of View Joined in Wrong Order When View Joined to Other Tables
I have the following view:
select
distinct
'PKG' item_type_code,
msibk.organization_id,
msibk.inventory_item_id
from
mtl_system_items_b_kfv msibk,
mtl_item_categories mic,

mtl_categories_b_kfv mcbk
where
msibk.organization_id = mic.organization_id
and msibk.inventory_item_id = mic.inventory_item_id
and mic.category_set_id = mdcs.category_set_id
--1 Inventory (Lookup = MTL_FUNCTIONAL_AREAS)
and mdcs.functional_area_id = 1
and mic.category_id = mcbk.category_id
and mcbk.segment1 = 'EXP'
and mcbk.segment2 in ( 'PACKAGING' )When I access the columns like this:
select
from
xxcus_mtl_sys_item_types_v
where
organization_id = :1
and inventory_item_id = :2
and item_type_code = :3It correctly accesses MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B second in the explain plan and everything is good.
But when it is part of a join, it accesses MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B last in the explain plan and has performance issues.
select
msi.segment1
from
xxcus_mtl_sys_item_types_v x,
mtl_system_items msi
where
msi.organization_id = x.organization_id
and msi.inventory_item_id = x.inventory_item_id
and x.item_type_code = 'PAK'Any ideas why the view tables are getting joined incorrectly when the view is joined with another table?
Thanks,

I haven't started a new project on 8.1 I've only opened an old project but the issue that I'm referring to which involves also a delay/freeze of anywhere from a few seconds to a MINUTE while the render bar goes from yellow to red and then back to yellow is still there. Boo.
On the list above...
Switching between sequences can turn the render bar red.
This issue is incredibly easy to replicate. I really do hope it gets fixed. Here are the steps:
1) Create two sequences with multiple short clips (the more clips the better)
2) Make sure GPU acceleration is enabled.
3) Add warp stabilizer to the clips in both sequences. Again, the more clips the longer the delay/freeze will be as the render bar goes from YELLOW to RED and then eventually back to YELLOW again.
4) Hit SAVE.
5) Now, toggle between sequences. You'll hit a short delay with a few clips stabilized and a LONG delay with lots stabilized. In my case this delay is around a full minute. The render bar will go from YELLOW to RED and then back to yellow...eventually.
6) Toggle back to the original sequence and the delay occurs again.
7) Once you've toggled between sequences and have gone through this delay, that's it, there is no longer a delay...UNTIL...(and here's the big kicker)...until the project is SAVED again. After that the issue returns when you toggle between sequences. Both saving manually and AUTOSAVING cause this issue. No way around it except not editing with GPU acceleration.
Not sure what the issue is...caching issue when saving maybe? Either way, it stinks and it's still there in 8.1. Big bummer.
Again, lots to be excited about with this release but I really was hopefully this specific issue was resolved.
Sigh. -
[BUG?] af:table table empty after descending sort and remove
Hi,
I think i found a bug.
I have an af:table binded to an arraylist in a backingbean. This List consist of an object that represents two strings (value 1 and 2).
Now when the table is loaded and I sort descending on one of the columns. After sorting i'll try to remove a row. The correct row is published to the bean with an af:setPropertyListener and removed from the arraylist. But when the table is rendered again there are no values in the table. But the arraylist still has all remaining values which will be shown after a sort again.
Fun fact: it only happens when sorting descending.
Anyone got an idea?

audit-core oracle.ide.audit.core 11Hi Harry (and others),
I have seen similar behavior. It seems like the client side rendering for some reason has a hard time processing the collection model wrapping the ArrayList in this particular case. The table renders empty. After sorting in ascending order, the rows are all back (visible) again.
Is anyone aware of issues with the rich table based directly on ArrayList (in combination with a changing set of values and/or sorting)? (seems like a corner case but is still not uncommon). Is there any indication that wrapping the ArrayList in a CollectionModel ourselves might be required?
Harry: do you know whether this issue is introduced with PS3 (11.1.1.4) or already existed in previous releases?
kind regards,

How to edit data from a "View Table"?
I am importing data from a "table view" where in sql it joins several tables into one view. When I passed it in using the template it doesnt have the "Edit command column" like other direct link tables. Is there anyway I could make a view table editable? Can I manually try to do it or I have to edit the individual ables? thanks
oh sorry about that. The "template" I mean in HTMLDB when I start building a new application I used "Based on existing tables" method and with single tables it generates everything fine with search fields and edit column to the left. I have a table view that combines about 4 tables together and I used the same template (Based on existing tables) and it has the search and create but it doesnt have the "edit" column on the left. Is there a way I can edit the view table's information so that the other tables that the view combines will be updated/edited?
The reason is that lets say I dont know this person's ID number but I know his name. I search for his name on table A and it returns some general data including his ID number. Instead of going to another Table B with the person's ID number and edit that table I really want to see the information just from one search (Table A)- if a global search can be implemented that would be great too. Thanks Sergio. -
Error in creating Transport Request for a view table
Hello all,
I have an ECC IDES 6.0 system named EC1 and another one which is ECC EhP4 IDES named EA1 which I have just installed.
One of my requesters has a view table named ZVAITM_TBLE in EC1 and she wants it to be transported to EA1.
So I created a workbench transport in SE10 and included the following:
PgmID = R3TR
Obj = VDAT
Object name = ZVAITM_TBLE
But when I press enter, I encountered the following error:
No object definition exists for Customizing object ZVAITM_TBLE
Message no. TK427
Diagnosis
The Customizing object R3TR VDAT ZVAITM_TBLE is not defined in the tables of the Change and Transport System.
This means that you cannot use the Transport Organizer to edit it.
System Response
The function terminates.
Procedure
First check whether the name of the object is correct. Then you (or the system administrator) should check the object definition, to ensure that the object was created correctly (transaction SOBJ).
If the object does not exist, then create it or delete it from the request/task.
I am new to transports so I have no idea how to proceed.
Please advise.
Thanks a lot!
Cha ChaHello Cha,
Kindly open this custom table using SM30 and try creating a transport request from there.
Regards
Vivek
