Bug while deleting values in form and it's parent member is dynamic calc

Hi,
I'm having a problem that seems to be a bug. I am trying to delete the values of member A11 in the following hierarchy, in a Planning Form:
A (Dynamic Calc)
|_A1 (Dynamic Calc)
|__A11 (Store)
|_A2(Dynamic Calc)
!_A21 (Store)
However when I save the form that has IDescendants(A) in rows, values aren't deleted and it's replaced with the value in A1. I'm not sure whats going on but if I place Ilvl0Descendants(A) in form, it works without problems.

I am trying to synchronize Company master data between local BCS system and SAP BW with UGMD_BATCH_SYNC program. In the synchronization mode, Full Synschronization (Write and Delete) was selected.
However, I receive the following error message when executing the program:
Error while deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company (RFC destination )
Message no. UGMD077
Diagnosis
When writing or deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company errors occurred in the system with RFC destination . As the changes have already been defined in the local storage location this results in the master data being asynchronous between the local and remote storage location.
System Response
Processing is continued.
Procedure
Carry out a manual synchronization of the master data later using report UGMD_BATCH_SYNC. You can find additional information there under Application Help.
FYI, RFC Destination for my data basis is left blank.
What may causes this error and how to resolve it?

May I know what settings that I need to check in UGMDSYNC program? As far as I can tell, there is only one parameter that we need to specify in the program i.e. Field Name. As I am trying to synchronize from BCS to BW, I have chosen the followings settings:
Source = LOCAL
Target = ALLBW

Interesting thing that I notice after executing the UGMDSYNC program is the following message:
Synchronize/Display Variances Between Systems
     The compound dependencies for the attributes or texts are not defined
     uniformly in the systems investigated.
     Example:
     Texts are defined as language-specific in the local systems and as
     language-independent in remote systems (for example BW systems). The
     same can apply for other compounds such as version or time dependencies.
System Response
     The display of differences between the systems will be affected. A
     manual synchronization will not be completely successful.
Procedure
     1. Ensure that the dependencies for the attributes and texts are the
         same in all systems.
     2. Start the synchronization process again.
Procedure for System Administration
I can check the attributes and texts in BW via RSD1 by specifying InfoObject = 0COMPANY and checking the Master data/texts and Attribute tabs. But how do I check similar settings in BCS Workbench? I can't determine whether the Company text is language-dependent or not simply by displaying specific Company from Process View > Master Data > Consolidation Units > Company.

Error while opening supplier/customer forms and payment manager templates

we are having 11.1.0.7 database and 12.1.1 E-business suite with 10.1.2.3 forms
user is getting

while accessing supplier/customer forms and payment manager templates and this gets resolved after bouncing the application. the current instance is a staging one and this will be replicated to production so please help or suggest any solution or work around

There should be a link on the error page for further details about the error. Can you post the contents of that error link page ?
Pl also check the Apache logs for any errors - see MOS Doc 419839.1 (How to enable Apache, OC4J and OPMN logging in Oracle Applications R12) for name and location of the Apache log files.

Different values on form and database

hi all
i have a field which counts the number of rows
on the form which is showing a different value (which is correct)
and in the database it is showing a different value (incorrect)

listening for the first time but u r facing the problem, reconfirm that the query/properties are correct in form properties, check it by creating new form module for just checking weather it is showing correct in that form. and c if there is when_new_form_instance trigger or When_Validate_windows trigger used for some execution. and one more thing just check if u didnt change the column and create it again and database type is NO ( properties )

I couldnt do anything but a cold shutdown and I tried.. After the restart I tried to delete the folder again with no issues. rtorrent did a hash check of it after the restart and returned missing chunks, which is ofc no surprise as I tried to delete the whole thing.. I removed the torrent from the client and just then deleted the rest though.
I don't know if its related, but if I delete a file which is linked to a torrent, the free space on the hdd isnt necessarily changed until I remove the torrent from the client.

Lost the consistency while deleting entries of SWWORGTASK and SWWWIHEAD

Hello All
I have a critical issue dealing with Workflow tables.
On demand we have deleted the entries(millions) of the tables SWWORGTASK and SWWWIHEAD using a customised report.
Now we are getting inconsistency when running some applications as the data of some other tables which are related to above said tables is still there.
As a result we are getting short dumps and other problems.
Its highly appreciated if anyone gives a solution on this like is there any transaction to do the same so that it will clear all related tables entries when we are deleting the above tables.
Or any other solution could be appreciated.

there wont be any lock issues here we have implemented thye same in the previous projects.
only thing you need to keep in mind is keep this delete overlapping request process before droping indexes keep your dtp keep create index.

Forms and Reports: Automated Test tools - functionality AND performance

All,
I'm looking to get a few leads on an automated test tools that may be used to validate Oracle forms and reports (see my software configuration below). I'm looking for tools that can automate both functional tests and performance. By this I mean;
Functional Testing:
* Use of shortcut keys
* Navigation between fields
* Screen organisation (filed locations)
* Exercise forms validation (bad input values)
* Provide values to forms and simulate user commit, and go and verify database state is as expected
Performance Testing:
* carry out tests for fixed user load
* carry out tests for scaled step increase in user load
* automated collection of log files and metrics during test

Your question is unclear. As IK mentioned, the only tool you need is a new version of Oracle Forms/Reports. Open your v10 modules in a v11 Builder and select Save. You now have a v11 module. Doing a "Compile All PL/SQL" before saving is a good idea, but not required. The Builders and utilites provided with the version 11 installation are the only supported tools for upgrading your application. If you are trying to do the conversion of many Forms files in a scripted manner, you can use the Forms compiler in a script. Generating new "X" files will also update the source modules (fmb, mmb, pll). See MyOracleSupport Note 955143.1
Also included in the installation in the Forms Migration Assistant. Although it is more useful to people coming from older versions, it can also be used to move from v10 to 11. It allows you to select more than one file at a time. Documentation for this utility can be found in the Forms Upgrade Guide.

I have a table in my Interactive Form and I need to add a dynamic image for each row of this table according with the URL field of my node, so i've done the steps of the tutorial "Dynamic Non-Interactive PDF Form", adding a image field, setting none for default binding, setting the url field as $record.Images[*].URL and then, adding the following FormCalc expression to initialize the image: this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
Well, my node Images return 3 records and when I run the app, the following message returns:

I solved it now, just changing the FormCalc expression.
Instead of using the expression:
this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
I used this:
this.value.image.href = xfa.record.Images.URL;
The URL value of Image Field, in this case is:
<b>$record.Images[*].URL</b>
And, to finish, I needed to add a Text Field bounded to <b>$record.Imagens[*].URL</b>, case else the image doesn't appear.
That's it!

Yes if you backed up your iPhone with iTunes to your Mac. You can restore your phone to the last backup:
Or with a iPhone backup viewer/restorer application like iPhone Backup Viewer or Mac iPhone Data Recovery. But the phone has to have been backed up with iTunes to the Mac.
Other possible applications can be found at MacUpdate.com by searching for iPhone recovery or iPhone backup, etc.
Change your Apple ID password so you wife can't log into your iCloud again and do the same thing.

Combining forms while keeping values and not using portfolio

I tried to combine three copies of the same form with unique information into one file in Acrobat XI. I was able to do so in previous versions. In XI, when I tried to do this, it would give all three forms the same information. It told me I had to make a portfolio. The portfolio method made a file that was too trippy to look at, one of my clients even sent it back and requested the individual files. Is there a way to combine copies of the same form and keep the unique values of each form such as turning off something or another tool or do I have to go back to n older version of Acrobat?

I got the answer for this query, but when i do download and upload of the files from R/3 to GRC. Still it is not showing me the new transactions which were developed in R/3.
it means when i try to add the transaction in a function, under search mode with respective of the r/3 system, it is not showing me the search results.
What i did was, i run the reports /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_DESC & /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_SAPOBJ and uploaded them as below in GRC.

For each of the download i get 2 files for each and i tried to upload both of them but no luck.
Please suggest me, as am missing anything in this process

Return values from a popup to calling form and refresh page?

Hi,
Following thread Re: Popup report window from a PL/SQL proc.? I'm trying to pass the record values(checkbox + record values) to the parent windows (the retruned value is always a unique record). I was able to set the variables values with a procedure ( I vierfied in session state), but I'm unable to pass these values to the parent form and then refreshing the page. I tried the following thread without success : Refresh from Popup page
Any hint would be appreciated.

As u can see, the 3rd item uses the ondblclick to call the js function f_callMyPopup.
My js function in the header of the page is below:

and the js in the custom popup page (17) has the following function which is executed when the user selects one of the rows using a button.

When f_return_value is executed, the selected value is pasted in the first row of the parent page.
Sorry , i don't know what do you mean when you say to pass the id to the custom popup page.

Delete record from the form and from the database

hi,
i want delete record from the form and the database ,but the record is only delete from the from !!!
this is my code :

commit;

You have unique key field(s) on the table you are trying to insert which actually restricts you from inserting the same value again.
When you are deleting the record and issue commit there is a record to be inserted in the table which is a duplicate that's why you are getting this unique error.
As oracle is not able to insert your commit fails and stops your deletion of record from table

FRM-40654 error in master-detail form while deleting record in detail block

Hi,
I am facing an issue in a custom form which is a Master-detail form while deleting a record in detail block. It is giving an error "FRM-40654 Record has been Updated by another user. Re-query to see change". I have checked the record is matching with that in database.
Can anyone help on this.

Hi jan,
master block is based on Table "A" and detail block is based on a View "X".
View "X" definitions includes the tables "A","B","C" etc..
Now I have tried removing table"A" from view "X", even then the same error is ocuuring but the lock is happening on table "B" instead of "A"
