Build mapping using the CONNECT BY logic...?

Environment:
OWB 10g Client on Windows XP Professional
Repository - 9.2.0.4 on UNIX (AIX 5.2)
Target - 9.2.0.4 - on UNIX (AIX 5.2)
Is it possible to create a summary table mapping that uses the CONNECT BY hierarchical logic of SQL?
I realize that I can put it in a procedure and execute that procedure as a post-mapping event, but in this case I need the procedure to be the only activity going on in the mapping.
I can also plug the SQL into a materialized view but I wanted to see if there was some functionality that I was not getting from the documentation.

I think your solution of making a procedure and calling it in a mapping is the best idea. But since you said that that there would be nothing else in the mapping, I believe you have to do a dummy mapping. That is, map the fact / dimension to itself, with the load type of the target fact/ dimension to 'NONE'. Also, set the operator property of the pre-mapping process to execute 'ALWAYS'.

the "reportFileName". This was only realised on checking the ODBC Trace
Log. The connection itself is not a problem. The problem is that the embedded
connection information is related to OLD production system. And failed
connections had raised some concerns.
Note: I am using
SetDataSource to populate the data for the report. So I don't need the
connection.
Is there any way I

Help using the Connection Trunk command

Hello Group,
I could use a bit of assistance accomplishing the following.
I have two Cisco 1760 Routers with a WIC 1/DSU T1 and one VIC2/E/M in each router. I am new to CLI commands and could use some tips.
I would like to set up these routers (I will call them Router A and Router B) to communicate with each other via a internal IP network which spans between two seperate locations.
I would like to set up these routers to use the E&M ports to send and receive audio between locations. The E&M ports are connected to my external equipment which allows for transmit and receive audio to be delivered to the E&M port.
I need to be able to allow for the routers to use 2 wire or 4 wire audio between locations, which is matched at both ends.   The routers do not dial phone numbers nor are phones in use at all. Basically the routers are going to be used to send and receive two way radio voice between the locations which the radios are interfaced to the E&M ports.
Can anyone please help me on configuring these routers to accomplish this and if I need to use the Connection Trunk command I can do so, as this is the only purpose of the routers is to relay audio between locations.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, However I have allready configured the routers to link the LMR sites together.   I have been connecting LMR assets utilizing ROIP for many years using non-cisco equipment which is specifically designed for ROIP, I have a large inventory of 1760 routers which were originally used for Telco applications which were replaced by newer equipment. The fact that the routers have become "obsolete" does not mean that they are not usable for my application.   How can you make a statement that this is "limited equipment" when the intended use of this equipment for my application has been accomplished without limitations which are specific to my operation.
I posted a request on this forum to obtain some help in the configuration of these devices from people who are familiar with the 1760 router. Your response was the first response which I had received in regards to my request for assistance, I thank you for at least attaching a link to some resources which I can utilize. Utilizing the services of a "reputable consultant" or "UC certified partner" would be acceptable in some circumstances, however utilizing the services which would be provided by such would only pose limitations on our technical skills. I do not want to have to rely on a third party consultants to acheive what is engineered and desgned in house by our staff.
I am not looking to purchase new equipment, nor am I looking for consulting help on this issue as we manage and deploy equipment in house. Enlisting the services of a consultant or certified partner for our Cisco equipment deployments would only add unnecessary costs and time to deploy equipment. Again thank you for the link to the examples.

I think that PC Suite is not support your Bluetooth driver. Here you can find what drivers are supported:

Anyway, if Microsoft's BT driver support your BT HW, you can try to that stack also...
So, if you want to try to use MS BT driver:
1. Go to Control Panel, System, Hardware and Device Manager.
2. Open Bluetooth Devices, select that device, click Action, Uninstall and OK.
3. Click Action and Scan for hardware changes.
(windows should automatic install MS BT driver)

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Nokia PC Suite: Version 7.1.60.0
I cannot use bluetooth & USB connection. When I try to select it in the Connection Manager I get an error message " Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available. (Code: OpenMedia) ". I have tried to reinstall nokia pc suite but no result. The connection worked before. The PC Suite of my computer was upgraded and now the bluetooth & usb are not working any more.

I am not sure whether this will solve your problem but you could try this once.
1. Disconnect your phone from PC if connected.
2 .Open Control Panel and go to ‘Programs and Features’
3. From the list of available programs, choose ‘Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver’
4. Click on the ‘Change’ button on top toolbar.
5. In the setup dialog box that pops up next, choose ‘Repair’ and select ok. Wait for setup to complete.
6. Restart the computer if prompted.
7. Now connect your phone to the PC. Driver installation should complete and PC/Ovi suite (hopefully) should detect your mobile properly now.

Even bandwidth and latency of RTMFP are minimum. FMS Enterprise may still need to monitor each peer when using RTMFP connections.
So can I use the connection capacity of FMIS to estimate the FMS Enterprise?

Smokerz was suggesting that you temporarily bring the Express upstairs, connect it & configure it, and then take it back down stairs again.
As for your desired setup:
Actually, if configured correctly, your Time Capsule should the source of your network and the Express should be the devise joining/extending it. This is the way I have it set up. However, you seem to want to configure it the other way around. Not very practical.

Hi Brian, I am curious about this use case - what's the reason you are looking to do it using the API? You can create several objects using the API and the most typical use case we have observed is where mapping developers create a pattern or what we call as a "template" - which is a mapping with various properties parameterized. For example you can create a mapping with the filter parameterized, or define a very generic mapping with source, target and the field map between those all parameterized. Once you do that, you can create a "task" for this mapping (known as Mapping Configuration Task) - that can be done using our UI or using our REST API. If you choose the latter, you can pass on parameter values as part of the API request. I was wondering about creating a mapping using the API. It clearly states in the Dev guide that this is possible, but when I perform a get mapping request, I don't see all the information given for a certain object. For example, I don't see an expression in the mapping object (although one exists when I view the object in Cloud). Has anyone else done this? Is it easy to create objects via the API? Thanks!

I am facing the problem with the usage for the Connection Pool.
I want to use DB2 via JNDI lookup.
But when starting the Weblogic server, Error occured with the following message.

DB2 and Weblogic are on the same machine.
In case of the use of remote DB2 database, I also encountered the same error.

Perhaps It's my fault for Weblogic console's setting.
After I reset the target server in console, Error message disappeared.
But, when I call the TestCode, I encountered another error message. The error
is NameNotFoundException.
When lookingup the JNDI name, NameNotFoundException errer occured. I tried to
change my setting and JNDI name, but the results are the same.

How can I use the three new Logic drummers in Garage Band?

I have the latest version of GarageBand and the latest version of MainStage, but I have not upgraded to the latest version of Logic. However, the three new drummers available with the latest update to Logic are now visible in Drummer for GarageBand. When I click on one, GarageBand asks me to download (yet again) 5 GB of content. This download has never allowed me to use the new drummers. I have restarted in Safe Boot mode and tried the installation that way, but I get the same result.

GarageBand '11 requires an internal optical drive, and the newest GarageBand 10.0 as well.
Insert a recordable CD in your computer’s optical drive.Before burning, be sure your computer supports the recordable CD you are using. Only computers with disc-burning capability can be used to burn a song to a CD.
Choose Share > “Burn Song to CD.”
Added: It does not help, to share the song to iTunes and burn a playlist from iTunes, since iTunes requires an internal optical drive as well.

The Statement that I used is just for explanation. I didn't tried it to print. However DBLinks couldn't be created. This Package is Only for Reproting Purpose and Creating DBLINK will Not be Allowed.
Besides If a new Instance Comes into Picture Then I have to create DBLINK for that also.
When SQL plus connect to a instance using TNS entry-- I want to know how the connection object is achieved and used. IP/Prot/SID/User/pass will be provided by User.
Let me explain the problem first. I want a Package in one instance. It has a procedure to generate a report. Now all the instances are identical. So, the package will connect to any instance and thus the report could be generated for any instances without deploying the package in each instance.
Plesae assist me what should be the best approach.(DBLINK Couldn't be created)

Is there a way to import tracks without using the mouse in Logic Pro?

From the user manual:
You can import existing audio recordings by simply dragging them from the Media area, shown at the right of the Arrange window.
My question is: is there a way to do this without dragging it with a mouse? I'd like to use a shortcut to open a browse folder and select a file. The reason for this is that I am nearly blind and I can't use my mouse for dragging because I can't see it.
