Built in video player crashes?

Question

After playing videos from iPhone and Canon point-and-shoot camera the player will stop playing and displays some message and I have to reboot the program.
Any ideas why it does this?

If you are using the FLVPlayback component, you need to assign it an instance name and then use that name to target it to tell it to stop.
You assign an instance name to it by selecting it on the stage and entering a name for it in the Properties panel where it says <Instance Name>.  THen in your button's event handler code you use that name to tell the player to stop... if you name it flvPlayer, you'd use:  flyPlayer.stop();
