Build-time Warning for EJB DC: Package is not reserved

Hi,
I have created an EJB DC and added a session bean into it.
Now while building I am getting following warning :-
Checking package reservation
Warning: Package com.vendor.we_kmapi.sessionbeans.kmopbessionbean is not reserved for DC : lda/sclda/we_kmapi.
Package reservation check finished in 0 seconds
How do I get read of this warning?
Please help.
Thanks and regards,
Amey Mogare

Hi Amey,
I think you need to reserve name in SLD by using Name Reservation. Please try it in SLD and try to build you project.

  • How to use time capsule for wireless back-up but not internet?

    Hello,
I have a tower and recently a laptop at work. The tower is connected to our local network with an ethernet cable and the laptop with wireless. So, the internet connection is fine for both.
I was hoping to use my time capsule to do time machine backups on my laptop. Do you have any advice on how to configure this? I do not want to use the time capsule to extend my Internet, as I believe my work I.T. would prefer to handle all access to their  network.
Perhaps there is some documentation about doing this that you could point me to? I have not been able to find it.
    Thank you for your help.

Your original question was How to use Time Capsule for wireless back-up but not Internet?
There is no reason for you to connect the tower....or anything else...using Ethernet if your goal remains that same as you stated.
If you are asking if you can backup the Tower using Ethernet, and not wireless, then you can connect the tower to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule....not the WAN port.
Yes, it appears to work without plugging into my tower.
    Correct, it will work.
I just have to select the network that it created. Of course, I have no access to the Internet while this is happening and it can not auto backup, unless I am on that wireless signal.
As I stated, that is the downside to trying to back up without an Internet connection.  You have to establish another network...and backup over that network.
If you are asking if you can stay connected to the work network while also backing up to your non-Internet "private" network, that is not possible.

  • [yaourt] Keep sources/build files only for specific AUR packages

    Hi,
By default, packages are build in BUILDDIR=/tmp/makepkg, which itself usually is a virtual dir in RAM. I generally like this behaviour, so I don't wanna change the BUILDDIR variable to point to a dir on the harddisk, but for a few packages I'd welcome the sources/build dir to be kept, e.g. for *-git packages to reduce build time on consecutive updates. Is there a neat Arch-way to tell the makepkg system to use a different dir (i.e., one on the harddisk) for specific packages? It'd be even greater to be able to use wildcards as well, so I could just enable this option for all *-git packages.
And as I said, I generally like the idea of building in RAM so the trick to just let BUILDDIR point to a dir on my hdd and put a command in some shutdown-script to delete all but the directories ending in -git wouldn't be perfect
    Cheers

Oh you're right in that BUILDDIR isn't set by default. I use yaourt for building AUR packages, so this is a yaourt related question, oops. I'll ask in the appropriate forum...
Some packages are only available as git packages, and that for a good reason. Some git repository maintainers follow the good working principle to always have their master branch stable and deployable and do development and testing in respective branches to keep master clean. E.g. I maintain 2 git packages on the AUR, and there are no other "stable" options, also as git makes sense for these packages.
And sometimes you just need a more up2date version

  • Building Application for SCXI 1530, App will not call 1530 properly

    Hello,
I'm working on building an application for a SCXI 1530. I have a scxi 1000 module with a scxi 1600-usb card. In slot 2 is the 1530 for accelerometers and in slot 4 is a card for lvdts (1540).
I'm using labview developer suite 8.2.1 on a desktop to develop an application for a laptop. Right now I have created 2 very simple beta programs. One calls the 1540 for accelerometers and it works properly. Ready 1000 hz for 4 seconds. The other application with the accelerometer is the one I'm having trouble with.
    Here is what I know:
Both applications were developed using DAQmx to setup the data acquisition event.
Both applications work properly on the desktop, when run as a vi, and as a compiled application.
The LVDT application runs properly on the laptop.
The accelerometer application does not run on the laptop.
The Measurement and Automation software shows that the 1530 (accelerometer card) is properly configured and that it is named identical to the desktop.
The measurement and automation software will collect what looks to be reasonable acceleration data when configured to do so with a finite data collection of 1000 Hz.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Paul

    Kent,
Here are some answers to your questions and a followup on my current status.
First let me describe my program a bit. Basically within a while loop there is a case loop controlled by a 'run' button. When that 'run' button is pushed the program is to collect data. On the desktop it works perfectly collecting real data. On the laptop the first time the run button is pushed after starting the application nothing happens. None of the graphs or indicators change their apperance or value. If I push the run button again, the graphs change to an x-axis range of -1 to 1, and maximum value indicators range from -10 to -45 (that seems to be pretty random). One more thing the program is set to record 4 seconds of data at 4kHz. All this time there are no errors and the program continues to run.
One of the first things I checked was to validate the name being the same, and those are identical. The next thing I checked was to make sure that the 1530 was working properly using the NIDAQmx test panels in measurement and automation. Everything there seemd to work fine and appeard to be recording reasonable data.
Late last night I decided that I'd reinstall drivers on the laptop. Thinking 'what could it hurt?' After reinstalling the drivers the application works on the laptop. So I suppose the lesson I learned was even though the MEasurement and Automation test panels work when in doubt re-install drivers.
As of now everything appears to be working properly.

  • Time change for daylight savings and Alarms not working correctly

we have 3 iPhones in our house. 2 were set to auto time change for daylight saving and one wasn't. 1 did the auto time change with out an issue and all alarms worked ok. The other 2 have had issues with not been able to set the alarms ie set alarm for 0630 and it goes off at 0530 even though the time is set correctly. The 1 that was set to autotime worked fine until I switch auto time off, now the alarms on this one wont work either. well they work but just at the wrong time. The 3rd phone will allow alarms to be set, but the alarm will go off an hour earlier and this phone will not allow the alarm to be set for 0630 at all.
Has anyone had this issue and resolved it. It makes getting up for shift work a right pain..

  • HT3728 i want to use my time capsule for back-ups only and not connect it to the internet

I live in digs and with perfectly good wi-fi.  Therefore, I simply want to use my Time Capsule for backing up my iMac.  Airport Utility doesn't seem to want to let me do this and insists I connect the unit to the internet first.

I gave full info for how to do this setup in this thread with screen shots..
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4817218?tstart=30
Any of it you don't follow just ask.
The TC is really a complex thing to use, when you don't do it as Apple designed it.. and in fact on your iMac an external drive will be cheaper, faster and more reliable than a TC. But I guess you already have it so may as well use it.

  • Can I use my time capsule for back up only and not as a router?

I have been trying to set up my time capsule as a router but have not been successful, the dsl I am using is not responding. Can I just use my time capsule as a back up device and not as a router? if so how can I do this?

Yes, you can. Simply plug the TC via Ethernet into the current router and set it up in bridge mode.

  • Setting Run-time parameters for EJB objects

    Hello,
I need to set a run-time paramater that will be used by the session beans in my
application. I looked thru the documentation, but I'm not finding an obvious
    way to do this.
In weblogic-application.xml, there is an <application-parameter> element that
seems promising, but I can't find a weblogic method for getting the value of this
    element from within an EJB.
Any ideas on the best way to do this?
    Thank you

    Ellen,
There is no global <env-entry> that you can use currently, but you can make
    an
<env-entry> in the EJB module's descriptors for each session bean that needs
    the run-time parameter.
the <application-parameter> element you speak of is not a place that
    arbitrary
values can be placed and obtained. That element is used to by the server
and there are a specific set of values that are recognized
as override options for the server to use for the application.

  • Setting up time capsule for storage and printer, but not internet

Hi all. I am a new mac user and got time capsule yesterday. I am only using it as storage and USB printer; not for an internet/network use. During setup, I didn't see any option to configure it this way. I did a backup successfully, but the amber light blinks continuously....I am assuming because there's no ethernet/modem? But if I don't intend to use it for that, is it normal for it to always blink amber? Should I find a way to tell it that it's not to be used for that? Or do I just ignore it and live with the blinking light? Thanks.

Paul's suggestion did work - thank you!
However, my anal retentive personality still wonders why there's not a more intuitve phase in the setup process that allows the user to clearly define what they're using it for....i.e. rather than manually override an "error".
Of course, i do have new questions, too -
If the capsule is connected to a computer both wirelessly and with ethernet, which is the preferred/default connection used?
The setup tells me to update firmware, but i haven't yet and it seems to be running fine....any recommendations?

  • The time on my firefox browser is not correct. How do I set the time zone for Firefox? It is not the same as my mac computer setting?

I am using a hotmail acount with bigpond. The time that it says I sent an email is out by 11 hours... can you please tell me how to set my firefox browser to be at the right time? My mac is set at the right time zone...

I was able to do what you suggested, and the time listed in the code field was correct. However, when I sent a test email to myself on the bigpond site, it said it was received at 8:04am when it was actually 18:04. So there is an error of more than half a day. I have a snapshot of the screen if that is helpful. I asked Bigpond about this and they said it was a Firefox problem... Please advise.

  • Time Warner monthly fee V's apple tv

I presently pay $123 a month to time Warner for cable box HD ability and internet
Will the appletv help me eliminate the cable tv part of my fee
I guess at this point no local news however, right
What exactly will I be enjoying IMMEDIATELY?

I dropped cable two years ago. I get by with over the air HD reception only, with about 18 usable (non-religious and english language) channels (Atlanta area). That includes all four majors, three PBS, and a bunch of old movie channels. Yes, I miss some of the cable offerings, but not enough to justify exorbitant cable bills and lousy service.
I jumped at the new Apple TV. It is a no-brainer for me. Netflix streamed to my tv, plus cherry picking stuff from iTunes. I am also excited about the potential for Airplay. Whether or not Apple Tv will enable you to comfortably drop cable service depends almost entirely on how addicted you and your family are to certain cable offerings that you will have to forgo with the new setup.

I also tried now using an Airport Express (firmware version 6.3) as my main router and I have the same problems described above.
The firmware version for the Apple Extreme is 7.3.2

  • Time Warner Cable and wifi router

I am about to get Time Warner broadband in my new house (was relying on MiFi for several months) and I bought an airport extreme which I plan to use as my router. Now, I see that Time Warner offers a "broadband cable modem with built-in wireless router." I am inclined to pass on this and just set things up with the Airport Extreme. Anyone have any pro / con experience with this?

The key to helping you make your decision is that the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) does NOT have a built-in modem so you will still need a modem in order to access your ISP's Internet service. If Time Warner offer a modem-only option, then that would be the one I would recommend to go along with the AEBSn for Internet connectivity.
FWIW. I do not have Time Warner for my ISP; instead I use Cox and use their provided DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem with my AEBSn without a hitch. I currently get the rated service that they are providing me with Internet download speeds to all of my network clients in the 50-55 Mbps range.
