follow the path Technical Information - > Building Block Lib.
At the moment SAP has only released V1.2007 which is valid for 7.0 as well.

see ICM never goes independently,so you wonnt have any help on ICM alone,it works in collabvoration with different transactional data,like opportun ity and channel management.

Error while building B2B for CRM 2007

Hi All
I am trying to make few changes in B2B application for CRM 2007.
I have created projects for crmisawebb2bsap.com and crmhomeshrextsap.com
But whenever I try to build anyone of them.
There is a error.
Build log -

Did you find the issue? I'm trying to install binutils and the gcc toolchain on my laptop. I was able to get it to work (randomly) on my desktop a year ago (http://nakedproof.blogspot.com/2012/09/ … linux.html), but the same steps aren't working anymore.

Is anyone aware of a Building Block for Blackboard and iTunesU?

We are having some difficulties getting our authentication up and running using our Blackboard system as the transfer authority to iTunesU. We are trying this with the Perl script but may not be working at this right. I thought that there might be enough Blackboard users and programming gurus out there that perhaps someone is working on a Building Block to use with Blackboard and iTunesU.

We have a process to go from Desire2Learn to iTunesU. You should be able to do the same sort of thing with blackboard.
What we did, is we setup a javascript post request coming out of Desire2Learn. This post request contains the course name, username and a few other important bits of information. This request goes to one of our servers which processes the passed information, and generates the necessary itunes tokens and then startes the itunes u authentication process.
There is no reason why you couldn't do something similiar in blackboard. Either way, you are going to need a "middleman" server to intercept the request out of Blackboard, and then process it and iniatiate the iTunes U authentication process.

IDOCs for CRM

Hi,
I've read about CRM Middleware, ALE/EDI and the usage of IDOCs for communication between SAP CRM and Non SAP System.
I need to see the existing IDOCs that can be used for CRM.
For example I need an IDOC for a Service Order... this is just an example, how can I search them?

This depends how you book the cost.
Following are the possibilities:
1) With a standard activity defined in routing as an inspection operation. Then this activity type could be given a separate cost element. Then it would be possible to get these Quality costs from Production orders. (The configuration for this is similar to any other activity type configuration)
2) Internal orders could be created for carrying the quality costs. These could be costs which are not relevant to any specific order like calibration activities. (The internal order is created by CO and will be part of CO configurations)
The cummulation of the above would be the total quality cost.

New Problems with iTunesU Blackboard Building Block

We sucessfully installed the ITunesU Building Block for Blackboard in December 2009. This past month we started getting error messages from apple.com and now I'm unable to change any of the settings linking iTunes to Blackboard and our instructors are unable to access their iTunesU pages. We've checked with our authentication experts on campus and I checked in with Vanderbilt, who produced the building block, and they're both unable to fix the problem. Can anyone help us resolve this problem?

Hi Paul,
That URL (though incomplete) is the first step in the "old school" way of using the iTunes U web service. "GetUpladURL" asks Apple to send you a temporary URI into which you can POST (upload) something to iTunes U…in your case, an "XML control file", otherwise known as a web service request. Typical web service requests would be to, say, add a tab to a course, or to change a permission for a course, etc. The reason that the URL is incomplete is because it lacks a credential (usually "Administrator" in the case of the web service) and other query string elements (Identity, timestamp, and signature) to make it the request "work".
So it looks like the BB block wants to "do" something on your iTunes U site…create a course or a tab, for example…but it might not be able to do so because the URI it sends is incomplete. Is it possible that the BB block cannot access the info it requires?…your admin cred, say?…or your shared secret?

BB building block available

We have created our own building block for integrating Blackboard and iTunes U. It is functionally a little different than Aaron's that was posted in another thread.
It works with our BB install (W2K3 + BB 6.3.1.645 + MSSQL2000)and is built with many assumptions.
--A request is received from a faculty member wanting an iTunes U course and we provide a key which they enter in the control panel much like a course cartridge. The key is used as the ${IDENTIFIER}
--In our BB Faculty have a new course for each term but we didn't want to do that for iTunes U courses so iTunes U courses can have many associated BB courses. A BB course can only have one iTunes U course.
--We already have an additional DB on the BB DB server that we use for other functions we have created for BB and this building block has two very simple tables for tracking the courseID and ${IDENTIFIER}
--An instructor uses a new Content Item which adds links in the content area to the iTunes U course/course tab either by dragging the link or copy/paste.
--All non-public media must be accessed via Blackboard.
--Creating iTunes U courses is a manual process using only two credentials and a unique key for the ${IDENTIFIER}.

For the beifit of others looking for this question,
To create a building block : /smb/bbi -- > building block builder. --> create new Building blocks.
This has to be attached to a scenario and inturn to a solution.
To downlad the variant files : Go to Transaction SECATT --> Enter the eCatt configutation name --> click on display.
Now in the Edit Menu, you can see the option to download variant files.

How to Create Track in NWDI for CRM ISA 5.0

can anyone please suggest me how to create track in NWDI for CRM ISA 5.0 for different archive files which consists of source files like(ex: SAP-SHRAPP.SCA,SAP-SHRWEB.SCA, e.t.c.) and as well as empty source files like(ex: SAP-SHRAPP.SCA,SAP-SHRWEB.SCA, e.t.c.).
As far as i know SAP does not deliver sources for SCs SAP-JEE,SAP_BUILDT and SAP_JTECHS so we cant have them as "Developed Software Components" when we eg:want to modify the SCs SAP-SHRAPP.SCA or CUSTCRMPRJ.SCA.
here what i want to know is depending on which SCs we actually want to modify, based on that our track want to be Configured differently.
My question is how to configure the Track in NWDI for this kind of scenario.
If the source is not given and only required software components are given then how to create track in NWDI. for example in CRM ISA 5.0
