Bug with part of text getting chopped off?

I've been getting this on and off... the last letter of some text gets chopped vertically.
Take a look at the last letter of "PORTFOLIO" and "ABOUTUS" here.

Tried them as readability and animation... they are actually worse as readability.
The strange thing is, each letter is an MC, so the two S's in ServiceS are actually the same MC as the S in aboutuS, yet its only the latter mentioned that is bugged.

     Using Excel 2003-sp3 and Adobe Acrobat v.9 Standard, the right half of the last character in the string gets cut off. It prints from excel fine.

Landwide(pasta) report gets chopped off on right hand side

Hi
I am printing a report(Transaction Register) in landwide(HPW drivder), using Pasta and the report is getting chopped off on the right-hand-side.
What do I need to do to fix this?

Could you please share the initialization, because I have the same issue but mine was chppoed off left hand side. Which initialization i need to fix? thanks

Text gets cut off when exported to PDF

When I export my report to PDF some of my text gets cut off where it would meet the right edge of the text box by 1 or 2 letters.
This only happens when I export to PDF through my web application or when I export it throught the Report Manager URL
If I export it on my local copy of SSRS then it shows up fine without the text getting cut off

You can set the Cangrow property of the textbox to true which allows to grow your textbox and is default for any text box unless you have changed it.

Oversize documents being rendered with parts of the document cut off due to the large size

We are invoking web services on LiveCycle Server ES 8.2 to convert non pdf documents to pdf. We noticed that oversized documents are rendered with parts of it cut off when submitted for conversion.
Has anyone seen this before and how we can resolve this?

The oversized file issue happens when we try to convert legal size documents. Part of the document is cut off.
Any documents wider than 8 and 1/2 by 11 has this issues.

Please see image - When second line (unbolded text) is not as lengthy as first line (bolded text) it cuts off. Is this a glitch or can I fix this somehow?

The first thought is did you save evenything. I have tried to reproduce your actions - but with a nor text box.. I have no shift in colour.
Are you using a standard text box?
The next thing I see is you appear to have chosen Apples free template "Editorial" and use it in its standard form.
Although text box's are not controlled by teh default template settings,, its advisable to first decide your colour scheme and basic layout in the template - Apple Changes to everything you changed - even of it does request you to.
The thumb shows the text box seems to overlay a photo galleryor some other widget.
Are you aware that even the basic template sits in layers stacked front to back if any object on your screen is not full size, then its possible another layer is cut off ie the content is forced to flow under a layer which sits on a higher lever.
In iBA select a layer that is "cut off" and select ARRANGE in the top menu bar and click on Move to front. Check if your lost content appears. It may be one or more layers are active at levels which block your content.
Using a basic free template and then changing content in any way just on your work page - can often result in the default setting overriding your choice in preview.

Intermediate connections with E2000, I keep getting cut off.

Hello, I installed a E2000 several week s ago. Installation went fine, however I am constantly getting cut off. This is happening with several items I have on the Network, 2 computers & 2 DVD players. I have one computer hardwired to the router. I can be in the middle of surfing the net & all of sudden I am cut off. Sometimes I can quickly get back on while other times I have to reset the router and basically start totally over. The first time this started to happen I returned the router & got a new one but it didn't make a difference. I am at a loss of what is happening.

Bypass the router and connect the computer directly to the modem. Check the Internet connection through the modem. Make sure that the connection is not dropping through the modem.
If the Internet through the modem is not dropping then try to change some settings on the router.
Connect the computer and modem to the router. You might have installed the Cisco connect software on the main computer. Open the Cisco connect software and go to Router settings. Click on Advanced settings and it will open the setup page of the router. Set the MTU to manual and change the size to 1365. Save the settings.
Click on wireless tab. Set the configuration view to manual. Change the wireless channel to 11. Save the settings.
Click on Advanced wireless settings sub tab. Change the beacon Interval to 75, RTS threshold to 2307 and fragmentation threshold to 2306. Save the settings. See if that works.

When i print my edited photos in a 4x6 or smaller parts of photo get cut off how do i fix this?

I have my edited photos burned to a disc in jpeg file...when printed in 4x6 or smaller they get cut off...it acts as if my photo is too big for a 4x6 or smaller...how do i fix this? its for my photography business and when i give my customers the rights to the photos on disc they are upset they can not print 4x6 or smaller

Bugs with Custom Status not getting displayed on Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog

We added a couple of new states to the Work Item Type of Bug. We want all the bugs to show up in the Sprint Backlog items.
In order to do this we added the custom states in Common Process Configuration file using witadmin and also in the Workflow tab of "Bug" using TFS Power Tools.
The excerpts from the Common Configuration file for this is:

I assumed that this should have been sufficient to display all the Bug Work Items with these custom states.
So, I created a new bug that had the state of "New" in the system. It was visible in the Product Backlog.
When I changed the same work item's state from New to
Open and save, the bug is removed from the backlog with this message.
[Title] was removed because of your recent changes.
The following changes removed the item:
State was set to: Open
Even after refreshing the page, the same work item does not appear in the product backlog page or the Sprint Backlog page.
Any idea why this could happen?

I'd like to know the version of TFS you're using, and how did you customize the Common Process Configuration file for display the bugs on backlog page.
You can add bugs or other work item types to appear in either the task board or the product backlog, but not both. I have a try and it wroks for me, you can follow the links below to add bugs to the backlog pages and check if it works.

Envelopes do not feed correctly on my HP5610 All in One printer and return addresses get chopped off

I'm running a Windows 8 64 bit laptop and the feeder seems to grab the paper properly but it cuts off part of the return address all the time. I can push it in maybe and inch or so when the feeder starts to grab the paper and this will correct it, but it will cause a jam if it's pushed in too far. It did this on my previous Windows 7 machine as well.

I can see from your post that you are running into envelope feed issues. I'd like to help!
I would recommend performing a power reset on the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I'd also recommend the document below:

Even though you aren't receiving this error, the steps should help.

Text being chopped off in i.e. 6/7

my top navigation text is being affected strangely in older versions of i.e.

I have removed the line height parrameter, and have looked at other known bugs but I can't see what is wrong?

Instead of displaying the list items as block, try inline instead. You might also move the #navigation up in the CSS so it's before the rest of the rules in that div.

StringBuffer not expanding properly, appended text gets cut off

I am trying to use a StringBuffer, but for some reason the String is being capped at 100 chars. For Example:
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
sb.append("This is a test ONE.");
sb.append("This is a test TWO.");
sb.append("This is a test THREE.");
sb.append("This is a test FOUR.");
sb.append("This is a test FIVE.");
sb.append("This is a test SIX.");
sb.append("This is a test SEVEN.");
sb.append("This is a test EIGHT.");
System.out.println(sb.toString());
When I call sb.toString(), the String returned is only 100 chars long. I could manually tell the sb to expand its size, but that really shouldn't be necessary.
Any clue what is going on here?

1) The terminal, console, etc. which is reporting
System.out is not working correctly.I am just using System.out as an example. When running the debugger the String object returned by sb.toString() is only 100 chars long.
Actually, if I step through with the debugger and examine the contents of the StringBuilder, this is what I can see:
sb.value = char[142] // Containing the characters as I append them
sb.count = 72 // Indicating the current length of the String stored in the StringBuffer
For some reason, when trying to append the String which sets the count over 100, the count variable increases but extra characters over 100 aren't actually stored into the value array.
The sb.append() methods internal call to String.getChars(0, len, value, count); is not working properly, although I'm not sure why this would happen.
2) Your not running the class you think you areDefinately running the java.lang.StringBuilder class.

Try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

SSRS web based report viewer control rendering issues - text getting clipped chopped off

Hi,
I am using web based SSRS report viewer control to display SSRS reports in browsers like Chrome, FF, IE, Safari etc. My issue is some text is getting chopped off (clipped) in all cells of some reports. I investigated on my end by analyzing generated HTML
and I could see a problem in the HTML that report viewer control is generating. But I am afraid to apply any HTML or Javascript hacks at the moment considering we have hundreds of reports.
You can see in above image how text got chopped off. The problem in HTML (given below) is the text has been wrapped in a div tag with a fixed height. If I remove the height and also padding on parent TD, the text appears properly.

According to your description, when you display the report with Report Viewer control, the data within the text is cutoff.
Based on my research, the issue could cause by that Arial Unicode MS font hasn’t been installed on the server where Reporting Services run. Besides, when we use ReportViewer control to render report, we’d better set
AsyncRendering="true" in the Report Viewer control. Also please run the IE with compatibility mode. For more information, please refer to similar threads below:
