Bulk cpoy: several folders into several other folders
Hello!
Is it possible in a way to copy a number of folders into another folders in one action? Now i have to copy the folders into one folder at a time.
I have to copy 12 folders that represents months into 60 other folders...

You can sort by using the search feature. When you are in your mail account you use the search bar at the top to find emails from a particular sender (there are Other options as well in search). Type in that sender's address. When the emails show up in the window on the left side, select all of the emails that you want to move. Tap Edit at the bottom and the Move Folder icon will appear. Tap that icon and select the folder that you want to move the emails into.
To move multiple emails without using the search to sort, go to your inbox and tap Edit. Then select all of the emails that you want to move. After you are done selecting them, tap the Move icon at the bottom on the left side of the account window. When you tap move, you get a choice of folder into which you can place the selected emails.

You can play with the 'route' command in an Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal session to specify which route a specific IP address should take.

Google can most likely give you examples you can use to specify routes.
Routes must be setup after each reboot. -

Thank you for your help. I checked and all of these settings are already clicked. I don't think that is related to the issue.
I have many sub folders in my inbox and I can see all of these in a pane on the left. However if I delete a folder or the emails in a folder in this pane, and then try to click into another folder so that I can process the emails in the second folder then often I will find that althopugh I can see the titles of those emails in the main pane, I cannot actually read any of them. They all appear to be blank. I have to completely close thunderbird and open it up again then I can see them. However if I delete those then the same issue arises. It means then when I am trying to tidy up old email folders I have to do a lot of restarting thunderbird. This surely can't be right.
Any ideas?

OIM provisioning in bulk causes several provisioning tasks to be listed as
OIM 9102 Provisioning in bulk causes several provisioning tasks to be listed as "provisioning in queue" We are using offline provisioning as we had some issues running without it.
If i bring in via trusted resource, 10 or so users, the first 5 or 6 work fine, and then 1 or 2 will show some of their resources as provisioning in queue. It looks like it didn't get around to running those as I don't see errors in the log(debug on everything) if I open and save the form, they provision immediately with no trouble. I'm just trying to figure out what the hold up is, and is there a way to have it automatically retry when this happens?
Any help would be great.also each one this happens to is a different resource. on a different user. and each is stuck and system validation.

turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.

My ipad says it is connected to WiFi, which is workingly perfectly for several other devices, will not connect to internet. It keeps giving the message 'Cannot Connect' or error has occurred or just blink off site or icon?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

please let me know if you know of any good apps to sync up several ipads in a room with one person in control. I'm looking for an app that will allow a presenter to control what's on display for several other ipad users in a room. I'd like to be able to do presentations over the ipad, but i want the presenter to control the screens so folks in the meetings don't get distracted by playing with the ipad. i'd like to avoid using a web meeting service and do this without having to connect to any kind of network since i'll often be doing this outside of my office.

??First of all, you're not even calling the Happy Holiday one. If you want it to do something, you have to invoke it.
And by the way, in your comments, you mention that in one case, a new process is created. Actually, new processes are created each time you call Runtime.exec.
Anyway, if you want the output from the processes, you read it using getInputStream from the Process class. In fact, you really should read that stream anyway (read that URL I sent you to find out why).
If you want to print that output to the screen, then do so as you'd print anything to the screen.
in notepad HelloWorld.java, I can see it is opened,
but in Java, not.I have no idea what you're saying here. It's not relevant whether a source code file is opened in Notepad, when running a program. -
Can't open AppleWorks as well as several others
When I try to open Appleworks, as well as several other applications, I get a message that says: apple Works could not be launched because of a shared library error "1<AppleWorks><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_LaunchServices>"
The same message with Palm Desktop, Language Now,Transport Monitor, and maybe some others.
This first occurred a few days ago after my wife downloaded 3 items in software update; one of which was a Quicktime update.

My guess is that the "offending" upgrade where made "on the fly" from "Application Updater".
I never do that. I just accept to downoad the updater.
I apply them later when I know that all other apps are closed and possibly than third party extensions are disabled.

I have a 27" iMac connected to several others pc and to Server via router. Very frequently Lan or internet drops in my iMac. I Have OS 10.6.7 with all updates.
Issues like this are going to be related to the network. Intermittant problems are typically due to network interference, have you checked istumbler.net to get a report of your network?

I downloaded Yosemite last night and tried to look at my photos in iPhoto and noticed that needed updating. When I tried to update as requested, I got an error message stating that the app (and several others including Pages and Numbers) couldn't be updated because they weren't purchased by the user ID I had entered. I'm the only user of the computer and now I can't find my photos anywhere! Any help would be appreciated.
ThanksSome folks have solved this issue by dragging the apps to an external disk, then disconnecting it, and then are able to download. Apparently it can arise if you upgraded from an OS the than Mavericks.
Failing that: Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues. -
Every time I go on to a different website, several other web address keep opening. I get pages that open up are for related information and also a lot of pages for downloads, including ones to update Firefox.. (Sometimes it even tells me I've downloaded something, and it ask me if I want to save the file or run it. )
