Building Workflows via Citrix - can't see the Graphical View

Hi all,
I have access to a client site via Citrix. I have zero knoweledge about how to set up Citrix.
When I am physically at the client site I have no issues with the Workflow Builder. But when I try to use the Workflow Builder through Citrix I can't get the Graphical Model - it defaults to 'Tree' and I can't change it! From SWDD, I tried to change it using Menu Path: Extras > Options and no joy. I can't get the Graphical Model via Citrix.
I found one relevant thread: https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=11364882&messageID=3427385
In this thread Kjetil Kilhavn comments "... I am actually working from a Citrix login myself here right now, and after setting the correct options ("true" full screen) it is just like working in a normal environment."
I wonder if someone can give me some hints/tips so i can pass them on to the people that set up Citrix e.g. what are the 'correct options' that have to be set up?
Any ideas?
Much thanks and regards,
Cristiana

Hello Christiana,
This is most likely not a problem with Citrix itself but with the SAPGUI installed in your Citrix client. Scripting must be enabled and some graphical components of the SAPGUI must also be installed. I don't know the details because they are all installed by default - so presumably someone disabled something.
Talk to your citrix admins and/or ask someone to reinstall SAPGUI for you.
Cheers,
Mike
Edit: A quick check: inside SAPGUI, goto options (last icon -> Options). Goto tab 'Scripting' and make sure it's installed and everything's ticked.

  • Can not see the design view nor the java file in CentOS

Hi all. I've recently installed JSC2 in CentOS. I find this tool really useful. But I have a problem with the design view and the java file view. At the beginning, when I first create a Page1.jsp, I can see the design view and the java view with no problem. I run apps correctly. But after a while, I get a "null pointer exception" error and I am able to see only the jsp view, not the others. I don't even have the option to see the Design and Java views. And the page icon in the project window appears to be darker than a well working page. I'm not really sure what sequence of actions I do to get this error, it just suddenly happens. What I've done so far in JSC2 is to link to pages in the Page Navigation view. It works fine for a while, but after a while I get the error I've described.

Yes, if I do that It happens the same. I've tried everything. Now I'm using Window$ 2000 and it works properly. Thanks anyway.

  • Can't see the full view of image

My problem. when I click a thumnail pic it shows its loading but I never can see the image its just black but if I use the loupe tool I can see the image.
    any help please!!!

Imported 555 Nikon NEF (raw images) direct from D2X via USB into a single project.
The thumbnails show fine, but some images, when I choose them, display "Loading..." then turn black in the viewer. The Loupe reveals normal details, though the onscreen image is black. If I move away and back, the loupe then only shows black.
If I "export master" I get a Nikon NEF on my desktop that I can view with Mac OS X standard built-in Preview app. If I import that master back into Aperture, I can view it fine. In the meantime, the original (that I exported) remains black.
This didn't seem to happen when I had browsed the images immediately after importing. It seemed to start happening after I had applied Levels etc to some of the images in the project. Seems to happen with increasing frequency after I've edited more images in the project.
I do not have two screens or a second video card. Running the updated Aperture (which is much faster now on stacking).

  • How can I see the Query view created for a different user

    Hi All,
How can a user see the View of a query created for a different user??
I would like some info about how to give access ( if it is a access problem) or tell me the steps to do that.
    Regards, Federico

    Hi all,
Maybe I didn't explain me as i should or maybe you dont know what is a Query View. Lets try again, showing you the steps to open a "Query view".
This way is from Bex Analyzer (Excel)
I open the Bex Analyzer and connect to the system -> Open query -> Under "Type" choose "Query View"...this is just a different view of the original query (more or least columns/rows).
This way is from Bex Web:
Once you open/execute the query, you have a ComboBox to choose the view (previously saved)
The problem that we have is that the views created for a user, can NOT be found by other user. The only user who can is the owner.
Could it be an authorization problem? or is ther any configuration possible to see it?
    Thanks in advance, Federico

How do I see the "views" to my posts? I can only see the replies

A view occurs when someone clicks on the link to a specific thread; if they choose not to or can't reply for some reason, no record of who it was is left in any place you can access. Therefore, you can't find out who has viewed a thread if they've opted not to reply to it.

  • I can't see the iPad option in the preview for the overlays or the folio builder.

I can't see the iPad option in the preview for the folio overlays or the folio buider.
I have the content viewer on my iPad and I am logged into it.  This was working before.  Getting a new version of the app does work.
    Please help.

    Hi Bob,
I think there's still something amiss here.
I have the v25 Folio Producer Tools for CS5.5 and the v25 Folio Builder panel. (I'm on 10.6.8 for reference.)
I also have the latest v25 CV from the App Store, and with my iPad Mini plugged in, and the Content Viewer open, the option to side-load still isn't showing.
I thought it might be because I also had a v24 viewer (custom built) installed, but that's not the case. I uninstalled both of them and just downloaded the v25 viewer from the App Store. The result was the same.

You can download updates to your computer's iTunes via the Check For Updates button at the bottom of the Apps section of your iTunes library. When they've been downloaded, and if you haven't already done so, connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of iTunes (if you don't have the left-hand sidebar showing then you can enable it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the Apps tab on the right-hand side clicking the Sync button at the bottom of it should install the relevant updates.

If you use Lion, go to Applications/ Mission Control and, if you have more Desktops, as attached, it means you have more, and you must select the one you need for a certain app. If default settings has not changed, this is Control with left / right arrow
If in Snow Leopard and earlier, you have these settings in System Preferences only. In Lion, you also have some settings in Sys Prefs.

  • My daughter has an iPod touch and is emailing a much older boy via text free app she downloaded. How can I see the conversations? Please help and thank you

Please help me...My 12year old daughter has been talking to a older teenager through the text free app. How can I see the conversations? Also, there is a photo vault that is locked. What is that? Please someone help me. I don't know what else to do. I paid and downloaded a program that is supposed to tell you everything that's on the ipod but that was a joke. Thanks for your help.

As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

After burning a successful DVD in iDVD out of FCPX, how can I see the settings it used?
So I finally burned a DVD out of a Apple Pro Res file into iDVD in PAL format. My question now is how can I find out what the exact burn properties were so that I can apply the same burn properties to a project in Compressor 4?
Is it possible to see what iDVD did?

I don't know any way you can interrogate iDVD to reveal settings to the extent that you can in a Compressor project. What you could do is open up the show's VOB in MPEG STreamclip, go to File and Reveal Stream Information; that will at least give you some rudimentary info like average bit rate. Perhaps someone, with more iDVD experience, can chime in here.
The broader question is why use Compressor at all if your current workflow is doing the job to your satisfaction?
The value of Compressor is that it gives you control over the many parameters that affect size quality.  and playability. The Compressor presets can give you a starting point for DVD delivery, Web, etc. From those presets, people typically experiment by adjusting the parameters until they get the desired results for their specific show. It's a little bit science and a little bit art. After experimenting, you may be able to get slightly better quality for the project you've successfully burned in iDVD by using Compressor and something likeToast…or maybe not.
    Good luck.

  • How can I see the PC on my local network

How can I see the PC on my local network. With Leopard installed I see the others Mac on the network but ot the PC. But the PC see me. What happen and How I can resolve that.

Have you tried connecting to the PC via the Finder's "Connect to Server…" and used the IP address?
    It would be smb://server.ip.address/sharename
Do you have the workgroup set up in the network preferences for the service that you are connected to your LAN with.
There is also a problem on Leopard where the workgroup doesn't stay set, so if that is the case, you need to duplicate the service (ethernet, airport, etc) and use the duplicate. You can then remove the original.
