Bulgarian as an input language for BlackBerry Q10

Please add Bulgarian, a language of the European community, as an input language for BlackBerry smartphones. It's a great disappointment to find that your home language is not available on your phone, especially as Bulgaria has been part of the EU for more than 6 years now. I hope BlackBerry software developers will show respect towards their, not few, Bulgarian clients and am awaiting of a comment to my post.

You can load another carrier's OS on your phone. You just need to see if Danish is a language in one of the multilanguage OS packages for the 8320. Check out the following link for how to load the multilanguage OS on your phone
http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-8300-series-discussion-curve/164363-os-8320-4-5-0-152-4-5-0-...
Just an FYI, without a data plan you won't be able to use many of the BlackBerry features like BlackBerry Messenger, IM Clients, setting up email, etc.

  • Os 10.3 expected release for blackberry Q10 with videotron

    Hi,
I own a blackberry q10 on the videotron network. I can't update my device to the os 10.3 to be able to use blackberry blend and the new functions.
Do you know when I can expect the release of the update for the q10 device with videotron?
    Thanks a lot

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
No one here, in this user-to-user community, has any access to the answer to your question. Indeed, even BB does not know...for it is the responsibility of each carrier to approve the OS released by BB and then subsequently release it to their users. So, the proper place to pose your question is indeed to your carrier, as it is they who control it for you.
    Good luck!

  • Slovak Telekom 4G/LTE support for BlackBerry Q10

    Hello,
last month my carrier Slovak Telekom launched 4G/LTE network in our country (www.telekom.sk/english/press-center/press-releases/slovak-telekom-launches-first-nationwide-4g-lte-n... I would like to use my BB Q10 (SQN100-3) in 4G network, but my Q10 is not supported yet (in network mode 4G is missing). When will be Q10 supported? From what/who does the 4G/LTE functionality depend? From mobile carrier or BlackBerry?
    Thanks

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Julobaco,
you are right Q10 supports all Slovak frequencies you mentioned. There was not a problem with supporting frequencies. There was the problem, that LTE setting was disabled in the Network mode before May 2014. Thanks to the latest OS update 10.2.1.3175 released during end of May 2014 is LTE already enabled in the Network mode menu. Slovak Telekom LTE is available from November 2013. It means I was not able to use Slovak Telekom LTE for 6-7 months due to disabled LTE capability in the Network menu with Slovak Telekom SIM card on my Q10. I think it is very long time for waiting to a carrier update. It is finally ok

  • How to change the application (MIDlet) input language at MIDlet run-time?

    Hi,
I am working on a Messaging (SMS) J2ME MIDlet where it is required to change the input language for a TextField/Area at run-time.
For example if default handset language is set to Chinese, during MIDlet execution time the textfield language (locale) should be changed to Arabic/Spanish/French. Here I understand that provided the required languages are supported on handset, one can change them from handset settings.
Can anyone help me out with changing the microedition.locale to zh_CN from en_US?
    Thanks

    Dear Ted,
I want to change DataSource, it means the report will be load and change connection at run time (using CRJ SDK) and i want to change the SCHEMA.Tablename in CommandTable in report.
I also use the parameter to do it, but it can not be at run time, just correct when designing.
Could you please help me on this. You can post the code if any.
    Thanks,
    Nha

  • How to get current language bar setting for input language

I am using Flex Builder 3, IE 7 and windows OS. Is there a
way to determine the current input language as set in the "language
bar"? The Capabilities class always returns "en" even after I set
Chinese ("ch") as my input language.

    Hi Dragon Cao,
No need to create any customer exit variable for this ..
You have standard variable CMONTH this displays current month summation. Just restrict your Key figure with this variable.
And in properities of Key figure goto Calculations> Local Calculations> select Summation.
If you want to assign some calday at run time sure you need to create customer exit variable using Step_2 value in enhancements(CMOD).

    Rajeswari.

  • ITABC input method for Chinese language

*Languages and Texts: Input Source: Chinese-Simplified: ITABC*
I recently upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard. On Tiger, I found the ITABC input method for Chinese-Simplified language the most useful. Since upgrading to Snow Leopard on my desktop (and also Snow Leopard on new MacBook Pro), the ITABC input method is absent from the Chinese-Simplified Input Sources tab.
Can anyone help me with why this? Can I somehow get the ITABC input back?
    Thank you for any assistance.
    Bones

Isn't the "Pinyin" on the list very similar to ITABC?
If you have problems with it, best to ask on the Chinese-Mac list.
    http://groups.google.com/group/chinesemac/
Many people now use QIM instead of the SCIM:

Print adobe form in local language (Hindi)
Make sure the two things available:
    1. Embed fonts option enabled.
This option is available in Designer->File->Form Properties->Save Options panel
Important: This will work only for PDF files (not for XDP)
    2. Adobe Reader Extended Languages support font pack installed on the target machine the Hindi font is not installed.
You have to include the hindi font in ADS . Refer to SAP note 1565508.

  • An Idea For a BlackBerry Q10 Trackpad?

Using my BlackBerry Q10 I like the phone and everything much better than my BlackBerry 9900. Though, I miss the trackpad part. Maybe if BlackBerry where able to complete an app that people can download and use it as a BlackBerry traditional trackpad that was touchscreen for the Q10? Just an Idea comment of what you thought of it and also I dont even know if this was possible

What about the trackpad are you wanting back? The device is easily navigable without the trackpad. The biggest complaint is usually placing the cursor in the right position to edit text. Here is a tip for that:
Place the cursor in the text. A circle should pop up. You can tap on the right side or the left side (or top or bottom) of the circle to move the cursor one space to the right or left or from line to line. Once I learned that trick I no longer missed the trackpad.

  • When is the Blackberry 10.2 update going to be released for the Q10 & Z10 phones on verizon?

VZW, what is the specific date verizon is going to release the Blackberry 10.2 update for the Q10 and Z10 phones? The update has been released globally and the other carriers have made public their release dates, so their is no competitive advantage for verizon. What is the specific release date for the Blackberry 10.2 update for Blackberry phones on the verizon network?

Apple has released an update for 2012 Macs that were updated to 10.8.2, but the full 10.8.2 hasn't been released yet and we don't know anything about when it will be launched

  • Input language support software download for the Desktop software

    Phew, that's a mouthful.
Hello! I've got my nifty 8310 with me on a three month trip to China, but it won't recognize any Chinese characters. This is becoming quite a bother, as there have been numerous things I've had to decipher through mainly guesswork.
Could someone point me to a link or website where I could possibly download the software needed to add a new input language (if that's what I need), or perhaps even display language?
    Thanks in advance.
    Peace, love and monkey grease,
    Zack

You may go to th Setup wizard to change the language options as Chinese, doinh so, you then can read chinese of course and have no problem showing english on you device at the same time

  • Input language-Russian

Hi All, I want to be able to create bilingual messages (English& Russian)on my Torch (SMS, emails etc) but there is no Russian in the list of additional input languages. Amongst supported languages there are Catala, Greek, Czech etc so I don't see why no Russian... Does anyone know how to get Russian? Thanks a lot in advance

    Hey Ksenia,
Language support is determined by your service provider, some service providers do not offer all Language support packs. Here is how to obtain language packs for BlackBerry: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13067
