Bulk Printing on Windows 7 64 bit

Hi
My Name is Terrick and i am a computer Operator for the cold chain.
We recently gave new Windows 7 64 bit machines to our user's, and since the new machines have been installed our user's cannot do bulk printing.
They are Bulk printing TIFF format files.
They can print a maximum of 30 jobs, and cant go further than 40.
I increased the Virtual memory so that the machine can locate more memory to the printing client but that failed.
Installed 64 bit printer drivers which are compatible for the systems but that also is not coming right.
My last option was to get software that could convert the TIFF Files to PDF, and with that all seems fine.
So the issue is basically printing this format of images.
Can someone advise please.

Please try the following link for a solution and let me know if it works.

  • HP Laserjet p2015d auto duplex printing with Windows 7 64 bit operating system

I have used the HP Laserjet p2015d with Windows 7 32 bit operating system and have been able to use the AUTOMATIC DUPLEX feature of the printer without problems.
Now, however, I have installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 operating system and the AUTO DUPLEX does not work and is not shown as being available on the PROPERTIES menu of the printer.
Is it possible to use the AUTO DUPLEX  feature of  the printer with Windows 7   64 bit  operating system.
All replies welcomed!   Aaron in Calif.

    Hi Aaron,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
    Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

  • Trouble installing shared printer on windows 7 64 bit

    hey guys
i recently got a IBM thinkpad with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
we have a HP Laserjet 3015 thats shared on windows xp profesional computer.  i am having trouble installing it on my comuter. if i connect the printer to my computer via USB, windows finds the drivers and it works.
The problem is when ever i try and insatll it over the network it does not work. i can search and find which computer it is attached to and see it in the shared printer list, but when i ever i try to connect to it says connecting>>searching windows update>>cant find drivers. it gives me the option of searching for the drivers to install. i have downloaded the drivers thats on the HP site but they dont help. when ever i select them in the manual it comes with an error saying driver not found then gives u the option of installing it your self. when u select the driver it says windows can not locate a suitable driver.
how can i get around this ??

Try the following:  On the Windows 7 computer go to the Devices and Printers folder, Add a Printer, Local Printer, Create a new port, Local port, Next, \\xpcomputername\lj3015 (where you put in the actual share name of the computer and printer), OK, Windows Update (and wait for the list to repopulate), HP Laserjet 3015 PCL5,  Next, Next.

  • I desperately need help installing Canon Pixma ip6000D printer in Windows 7 64-bit

My software CD (drivers, etc.) will not work with Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried running it in Windows XP compatibility mode, but it says it is made for 32-bit and will not work with 64-bit. Canon's website says it has an add-on module, but it doesn't have
the printer driver, and it says "Your printer must be installed via Microsoft Update before you download and use this module." I have tried to find a way to install the printer via Microsoft Update, But I can't find any information
    about how to do this.
I have also done searches for the canon pixma ip6000d drivers for windows 7 64-bit, but all the results I have seen say that they are an add-on modules.
I would GREATLY appreciate any help with this.

After doing some more digging, I found a solution, and hopefully it will help anyone else who is having problems. Go to this page:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Install-a-printer
You can manually install the printer by following these instructions. If the model of your printer does not show (mine didn't), click the update button. It will take several minutes (maybe longer if you have a slow internet connection), but eventually it
will bring up a new list of printers. Just choose your printer and follow the instructions. My printer is working fine now.

  • WPS54GU2 printing to parallel printer with Windows 7 64-bit-cannot get it to work for the life of me

    Hello,
I am having the worst difficulties getting the WPS54GU2 to print to a HP Laserjet 4L printer. I know that the general communication is working as I am able to print a test page from the
I have the IP address correct for the print server (in my case it is 192.168.1.103) and is set statically in the print server setup.
I have it working fine on an XP box The port name configured on the XP machine is LK89A0B5_P1.
The software that comes with the WPS print server will not install on Windows 7 so the address/port/queue must
    be set up manually.
I have tried the link from Cisco's KB that shows how to configure the print sever:
    http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=69efd80e2ea44d948fea2365d3e0c9eb_Configuring_TCP_I...
however this does not work and the print job either gets stuck in the print queue, or it shows busy/error in the print queue.
I have also tried suggestions on this forum that say not to create a TCP/IP port but instead use LPR port.
Can someone please give me the solution that will work. I have heard people say to use L1 for the queue name, or P1, or LP1
or lp1. I cannot spend much more time on this before I give up and look for a different print server that will work with both parallel and USB printers.
    Thanks for help/suggestions on this.
    Mike

sometimes it needs the device- specific drivers to get it to work; especially that you have a 64- bit OS.
the print server is already connected to the network, right? what is its IP address? check if the computer can ping that IP by going to start> search> cmd> ping 192.168.1.78 (change this to the correct IP address). if your computer can ping the print server then you can setup LPR printing to get your printing jobs done. click on the link below for more info.

  • Networking a HP color laserjet 2600n printer on windows 7 (64-bit)?

    Hello,
Have an HP Color Laserjet 2600n printer and are running Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit). Have you plugged the printer into your router and does it have a proper IP address?  If so:
    1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by browsing to its IP address before continuing.
    2. Click >> Start >> Control panel >> Printers.
    3. Click the Add a printer
    4. Select Local printer
    5. Select Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port and click Next button.
    6. Under Device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under Hostname or IP address, enter the printer's IP address. Click Next.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard from the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model was not listed, then select Have Disk, browse the HP CD that came with your printer and select the first file that starts with hp and ends with inf. Click Open then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If you are asked, use the currently installed driver.
    9. It will ask for the Printer name -- enter a new name or use the existing one. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. You may be asked to share the printer. Choose NO.
    11. The Print Test Page box appears. Go ahead and print it.
    12. Click Finish.

  • Designjet 500 doesn't print from Windows 7 64 bits

    The problem:
We got our first Windows 7 64 bit laptop and we can't print to our Designjet 500. Windows submits the job to the printer without errors but it doesn't print and the error 61:05 is displayed on the printer's display. The printer is connected to the network infrastructure with HP Jetdirect.
    Things I tried:
I tried to connect this laptop directly to the printer through USB.
I tried to print from Autocad and the Windows test page.
I tried the Windows Update drivers and the ones provided in HP's support website.
I tried all the different flavors of the Windows 7 64 bit drivers (w/ HPGL2 card; PS; Plus; 24/42 inches)
I tried to print from a 2nd W7 x64 laptop that I got temporarily just to troubleshoot this issue.
    Conclusion:
All 32 bit OS's print as expected. None of the new W7 64 bit systems print. None of the things I tried made a difference, the job is sent to the printer and the error is always the same.
Any ideas to go on from here?

  • Cannot share window xp 32-bit hp c5500 printer with windows 7 64-bit laptop

I am trying to connect my HP laptop running windows 7 64-bit with the home network printer hp Photosmart C5500 running on desktop windows XP 32-Bit, but could not get  it working. It shows up in the printer control panel.

    Do you receive any errors?
Also, have you installed the Windows 7 64bit drivers on your Windows 7 system?
How specifically was the printer added to the Windows 7 system?  Was it through automatic discovery or was it browsed for manually?

  • HP 1012 printer with Windows 7 64-bit

Looking for HP 1012 printer driver for Windows 7?
You, like me, tried to install the HP 1012 printer onto a computer that ran Windows 7, but to no avail.
You need to go to Start --> Devices and Printers -->  Add a printer --> Add a local printer --> Select ":Use an existing port: DOT4_001 (Generic IEEE 1284.4 printing support)" --> click Next --> Select HP for manufacturer --> scroll down to HP LaserJet 3055 PCL5.  Select this as your printer.
That's it, and make sure it's set as the default printer.
    You're welcome

I read that installing the HP LaserJet 3055 PCL5, driver would enable my HP Laserjet 1012.  I downloaded the software and followed the directions and the printer gives me "Unsupported Personality PCL"  No success.  sweet_land04

  • Printing order windows 7 32 bit

I have a windows 7 32bit computer. I recently purchased a officejet pro 8620 that currently prints last page to first page. I have tried changing the layout order, but that is not an option for me to choose. I tried loading the drive by way of the advanced tab of the properties menu. That did not change anything. Is there a way for me to change this setting or do I need to return my product?

On Windows 7, the page order is set by the app. For example, if you are using word, goto options, and under Print, check the "print pages in reverse order" box. (Note: different versions of word may have slight different wording and different ways to get to the options menu, the same goes for different apps).
