I know that the built in isight will work with imovie, photobooth and ichat but what is the best way to use the isight with msn?

Almost one year later after buy a Macbook Pro (Mac OS X 10.5.6), the built-in isight camera suddenly stops to work. It was doing well until now. It's a program and user independent bug. During a video conversation, it just stops. It happens when I use mercury or skype (the only video chat programs I use). And just after, when I try to restart the chat, the program doesn't recognize the camera.
Only when I boot the computer (shut down -> cable unplugged -> battery out -> 5s pressing boot button -> battery in -> cable on -> turn on) the problem is fixed for a while... but then the problem happens agains... the problem occurs after the 4th or 5th time Im using the program...
Any suggestions??? Thank you in advance.

Adobe Flash Player does not work with Safari. What can I do?

I have a MacBook Pro, Retina, 15 inch, late 2013, 2 GHz Intel Core i7, using OS X 10.9.4. I have installed Adobe Flash Player. In my System Preference, in the advanced settings, it is set to install updates also tells me that I have the NPAPI Plug-in (version 14.0.0.145) installed but not the PPAPI Plug-in. Is this the reason why it does not work with Safari (keeps telling me to download the app, which I did but still does not work)? Is there any way I could fix the problem? Please, help.

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8. Back up all data before making any changes.

You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.

From the Safari menu bar, select

The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

As a temporary workaround, I believe this Adobe management page allows you to clear your "Flash cookies": [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel] (hosted on macromedia.com -- Macromedia was the original developer of Flash).
Regarding the script error, if I'm reading the script correctly, it is related to accessing your Flash cookies directory. It seems the publisher's support forum is not currently available for searching, but that might be a good next step.
In the meantime, could you check whether the script has the correct location for your Flash cookies directory? If you can't access Tool > BetterPrivacy, you could check here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''bpr''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) There should be a bolded setting named '''extensions.bprivacy.DataDir''' which looks approximately like the following:

Do you have a similar value? If you paste the path used by BetterPrivacy into a Windows Explorer window, does it open? Also, click a couple levels in the folder, can you see:

If the value is wrong, right-click the wrong value and choose Reset. BetterPrivacy should update the value the next time you try to access it.
If the value is blank, you could try inserting a sensible value and see whether that helps.

I *think* it simply disconnects you from the review server. I'm not sure why one would want to do this.
I'm trying to recommend an offline workflow for reviewers who may not be able to access a shared review hosted on our internal server (for example, while traveling). These reviewers would like to be able to comment on an offline version of the review PDF and then publish their comments when they can again connect to the Internet/internal server.
It doesn't seem like "Work Offline" is the right fit for this scenario. Instead, should reviewers save a local copy to their hard drive, comment on it, and then, when reconnected to the Internet, open the local copy, click Reconnect to Server, and then click Publish Comments?

2. Choose Work Offline from the Server Status menu.
3. Close and save the review PDF locally.

The version of iOS is irrelevant to 4G connectivity.
The iPhone 4S supports HSPA which is considered 4G by some carriers, it is NOT an LTE capable device.
If you want a device that supports LTE, you will need to upgrade to an iPhone 5 or newer. LTE capability requires hardware that does not exist in the 4S or older iPhones.

I did a search on my system and found the Photoshop has a fastcore plug-in. Creative Cloud includes a subscription version of CS6 version 13.1.2. I do not know if you installed that or not. The cc un-install may have done something. You may need to use Adobe Cleaner then Install The Perpetual CS6 version of Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.6 Mac or Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.1.3 PC and not the subscription CS6 extended version 13.1.2. Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 If you need to download the CS6 installer Download CS6 products.
You may also be able to recover your cs6 using an old system backup

this article when you run the "netsh int ip reset" command, all it does is to reset the content of two registry keys:

but on my test system it appears to do more.
On a Windows Server 2012 R2 x64 machine, after my application does something wrong, if I try to set up a static IP to a network interface I get instant BSOD.To fix the issue I have to run "netsh int ip reset" and then I can set a static IP.
Now, I'm trying to figure it out how does "netsh int ip reset" fix the problem.I know is not the content of those 2 registry keys because I did the following
on my virtual machine:
Make a VM backup when the system is troubled.
Launch the VM and run the "netsh int ip reset" command
Export the two registry keys
Roll back to the backup made before the "netsh int ip reset" command
Import the saved registries keys
Set up a static IP on an network interface, but I still get a BSOD
When my application tries to configure a network interface with an IP address that was already used by another network interface in the past, first it has to remove that IP configuration for the non-present device and then it can use that IP.
To do that I search in every registry in SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces and see if any of the interfaces did use the IP addres I want to use by comparing the value in "IPAddress" property with the one I want to use.
If I find a match, I first check if that interface is live, and if it's not, I delete the value in "IPAddress" property and set property "EnableDHCP" to 1, then I use that IP on my interface.
This is what my application did wrong. When this interface comes back live again, it will get an IP configuration through DHCP, but it will BSOD if you try to set a static IP on it.
The correct way to do it is to set "IPAddress" property to "0.0.0.0" and "EnableDHCP" to 1. If you leave "IPAddress" empty and set "EnableDHCP" to 1, something goes wrong in TCPIP configuration, that "netsh
int ip reset" will fix .. but what exactly it fixes, I have no idea. All I know it's that it's not in the two registries keys that the
KB article mentions.
So what else does "netsh int ip reset" do, except resetting the content of those two registries, that fixes the problem on my test system?

When you restore via iTunes iTunes will download the firmware(ipsw) file. It could be that the microwave damaged the iPod and iTunes does not know what it is.
