My built-in iTunes app is no longer on my phone or in iTunes on my computer. How do I get it back on my phone?

Built-in contacts app missing

I set up my Sports Watch 42mm Space Grey on Monday, but I can't find the built-in contacts app anymore on the app screen:
I can still see it in the iPhone Watch app listed under "My Watch" and change it's settings, but I can't get it to show. I know I deleted a bunch of apps from the watch by pressing their "x" their, so I maybe I deleted the contacts app as well.
How do I get it back?

Hi,
There is no contacts app for the Apple Watch which is why you cannot see it.
You can set your twelve friends for ease of access using the side button.
It is possible to view your contacts list from within the message and phone apps.
The contacts icon/ option is only in the Apple Watch app so you switch between mirroring your iPhone contacts or setting it to custom for the message and phone apps.

ITunes app missing?

Hello,
A few days ago, I realized that the iTunes app disappeared from the home page of my iphone. Podcasts also were removed. I tried to sync it on my computer, hoping it would solve the problem, but it didn't. I tried to look for it in the search page, searching for "itunes", but nothing comes up (except for iTunes U). However, I can still access the app through the Music app, then "podcast" and then "get more". Rather odd...
I realized the app was gone after I tried the sim card of a friend who's iphone 4s had some kind of operating system problem, as he thought his sim card was'nt correctly "cut".
I went through the Apple Support Communities, looking for answer, but none of them brought it back.
- I tried to reset the home page, unsuccessfully, the app didn't come back
- I tried to go in settings>general>restrictions, but it didn't do anything.
___ I never even touched the restrictions settings before, and I could access iTunes by the Music app, so it wasn't restricted.
- I restored the iPhone as a new iPhone, and the app was finally back, by as I synced my apps and music back on the phone, the app was gone again. Again!
So briefly:
Restrictions? didn't work.
Reset home page? didn't work.
Restoration? Worked, but app disappeared right after syncing.
I think it has something to do with the syncing, but what? How can I get this "invisible" iTunes app back on?
I use an iPhone 4, software 5.1.1.
I use iTunes 10.6.3.25 on Windows 7.

The app just appeared back as I synced. I didn't change any setting, just added and/or updated some apps, podcasts and music. I still don't understand why the app disappeared this long... And between the time it disappeared and today, I synced about 5 or 6 times, including the times I just plugged my phone to charge it.
Is there some explanation?
If not, it doesn't matter much, I'll just come back for when it makes another run for it.

New Hard disk in PC. Iphone/Itunes apps missing

I have reformatted my PC and loaded up Itunes again. I then copied across and over wrote all the installed files with all the pre installation files (Re copy over the top.
When I fire up Itunes it all seems exactly how it was. I then connected my iphone to it and carefully checked the sync setup. I notice that itunes in the Application section only shows a few Apps for syncing. However my Iphone has a load on it.
I am worried if I sync the iphone with Itunes I will loose a lot of my apps.
Any advice before I go for it ?

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

ITunes app on iPhone seriously missing

Oke I have an iPhone 4 and I just lost my iTunes app.
I've looked around on the internet and by now I've tried:
restrictions are off,
restored homescreen,
restore iPhone entirely,
searched on spotlight on the phone for iTunes,
sing to it, take it out to dinner, doing sommersaults with it.
everyone says it's impossible to delete iTunes, so explain this to me why there is no iTunes on mah iPhone.
if there's no solution them I'm gonna through it in mah BlendTech Blender and blend it.

Which app is missing? iTunes Store? App Store? iPod? What version of iOS? What iDevice?
Have you checked other pages of the Home screen to see if it has moved?
Have you tried searching for it (when on the first page of the Home screen press the HOME button, then type "itunes")?
Do you have Restrictions enabled (Settings/General/Restrictions)? If you do is iTunes on or off?

Apps missing from itunes file

My iTunes apps file was corrupted, and I restored what I could. But now a lot of the apps are missing from iTunes.
They're on my iPhone 4S, and various other Apple devices, but every time I sync my iPhone, the sync deletes the apps from my phone that it can't find in iTunes. I've re-downloaded them onto my phone, but I can't find a way to re-download them to iTunes. So the next time I sync to add music to my iPhone that I've purchased elsewhere and imported into iTunes, all those apps get deleted again. More hours spent downloading apps back to my iPhone and placing their icons where they belong. Very frustrating. And one old app that is no longer available from iTunes, but one that I use daily, is now only on my old iPod Touch - so I can no longer sync it, without totally losing that app..
This problem first started when I tried to update to iOS 8.3 from 8.2. The update failed for some "unknown reason", and I had to restore my iPhone to the backup made just before that update. The restore dumped all my apps and all my music. When I tried to re-sync my music, it only restored about 1/3 of the songs. So I've had to re-sync again, and again, trying to get all the music back on the iPhone. And every time, it dumps most of my apps.
My questions are: Is there any way to get the old, highly valued app from my iPod Touch back into iTunes on my Windows 7 PC? And is there any way to get the missing apps back in to the iTunes file on my PC from my iPhone?

Many Missing iTunes Apps...

Yesterday I noticed that many of my iTunes apps are not only missing the artwork, they are gone from my iTunes folder. They are also not to be found in my most recent backup. I do have a Time Machine backup but it is currently unavailable while I wait for a replacement external drive enclosure so I can install the drive containing the Time Machine backup...
I cannot figure out how or why the apps went missing. Hopefully they will be on the Time Machine backup. I do not keep all my apps on my iPhone.
My question: How do I replace the missing apps using Time Machine? And what are my options should they also be missing from that backup?

ITunes app: getting stuck on History screen: missing DONE button

There is no Done button on the history screen in the iTunes app.
Actually after restarting the app the Done button flashes briefly and then disappears.
Needs fixing.

Hi all, I just had this problem and freaked out for five minutes but there's such an easy fix!
I just reset my apps-- meaning, double click your home button,
Then you should get your recently used apps. As if you were moving the apps around,
Hold the first one until they jiggle. Then, there should be a red dot that appears. Click it and the iTunes app should disappear from the bottom screen. It's not deleting the app, it's simply refreshing it. Then iTunes should be back to normal!

Missing itunes app

Without understanding how or why, my ITunes app is gone From my IPad. I tried to download at the App Store to my iPad, but it tells me that it is included on an iPad. What do you think I should do to get them back? I tried updating my software and that did not help, I have no restrictions on in my settings. Thanks!

If you are certain that Settings>General>Restrictions>iTunes>On, is not set, the reset the home screen layout.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset home screen layout. This will destroy any folder structure pm your home screen and will return it to out of the box default screen.

When I had 10.6.8, itunes would leave a left over amount in itunes apps. When I got the upgrade to 10.7 I thougt the problem would go away but it did not. There is a bug in the app system and I think it should be resolve quickly.

When I had 10.6.8, itunes would have a left over amount in itunes apps, it would show you would have 8 apps that need to be updated. I would got to up date them and there would be no apps to up date. 2 days later I would go to up date apps and it would show I have 15 apps to update when I really have 6 then it would add on more invisable apps to which is not there. There is a bug in itunes that needs to be fixed please fix this app section. I have sent letters about this before and you did not listen. I a beta tester and I hate it when my requests don't get fixed.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).

Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.

Apps missing that I previously downloaded??

For some reason several of my main (and these are all free apps) apps are missing on my iphone. I have gone out to the cloud and iTunes and can see them there, but try to download them again (either from the cloud or iTunes) but it says they're already installed and won't try to install again. Anyone had this similar issue and/or know what the fix is?

Are these the built-in iPhone apps? If so, go to General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
If these are third-party apps, make sure that they're not accidently put inside a folder.
