When building CS6 PhotoShop on Windows XP build hangs at 81%, why?

Do you mean CS6 installer hangs?
Two things  XP is no longer supported my Microsoft so security holes are not beeing address you should update to Windows 7.
Try downloading CS6 installer and try again if the install fails. use these links

I am having a problem with forms builder. When I try to connect to a database, the builder hangs. Report builder from same home works fine, as well as sqlplus and tnsping.
The developer suite is running on windows.
Has anyone run into this problem?
    thanks in advance,

    Hi Mark,
What is the version of forms and database ?
Also you can try re-installing the forms.

  • Builder hang

    I use labview 7.1 , nidaqmxbase 1.5  on a LINUX system
    I use a NI PCI 6220 DAQ
i detect a problem when i want to build a vi using the nidaqmxbase "start task vi". The builder finish with the message "error 1003 with  67xx  boardconfig vi  possible reason the vi is not executable....
    Why 67XX ???
the application run well in labview environment
    I try to made an " alt shift run" on the application  and it also hang, even if  there is only this subvi "start task.vi";
I also made an "mass compil" of the daqmxbase directory  no result
The builder hang also on an vi example "acq one sample.vi" with the same message. this example use the "start task .vi " . It doesn't hang anymore when  I supress this subvi...or when it run in labview environment.
Is it a basic bug ?? have a solution ??
I don' t find any solution on the forum...
Im quit deseperate because i lost a lot of time because of this
    BERNARD ROSSINI

This case was yet uncheck because i had an "other" hang of builder !!!
alt shift RUN (white arrow) on the application run a compilation of it.... (alt on linux ctrl on window)
I tried to make the same on a LV 7.1 for XP  and i have the same hang up ?!!!
is it a basic problem  of LV or not ?
or perhaps a problem of interface (DAQ) installation ?
Do I have to install DAQ  AFTER nidaq installation ?
I shall search on this way
    Thanks

  • Linux app builder hangs with daqmxbase 1.5.0-f2

Having a problem building apps on linux using daqmxbase 1.5.
    Test machines are:
A fresh installation of Suse 9.2 (kernel 2.6.8) on a Dell SC420 to which I added Labview 7.1, Appbuilder and daqmxbase 1.5.0-f2. Building our app fails on the "Copying files to application" part - the progress bar hangs at about 40% complete. The Labview windows become unresponsive, disk i/o stops and the process has to be killed.
I tried building some of the NI examples to pin down a possible issue with our vi but the same thing seems to happen with any example that has a daq component.
Normalize Waveform example - builds and runs fine
Signal generation and processing example - builds and runs fine
    Our app - hangs
USB-6008/9 Interactive Control Panel - hangs
Count digital events buffered continuous ext clk example - hangs
In case there was an issue with Suse or 2.6.8 I tried a fresh install of Redhat 9 (2.4.20) on a different box, added labview, appbuilder, daqmxbase 1.5 and the same thing happens - the builder hangs.
Figuring that the builder might need some hardware in order to build an app properly I also gave it a shot with a USB 6009 plugged in - same result.
Being new to labview I'm unsure whether there are any specific log files I can provide that will help track down this problem - /var/log/messages has nothing.
    Any ideas?

I've tried different kernels (the machines are P4 w/HT so the installer defauls to an smp kernel). Currently running linux 2.6.8-24.10-default #1 Wed Dec 22 11:54:27 UTC 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux. I've tried various other smp and non-smp kernels.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Labview, app builder and daqmxbase in various sequences. I've even reinstalled the entire Suse 9.2 OS and played with various grub and BIOS options. I've tried with the vanilla OS install and after applying the available patches through YaST.
I should point out that the app runs fine in Labview itself and compiles without errors on Windows.
There were no errors reported when installing Labview or daqmxbase and nothing in the system log.
I'm at a complete loss. The app builder fails every time, on different boxes, and it 100% reproducable.
I guess I'll give Mandriva 10 a try. In the meantime.... help! Message Edited by PaulSmith on 06-17-2005 11:52 AM

    Imran,
The information from alert log file is not sufficient.
Can you log switch on primary and monitor whether it is archiving in standby or not.
and you can monitor the changes in "v$managed_standby"
Also check for the errors using "v$dataguard_status"
    SQL> select error_cdoe, message, timestamp from v$dataguard_status where dest_id=<n>;

  • Blazeds_src_3-0-0-544 build hangs building testdrive-remoteobject

I'm trying to build the 3.0.0.544 source. My 'ant main' works fine until it gets to the testdrive-remoteobject directory where it hangs forever building target compile-swf. I did a 'ant clean' before main.
Any ideas what might be going on?
    Thanks
    Vijay

Adding execute permissions to the mxmlc executable should work.
Also, there is an existing BlazeDS bug tracking non-windows build issues: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/BLZ-68
You can add your issue to the comments section of this bug. You can also vote for it, which will increase its probability of getting fixed earlier.

  • New Build hangs at VERIFYING DMI POOL DATA

I put it all together and try to load the XP OS, but it hangs at Verifying DMI Pool Data.......(NTLDR is missing)
Have rechecked the cables and connections a half dozen times. (All new cables)
Checked and rechecked the boot order.
    Disconnected the floppy.
I tried swapping to another HDD with a SATA, but I don't see it recognized during post, and I still get error message.
I put in an XP ms-dos starup floppy and it says update success, but won't system file transfer and goes back to the original error message.
    What's up here?
I little surfing lead me to this link       http://www.duxcw.com/faq/computer/dmi.html
which says a possible cure might be clearing the CMOS.
I supposed that's done by changing the jumpers right?
But, I have searched this website and can't find any Bios downloads for the K8N Neo2.
If I clear the CMOS I'll need to DL BIOS again right?
I am sure the original V1.A is outdated anyway.
Suggestions? I don't want to go rooting around and changing things and make this worse.
This is my 2nd build and the 1st wasn't easy either.

yes just BOOT from CD and reinstall XP... better reformat partition which contains XP. if you have important things on this partition not only OS move it to secondary partition or to other HDD.

  • Exported ANT build hangs on clean target

I've exported an ant build file. When I try to run this ANT build file from the command line, it stalls on a clean target in the portal project.
The custom controls project compiles fine, and the same with data project (which part of the standard portal setup), but when the real portal projects starts to build it hangs with the following trace:
[wlwBuild] [Build] Application Build Status: tk_portal
    [wlwBuild] [Build] BUILD STARTED
    [wlwBuild] [Build] build:
    [wlwBuild] [Build] clean:
It's a rather large portal project.
    Anyone experienced something similar?

Most likely you're seeing a Windows file sharing violation issue. It's likely that the other process holding the file you're trying to delete is WebLogic itself. You could try stopping the server before you do the command-line build.
It's handy to have a tool like "ProcessExplorer" from SysInternals for situations like this. You can use it to determine which processes have a file handle open. You can use SysInternal's "FileMon" tool to see what file handles are being referenced in real-time.

  • Flash Builder hangs a lot

Guys, seriously, Flash Builders hangs in all our machines like 4-5 times a day. If you press CTRL+F2 to terminate the debugging session, it hangs 1 in 2. I think that you have serious problems with the multithreading.
Debugging is hellish, more or less 10% of the times it can't connect with the debugger and gets stuck in the 57% (waiting to connect).
The bridge between the debugger and the flash player is weak! For instance, If you close the browser before the connection with the debugger, flash builder doesnt realize it and hangs (not responding...)
Why do you have so many problems with the Flash Player connection??? You need to drop the current approach and choose something more solid!
In overall, the flash builder experience is poor.
    I still remember the bug:
    http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-16153
But you didn't launch a new flex in order to solve it. We waited for Flash Builder to come. And it is still weak!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Morearty has let??? Who is working in Flash Builder? Please, make it rock solid!!!
And, by the way, I love Flex 4. The spark skinning. The states syntax. The two-way binding. It is incredible! You have improved over the Microsoft work in WPF. It is simpler and more elegant. Please, repair Flash Builder.

My Flash Builder 4 (Version 4.0.1 build 277662) also hangs (1-2 times per day).   It can hang randomly, but often I think it's related to the Content Assist window getting stuck.
I run it on Windows 2003 Server SP2 with 1.5GB RAM.     I generally launch apps to IIS 6 and use IE7 for the browser.
My only recovery is to kill the Flashbuilder task and start it up again.     I'm pretty much in the "save and save often" mode nowadays.    Especially when I'm doing anything that might bring up the Content Assist window.
    I've included a jstack trace.
    Thanks.

  • Workflow builder Hanges on saving to Database

    hi friends ....
I am using workflow 2.5......while i was done with everything....................i choose File ->save as -> database .....then i have given username and password with connect string.....
I am connecting to Oracle R12 with Apps account.......
After I pressed OK button...it just hangs out.......for 10 minutes....and then I have to go to task manager and kill its process
but when I connect to database for opening a file.....it is connecting without any errors.....
please help me....how to save ,,in database without this ??

Do not use the builder to save directly to the database, specially if your workflow definition becomes large. Instead, save the file locally and ftp it to the server and use WFLOAD to upload it into the database. It is much faster.
Check the WF Administrator guide on how to use it, but here it is anyway:
The Workflow Definitions Loader program is located on your server in the bin subdirectory of the Oracle Home directory structure
Run the program from your operating system prompt as follows (replacing <username/password@database> with the username, password and Oracle Net connect string or alias to your database):
To apply a seed data upgrade to a database from an input file, type:
    wfload <username/password@database> <input_file>
To upload process definitions from an input file to a database, type:
    wfload –u <username/password@database> <input_file>
    For instance
    WFLOAD -u owf_mgr/<password> MYWFDEF.wft.

  • Application Builder hangs on Processing Merge Errors.vi

I am having a problem building my applciation as an executeable in 8.2.1.  During the build process, LabVIEW hangs indeffinately while Processing Merge Errors.vi.  I have mass compiled my source directory, and my LabVIEW directory.  I have even repaired all of the NI software that I have installed.  I have also created a new project and build specification from scratch in case that was corrupted.  I created a test project where the only VI was a call to Merge Errors.vi and this build just fine into an .exe.  I am at a loss to what the problem is or how I can fix it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks,

    Hi Faraclas,
What operating system are you using? Does it only hang when you have this vi? Can
you create an executable without this vi?

  • IOS Export Release Build hangs with FB4.7

I recently updated to FB4.7 running AIR 3.4 on my Macbook Air under Lion 10.7.5.
My project contains a large number of embeded files and when debugging under FB4.6 I was often encountering Java Heap Errors and lots of out of memory errors. However, I was able to put up with those errors and still export working release builds.
Under FB4.7 I am able to compile DEBUG builds now without the problems I was having under FB4.6. However, when I attempt to export an iOS release build using the IDE under FB4.7 the process always just hangs (at Packaging 0%) and never completes (even after waiting hours).
If I create a small test project under FB4.7, I am able to export a release build successfully. So I believe my FB install is working.
I've tried bumping up the xms and xmx settings in the Flash Builder 4.7.ini file to 2048m, but that has made no difference to the problem.
I suspect that the large number of embeded files that I have in my project may be contributing to the problem. The embeded files are primarily all UI artwork as my app supports all the different iOS screen resolutions.
Short of restructuring my entire project to remove all the embeded files (which I really do not want to do at this point) is there anything else that can be done to get FB4.7 to succesfully export an iOS release build?

    Hi Sanjay,
Thanks for the quick reply! Hereby the extra info:
    1. -Xmx2048m
    2. We are using ATF files with all three textures included (around 14 MB for @2x and 8 MB for @1x). We could exclude the DXT and ETC ones, but than we need to create them for all separately. Thereby we are not done with the project so the size will still increase, than it is a solution for a short time.
    3. I just tried with the following results:
At the beginning it is giving some warnings:

  • Build hanging up at transition render

DSP 4.0.3 - During the build of project, it hangs up at "Rendering Transition VTS VOB 1" every time. If I strip the project of transitions, the build completes successfully. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reformatted, updated, etc. Ideas?

Are you using DVD SP to compress your video? This is not uncommon to happen. The solution is to encode your video in Compressor to a MPEG-2 file (and your audio to an AC3 file while you are at it.) Then bring those files into DVD SP and burn.

  • Almost new build hangs on Starting windows 7 screen

I "upgraded" an old build with the motherboard and processor. I have the OC genie selected in the bios. Without reformatting my drive I started to have a hang on "windows is starting". If I rebooted and ran a repair it would usually work, but the next time I reboot I had to run the repair again. Sometimes I get this error, sometimes I do not. I decided to reformat and do a clean install. I am still getting the hangs.
    Specs:
Mobo:             MSI Gaming z87 GD65 (updated to 1.2 bios)
    Processor:      i7 - 4770k w/ H50 water cooler
    SSD:               512 GB vertex 4
Video Card:    2x GTX 780 acx cooler evga SC
    Power supply:Corsair 850 TX Bronze
    Ram:              16gb (4x4) Corsair Vengeance 1600
    Internet:        AC66 internet adapter
    Mouse/Keyboard: Roccat Kone/Isku
    O/S: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    Old build was
    Processor:   i7-2600k
    Mobo:          Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3
Video Card: 1x GTX 780 acx cooler evga SC
Everything else was the same parts
Here is what I have tried.
    1. Updated BIOS
    2. Reformat/fresh install with USB iso downloaded online. (3-4 times)
    3. Startup repair/restore system image (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.)
    4. Re-seated Memory
    5. Tried a 120gb Intel SSD (520)
    Possibilities?
    1. Power supply is having issues? Is 850 too small? I read another article where some people replaced the PSU and it fixed their issue. This power supply worked with my old mobo/i7-2600k, so I don't think this is the issue, but it could since the 780s are overclocked and the processor is overclocked to 4.0 with the OC genie.
    2. Windows update? After my fresh install, I usually didn't have any problems until I installed windows updates, BUT, I only updated a few and restarted a few times to make sure it worked. I installed the updates and it worked fine for a few reboots, then this morning I checked and it's hanging again. This also wouldn't explain why it was working before I put the new mobo in, as it was up to date.
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty tech savvy and I don't normally ask for help on forums, but this issue has become out of my hands. Thanks in advance.

I've heard some people replace the power supply. I use the Corsair TX 850. I don't mind buying a new one, but I don't want to waste time if it's not going to fix anything.
Is the PSU on the Corsair Website's Z87 compatibility list? I'm using a Corsair AX850W currently with the Z87 MPower Max, all seems to be ok after a bit of an OS loading debacle was overcome.
Why the graphics cards manufacturers didn't use a VBIOS that works for both Legacy and UEFI (GOP) I'll never understand!
Maybe for testing, try using a regular 'spinner' HDD with the OS on it?
