Anyone with a LR flash gallery that starts with slideshow in play mode?
Can it even be set to do this?
The only code in the style.xml that looks like it might be realted is line 12 <playOptions playMode="pause"/>, changing that to "play" does nothing.

Normally the question mark on the gray screen means it can't find the operating system. Have you tried booting up from the installation DVD? Do that, and when you come to the screen where it wants to begin a system installation you'll notice in the menubar where it say's utilites. Click on that and choose disk utility. from there choose your disk and try to verify and repair the disk. If you can you may want to also try and new install of the system. I don't know how much critical data you have, but reinstalling is an option. did you purcahse you from an Apple store? If you did you may want them to look at it. Hope this helps.

Either the file is corrupt or access to the storrage has failed
I would start by seeing if it will boot with Command + R depressed

Web Gallery in non-Flash format?

Are there any extensions or anything to allow Bridge to Export a Web Gallery into a non-flash format? In my site I am trying to pay particular attention to accessibility and flash is inherently non-accessible, and also does not work with some of the most popular mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, iAnything). Essentially I am looking for some kind of HTML5 Web Gallery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Web gallery problems in flash catalyst. Please help me!

I've made a web gallery in adobe bridge cs5 that I saved to my harddrive as a swf-file. But when I make a blank page in Flash Catalyst and insert that swf-file nothing happens when I try to view it in "run project". What have I missed. It feels like some file is missing or something. I've tried to import the swf-file in a html document in dreamweaver but it is the same problem there. Can someone help me please?

Embedding a Web Gallery in a html page with a Spry menu

I am trying to embed a web gallery I created in Bridge into a web page that has a spry menubar as part of it's code. I was unable to see the gallery on the page and removed the html code associated with the gallery and was trying to start again.
Somewhere along the way, I started getting error messages regarding the spry menu. Although the menu continues to work, I was seeing the message in Dreamweaver which is unusual.
This prompted me to wonder if the code for the creation of the web gallery would interfere in any way with the spry menu.
I don't want to try again to embed without finding out about this. I fortunately had backups of my documents in time machine and no more error messages appear.

How to I get uploaded web gallery photos to auto populate with my events?

When somebody uploads a photo in my web gallery, it syncs with the web gallery on iPhoto. However, it doesn't sync with the original event on iPhoto. I know I can drag the uploaded photo into the event. However, I have many photos and don't know when somebody has uploaded a photo and to which event in web gallery.
Is there any way around this?

Taking this a step further...
I identify the photos that someone else has uploaded to my web gallery.
I select and drag these photos to "Events" in iPhoto, and this creates a new event.
I drag the new event onto the old event to consolidate the photos.
I edit the photos I want to keep and delete the rest.
However, this changes / removes the photos uploaded by the other person in the web gallery. So, what procedure should I have followed to prevent changing / deleting the photos from this person? I would prefer to keep all of the photos in the same event. Will the following work:
1) Select only the photos that I want
2) Create duplicates of them in the web gallery
3) Drag the duplicates to "Events" and consolidate these with my original event
4) Edit the photos
Or, is there a better way?

Not from Apple, no, and probably never will be. You can try one of the third-party app/service combinations for playing Flash such as Skyfire , Puffin, or iSwifter. One of those might work for you, though they all have limitations and do not work with all Flash-based sites and services. You may find other suggestions for apps in the many other threads on Flash in this forum.

PLEASE HELP. my 2007 macbook will not accept the reinstall disc mac os x 10.4.9 after i erased everything. the screen is grey with a flashing folder with ? on it. what can i do to fix it?

i erased everything from my macbook and try to reinstall the MAC os x 10.4.9. but now when i restart my computer the screen is grey with a file folder marked with a "?" flashing. when the dics is already already inserted and i restart it, regardless if i hold down the "c" or "d" key with rebooting, the disc is automatically ejected and then it goes back to the grey screen with the flashing "? folder".
if i was to try and reinstall the "for mac computers" os x 10.5.4 the computer will load the disc and bring me to the language select menu but as soon as i click the "next" button it tells me that the software is not able to be installed on that computer.
i have no clue what to do. the computer was working COMPLETELY fine before i erased something.

Yikes, what happens or shows if you hold the Option or alt key on bootup?
The 10.5.4 Disc at least sounds like a Gray Machine specific Disk, or wrong Partition Scheme!???
Does that one allow Disk Utility to run?
Did you Erase to GUID?

Flash baner bind to XML file

I used a flash baner for my site (that designed by ASP.net) that this baner binded to a xml file that read the image file name frome it.
When I want to use this baner in my site I have a problem that it dosent show with the same code that I use previously .

Sending variable value from php to flash to load an xml file

I would like to load an XML file from the location locally or on the server being unaware of the name of the file. I am using PHP for sending the filename to Flash.
The below is the PHP code:

When I trace the evt.target.data it displays "fileName=mainOpenEndedXML%2Exml" and when I trace evt.target.data.fileName the fileName is properly displayed as "mainOpenEndedXML.xml".
But in the next two lines where the loading occurs it does not load the file i.e the swf file from xml doesn't play.
I have been searching the Internet for answers but not able to find any solutions.
The loading works properly if i directly insert the xml file in the code and the swf's in the XML file play propertly. The below is the code for the same:

Yes. you already said that, but I guess you don't understand what I said. You are loading the PHP fle to get the filename, but nowhere are you taking that filename and loading the file that was named.
You need to do two loading operations. The first one to get the filename, and the second to load the file with that name. Maybe if you name the PHP file loader phpLoader instead of xmlLoader it will start to make more sense to you. Something like the following...
