Bundle phone , BB, TV package or not to bundle

Hi All Newbie here
I am looking to cut costs on my packages with BT (where I can)
I currently have Unlimited weekend plan + BB Option 2 (40GB) which is 22.50 + line rental monthly currently 14.60
advanced changes brings this to 111:30
I also have BT vision which by the way suits me fine and I pay 12.50a month (different account)
I called BT today as I am not in contract with the phone and Broadband to see what they can do
the agent said that he would need to see if they could bundle vision in the package and give me a better deal
I'm still waiting for him to get back to me with an offer.
My question is for those in the know is it better to bundle it all together or keep it the way it is and get a better deal on the broadband and phone plan. and is Talk Talk any better?

Certainly shop around if you'd be happy moving suppliers for a few quid. With the bundling it doesn't really matter, if you went to another supplier for broadband your vision would stop working (ONLY) works with BT broadband.
if your happy with the price let them do what they need to with your account. You'd be recontrating both the tv and broadband for 12 months

Hello, I was stuck with 'bundle' for hours, I do not know anything about Ruby, and even looking at the code won't get my anywhere. kindda don't like it... (guilty). Anyway, I'm gonna post it here to save someone else's time.

What was tried?
Everything: cloning eventmachine directly from github which produced same result, removing gems depending on eventmachine however other packages produced the same result, ...
The error message says: You have to install development tools first. however it was installed:
sudo pacman --needed -S base-devel
What was the problem? What's the solution then?
Well, I had previously enabled multilib in pacman.com which resulted in gcc-multilib and gcc-libs-multilib being installed however these multilib packages does NOT work, gcc and gcc-libs needs to be installed instead. I do not know what is the proper solution for having these multilib packages and compiling ruby gems? (maybe adding multilib back to pacman.conf!) but it finally worked for me.
I would create a wiki article but I don't know if it deserve's one + I'm not very good english writer + not sure if the solution is 100% right. probably this should be added to ruby page: in order to compile ruby gems you have to install gcc and gcc-libs instead of gcc-multilib and gcc-libs-multilib since multilib packages wont work because of...?

Don't have the 7100 board , but some of theese issues are common .
Enter BIOS in the following submenus :
Advanced BIOS Features:
-HD-Boot order - Make sure your SATA drive where you install OS is first in the list .
(always check this one when altering HD's and connections of drives/usb-drives/card readers etc)
Set normal boot order

BTW: Having only 2.5GB for is not gonna cut it as OS partition is not enough as pagefile written under install is 1.5 times installed memory
and the install will halt .
Windows updates and other stuff as mail storage , my documents , user prifiles and registry hives need space and grow some over time .
Primary OS partition workes best having altleast a minimum 20% free space all the time for housekeeping tasks lige changing layout ini , prefetch data
defragmenting etc.
Don't use anything less than 15GB to have peace of mind . ( I usually make it 30GB or more to avoid having lack of space later on , as that is a bitch )

Compiler exception - package does not exist?

I am new to NWDS and J2EE. I followed the steps in the tutorial as indicated in the below link:

3 errors
The thing I don't understand is the "comp.sap.examples.calculator.beans" class has already been included inside the EAR (I used my zip tool to check the EAR file and confirmed it's there), why did the compiler still complain that the package does not exist? Any great guys & gals out there can help this poor newbie who spent the past 5 hours searching for Google for answers but couldn't find any??

Perhaps I should give out more information about this problem.
The EAR file contains a WAR file and a JAR file.
The WAR file contains a JSP and it contains codes to refer to a java proxy class of package comp.sap.examples.calculator.beans.CalcProxy.
So it seems the compilation error is triggered when it tries to compile the WAR file.
I checked the structure of the WAR file using a zip tool.
At the base it contains this:
WEB-INF (a folder)
Calculator.jsp (the JSP file)
Inside the WEB-INF folder is these:
classes (a folder)
web-j2ee-engine.xml
web.xml
Inside the classes folder is a tree of subfolders to describe the structure of the CalcProxy class:
classes -> comp -> sap -> examples -> calculator -> beans -> CalcProxy.class
So the java class file and the JSP file is in the same bundle of the WAR file.
Why the compiler is not able to find the class file inside the JSP?

no, I never have resolved it. I spent 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with apple and couldn't figure it out. they finally said it must be something with my windows installer - but I have no problem downloading/installing any other programs.

I have an existing Windows Phone 8 application in which I wish to release an update to. This update includes new features as well as targets the 8.1 platform. Because of an unknown problem with the original Visual Studio project
where the app stopped being able to be deployed to test devices, it was faster to create a new Visual Studio project and copy over the existing code and assets than try and find the issue in the original project. This lead to the publisher GUIDs being different
between the new and original projects.
Now when I try and submit the updated package within the Windows Phone Online dashboard I get the following error message "The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher. The expected publisher
for this app is: "CN=0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5"".
I have updated both the WMAppManifest and Package.appxmanifest so that they have the following attributes and information:
Package.appxmanifest (PhonePublisherId="0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5")
And
WMAppManifest (PublisherID="{0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5})
I have then recompiled the app and uploaded and attempted to resubmit the update but I still get the error that the Publisher does not match. What have I missed??

This sounds tricky... perhaps you can do a search in the entire app for the GUIDs and replace them.
Also, you could build the appx package, rename the .appx to .zip, and open it up to see if you can find the wrong publisher id anywhere and it might give you a clue to where to make the change.

I try again here, since we got no further and this message is becoming a show-stopper for us.
We have a simple app-file and build a package from this with Productbuilder only using
productbuild --component 'INtex Fahrtenbuch AS.app' --sign '3rd Party Mac Developer Installer: INtex Publishing GmbH & Co. KG' 'InstallationINtexFahrtenbuchAS.pkg'
Furthermore we checked for extended attributes everywhere with
ls -lad@ *
and removed any with
xattr -d -r com.apple.FinderInfo *
xattr -d -r com.apple.ResourceFork *
Packaging with Product Builder went fine and installation test with sudo was no problem.
Still we can´t upload our installer to iTunes connect. Message is once again but this time only:
The product archive is invalid. The installer package may not include paths outside of a bundle.
What can we do about that ? There is no path outside the bundle ...

Team package will not deploy

Hello - I must be missing something simple as I am totally unable to create packages and deploy them to our Creative Cloud for Team members.
From the reading I have done, the following seems to be correct, but I have had no success.
Create Package:
1. Clean install Windows 7 64-bit Sp1 on new hard drive.
2. Create local administrator on machine named "Builder" and Logon to Builder.
3. Logon to Creative Cloud as Team administrator, download and install CCP and logon as Team administrator
4. Cache preference set to default C:\Users\Builder\AppData\Local\Adobe\CCP\
5. Package details set to: name=Image; Save=C:\Users\Builder\Downloads\AdobeCloud; Named Licensing; 32-bit
6. Package configurations set to: Disable desktop app; ignore conflicts; disable update mgr; enable remote update; deploy to default directory
7. Select English (North America), Select Apps: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Acrobat, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
8. Packager starts at 7:25pm and completes with no error messages at 9:15pm (roughly 2hrs).
9. Image folder is about 5GB in size; Copy image folder to the \\NAS\ClientApps\Adobe folder on a network attached storage device.
Deploy Package:
1. Clean install Windows 7 64-bit Sp1 on new hard drive.
2. Create local administrator on machine named "Builder" and Logon.
3. Run a cmd session as administrator; map \\NAS\ClientApps to Z: drive, change directory to Z:\Adobe\Image\Exceptions
4. From cmd line execute ExceptionDeployer --workflow=install --mode=pre; completed without error displayed
5. Verified Adobe Acrobat XI Pro installed using control panel uninstall/change program
6. From windows explorer, navigate to \\NAS\ClientApps\Adobe\Image\Build and Run setup.exe as administrator
7. Progress bar gets just past half way, rolls back to no progress, and setup exits without error displayed
8. Verified no additional Adobe apps are installed.
9. Trying to run Acrobat causes an error message requesting an uninstall and reinstall Acrobat.
Any help would be much appreciated, as I am sure it is something simple I have overlooked.

Deploying CCP package does not require installation of any other software. I have your log file and 1603 is the error what I see. 1603 is a generic error which is computer specific. Please go through the mentioned kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-1603-install-cs3-cs4.html and try the steps and try to install again. Please do not run the msi but instead try to run the setup within the build folder as run as admin and let me know whether it worked. If still it rolls back enable hidden admin: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/ and try installing again. Please let me know whether it worked.

Best practices says plug the USB cable into the computer, then plug the 30 pin connector into the iPhone.
If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.
Depending on what settings are selected in iTunes, the program may or may not automatically open when you connect the device.

You could follow the instructions in the support document that you linked from. There is a section regarding the passcode and the inability to use it or enter it. However, you may encounter more issues since you cannot use the screen.

Import statement reports 'package does not exist'

I am seeing another odd error. I'm working on learning how to read and write to text files, and I have 2 errors reported, but one is obviously caused by the other. My package is labeled as such (copy>paste of package line):

and the import line is this (copy>paste again):

However, Netbeans looks at the import and flags it red, saying package michaelchristopherp4db does not exist. this caused my line:

to also be flagged in red as it cannot find the ProductRecord class. However, it has no problems with any of the product.get* method calls. Thank you in advance for any ideas or input.

I am embarrassed to admit this, but I am completely lost on the last question.. I have no clue wether it is a convenience for development or a dependancy, as I have not learned those terms or distinctions yet. For now I copied the ProductRecord file into my new project folder and renamed it's project line to match the new project name. However, while that eliminated the package does not exist error, and netbeans reports no errors now, when I run the program it does not write the new files. I have made some modifications to the code tryiing to get it to write properly but so far no luck in makingit work. Here is the current version of the file not running right.

}//end application readTxtwith the System.out.printf lines in the ReadProducts method it would properly print to screen all of the elements in the products.txt file, it is not outputting to the other .txt files at all. I will be exploring the closeFile method in case the error is due to not closing all of the files in that method, but does anyone else see what might cause it not to output the data to the appropriate .txt files?
