Built in web cannot working

my laptops web cam is saying its not turned on but it is on i have have this problem when i bought it i thought i was doing somthing wrong but i was recently told it might somehow came disconnected what do i do

Webcam might indeed be disconnected - it happens. The tiny wires that connect the webcam camera are fragile; they might disconnect, become twisted, or be crushed along the hinge area. The damage can occur at any time, or it may never happen. I have had some notebooks for many years in which the webcam has always remained fully functional. Every notebook is different.
The problem could be other than damaged wires or broken hardware. You might first conduct the tests on your webcam to see if you can get it working.

G530 and built in web cam working not under W7

I upgraded my OS to W7 a few weeks ago. I paid for the upgrade DVD from Lenovo directly. When I received the DVD they also provided me with a CD of the drivers that I need. When I run the exe under the cam directly I get an error message letting me know that the hardware does not exist. I have tried the online version of the driver and I get the same error message. I can see the camera in the "Devices and Printers"
Is there anyone out there that can help me with this issue. I need to cam for Skye with family in Australia.

Since posting my original issue, I have found that the web cam is actually working. I am able to do video chat in Yahoo messenger and Skype. I am also able to broadcast out via sites like Cam4.
I did find a really great substitute for the EasyCapture program. I found the program 'WebCamMax" http://www.webcammax.com. It is not free but it is worth purchasing. It gives you a lot more special effects than EasyCapture does.

Satellite L500-1WG - Built in web cam is not working

My built in web cam doesnt seem to be working, I discovered this last week and i've tried a few solutions such as uninstalling then reinstalling the driver but that work.
Also I delete my system restores to save space so I can't really go back to when it did work.
I don't think that i've installed any webcam drivers lately so I don't think it was that.
Help?

Generally speaking webcam driver reinstall should help but you have tried it already.
Which operating system do you use?
Try to remove web camera application again, clean registry and all entries there, restart notebook and try to install right webcam driver again.
I really dont know what else you can try.
By the way: what is the webcam status in device manager?

Having installed lion i find the built in web cam does not work

After having installed lion i find the built in web cam (on my mac book pro) does not work, it maybe it just does not work anymore and it is a coincedence that i was changing the OS at the time . Built-in web cam on HP Envy Smartouch laptop not working

I have spent hours trying to get my built-in webcam to work. There is no image when I try to use Skype or to open it directly. It is currently saying "connect camera" if I just try to open the camera app. It used to be a HP TruVision camera and has now "switched" to say it's a spca2082 pc camera. I have tried updating the driver (says it's updated), updating all the software that might have anything to do with it (any Windows updates, adobe flashdrive, CyberLink youcam, Skype, etc.). I've searched this forum and tried recommendations like restarting the computer, doing a power reset, even did a system retore. After that it went briefly back to HP TruVision and showed a few seconds of image, but flickered back and forth between that and spca2082 (i.e., video to no video) until it just showed a black screen again. I am NOT techy and have maxed out anything I know how to do, nor can I find a solution online. Please help! I've got two kids away at school and Skype is our main way to stay in touch -- I need a working web cam!!

Photo booth doesn't work, the built in web cam stopped functioning

hey guys
i've just purchased macbook pro and the built in camera stopped working, when i open the photo booth application, i see a green screen, and the photo it takes is all green.
it worked yesterday, and now it doesn't
i've searched the entire system for a solution but couldn't find any

When using the built in web server, is there a way to specify a different

When using the built in web server, is there a way to specify a different error handler when you try to access a NON .CFM file? Right now I get the standard:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: filename.ext
Is there any setting to override this and direct the message to your own .cfm template? The missing template handler in the CF Admin work only for .cfm files.

The in-built web server for ColdFusion 8 is JRun. I am on ColdFusion 10, however, and so cannot offer hands-on advice. (CF10 replaced JRun with Tomcat.)
My guess is that you have to modify the file {CF_ROOT}/WEB-INF/web.xml. Don't forget to create a back-up first!
You may then proceed as follows.
1) In the ColdFusion root (CF_ROOT), create the file myCustomFileNotFound.cfm. Give it some content, like
My custom File Not Found page. Current time: <cfoutput>#now()#</cfoutput>
2) Open the file {CF_ROOT}/WEB-INF/web.xml in a text editor. Add the following error-handling specification just before the end tag </web-app>:
<error-page>
<error-code>404</error-code>
<location>/myCustomFileNotFound.cfm</location>
</error-page>
Save the file web.xml.
3) Restart ColdFusion. Test by browsing to a URL requesting filename.ext

Satellite L300-2CL - built in mic stopped working

When I bought this computer (sep-09) everything was working fine. Then in march (I hade it idle for awhile), my built in mic stopped working.
Everything eles is working fina, and I have scanned the web for solutions, and tried to install new drivers, unistall them, boots everything possible, disabel and rebooting, but at most I just get a static sound from my test recordings.
I am using win 7 home pre, but the issues started when I was using Vista. Now I am out of ideas, and my friends on Skype grows tired of not hearing me.
Is there anything I can do to get the mic work, or should I just buy a headset?

Sounds a little bit like an mic hardware issue but you should also check the internal mic settings in control panel -> sound.
There you will see the Recording tab.
Here you should mark the internal mic and should check the properties.
Set all volume controllers to max.
Choose internal mic as standard device.
In Playback tab choose speakers -> properties.
There you will see the level tab. Here you should set the microphone to 100 and should check if its not disabled too.

Just now I tried reproducing your problem on sp3/sp4/6.5, and for me it works fine.
You can find all mappings in "<Application server>/6.0/CCS0/HTTPAPI/ServletPatternTrans" node of registry. Just make sure that your mapping entry is there, otherwise you can add it here (see the mapping of FortuneServlet for the format) and restart the iAS and web-server (plugin) after that.

What are Azure limitations for Websockets in Cloud Services (web and worker role)?

A WebSocket Server should be built on Azure platform with OnPrem connections and have questions regarding limitations for Websockets in Azure Cloud Services - web and worker roles.
Websockets can be configured for Web Sites and limitations are understood, but Azure Websites is not an option.
Nevertheless it is planned to run a web service (without UI - no web site) as a Cloud service which has secure websocket (WSS) connections to OnPrem machines. Websocket protocol is enabled for IIS8 on Cloud services web and worker roles. Azure Service Bus Relay
is not an option.
Questions:
1) Are Websockets supported for Azure Cloud services web and worker roles? we assume yes
2) What are potential limitations from Azure side to support concurrent Websocket connections? We are aware that CPU, memory etc are limitations, but are there additional limitations from MS Azure side?

HP Mini 110-3700 built-in camera not working

I just bought my HP Mini 110-3700 (LV831PA#UUF) last january. I just tried using the HP camera twice to check if the image it captures is clear. Yesterday, i will use the camera for a video chat but the messenger said "Cannot detech the camera/ device is not connected).When I had clicked the link for the HP Camera it had open but the light indicator didn't have any light and the camera isn't working.
I already tried restoring the HP mini to factory settings but after that, the camera isn't working still. What should I do? Need help ASAP.

Web app works in sunone but after moving to tomcat it won't

My web application works just fine in sunone studio, but once I move it to tomcat by creating a war file, it wont.
the part of app that doesn't work is the file and directory copy part. everthing else is fine:server access, database connectivity, and login.
if the files and directory are there, it is working, but if they are not there it won't create the directory and copy the file, what it is supposed to do.
one thing I noticed was the browsers status bar:
running it from sunone, it comes up like this:
..//localhost:8080/...
running it from tomcat, it comes up like this:
..//127.0.0.1:8080/
I don't know if that is a clue to a problem.
I am working under window2000 server.
any hint or suggestion would be great.

Well the localhost vs. the IP address cannot be the cause for the problem. From what you are saying is that the application actually works and the WAR does get deployed and the application does some file system operations and those do not work.
That can be for several reasons, make sure that the security manager in the external Tomcat allows this and also that there is read/write access to place you are trying to do the filesystem operations to. Are those directories inside your context path?
Also, some exception stacks would be helpful.

I would do as what Diavovex suggested:
Settings >>> General >>> Reset >>> Reset all Settings.
Once you have completed this, ipad will reboot, connect again to your Wi-Fi and then try to Reset imessage again. Just make sure your Apple ID and password are ok ...... try log in to Apple Store and if this is not an issue then I don't see why imessage cannot connect?

Web server works externally, but not internally

Hi I'm kind of new to this.
I got my web server working exteranlly, but within my internal network, the webserver only works if I input the actual ip address and not www.example.com.
I have a Cisco RVS4000 set as a gateway and a Mac Mini with Server App 10.8x. My guess is that I have to enable some port. I followed the well known TCP/UDP Ports (https://discussions.apple.com/article/TS1629), but I still can't get it to work internally.
Any thoughts on why it's not working interanlly?

Lol...After fixing one issue, another one came up. This time it has to do with the name I am using. For example:
www.exmaple.com and tm1.example.com (both are hosted with different ips)
Since they are both using the same name: exmaple.com, I cannot access the www.exmaple.com, but I can access the tm1.example.com
