Burden Cost shows as Financial Item in Workplan Actual Cost

We are burdening Cost in Project Manufacturing. When Actual Cost shows in Project Management it is displaying Raw cost as Labor and Burden Cost in Financial Item row as unplanned cost. Any ideas? During the planning it is correct --- Burdened Cost.

Hi Connell,
For your first question, you have to set the correct parameters in the file menu, options for the earned value analysis. Select the appropriate Baseline (Baseline 1) and the physical % complete:
Then you are talking about a chart. What chart is it? Have you first checked the BCWP column in MS Project Pro if you do have values before exporting data? Also have you set the status date? Do you have work resources with a standard rate?
For your 2nd question, depending on your Project version, you can use the visual report (2007, 2010, 2013) or the report feature (2013) using the cumulative fields (actual cost, Baseline, cost...).
Hope this helps,

  • Planned cost correct in value category, problem in actual cost after GI

    Hi,
I have maintained cost elements for value categories for material. The cost comes correctly under value category. After doing good issue of this material. The cost comes in maintenance order actual cost. But it does not appear under value category expected (it should fall in same value category as planned cost). Please suggest on this.
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi,
The value category / cost elements combination is corret & this is the reason why the cost comes in proper value category in planned cost when the material is reserved.
But when the material is issued, it does not come in same value category under actual cost head.
I believe there are no different settings for planned cost & actual cost related to value category & cost element.
In my understanding, if the cost comes in planned cost then it should come in same value category in actual cost.
Please correct if I am wrong.
    Thanks

  • Table where i see actual cost line item for order (KRMI)

    Dear.
I need to know the table of every single document number of a cost element that I see in the actual cost line item for orders using transaction KRMI.

    Hi
Refer the field Object No (OBJNR) in COEP.. In your case, the OBJNR would be ORXXXXYYYYYYYYYYY, where OR means Order, XXXX = Contr Area and YYYYYYYY = Int Order No with preceeding zeroes
Qty is also recorded in COEP

  • Actual cost of material in COPA

    Hi Team,
We have implemented PP, CO & COPA  our client has the requirement to see the actual cost of material in COPA as per their requirement we designed the KE30 report as product wise profitability report in that report we used the record types B( direct postings from FI), C(Order settlement), D(over head cost) from the copa assessment cycle & F ( SD billing).
    1) Is it possible to see the actual cost of material( Including activity cost) in copa.
    2) If it is possible please advise.

    Hello
It is not possible to get the actual cost of the material in COPA. Actual cost can only be derived if you implement material ledger.
However in COPA we may come close to actual cost to some extent. The following configuration needs to be done:
    1. Run standard cost estimate every month so that the price reflects the most recent material prices.
    2. Define assessment cycles for auxiliary cost centers (whose cost should form part of inventory cost) to production cost centers.
    3. Configure for splitting and revaluation at actual price.
    4. Take the production variances to COPA.
    5. Create a report to show the standard cost and variances.
One of the difference is that the total standard cost is for the quantities sold during the period however the variances will be for the quantities produced during the period.
Another difference is that the unabsorbed overheads could not be allocated to individual materials.
    Hope this helps.

  • Actual cost disappeared

    Hi all,
Please if any one can help me,
After entering the standard and actual cost for the items for the opening period and run the revaluation by test subsidiary ledger update request I found that the actual costs for this period are disappeared , by the way I entered the actual cost by copying the standard cost for the same period.
    Thanks
    Tamer

If you are copying from a Standard Cost Method into an Actual cost method, then you should not run Actual cost Process for that period. Actual Cost Process will clear out the existing cost of all items (under that cost method) and try to recalculate the cost (both Raw Material and Finished Good) using the Actual Transactions in that period.

  • CORUPROC is not doing "Actual-Cost Calculation" - still in CO1P.

    Hello friends,
As per SAP documentation, and many SCN posts I went through - all of them said CORUPROC is the program to run as batch job, and CO1P is its equivalent online transaction.  In my quality system, I see CORUPROC is not doing the "Actual-Cost Calculation" - and even if I execute CORUPROC online (through SE38), it is not clearing them. (It is clearing the goods movement entries).  CO1P still shows all the order/operation awaiting actual cost calculations.  If I select them in CO1P, and click <save>, they are cleared.
So can someone guide me how can I make CORUPROC to do the actual cost calculation please.
    Thanks,
    - Chetan

    Hi
I would expect to have this record processed by report CORUPROC.
It's quite easy to analyze this program in debug. Set a break-point on the line below:
    IF NOT g_costs IS INITIAL
Now follow the program execution until function module CO_RB_POST_ACTUAL_COSTS is called. If the function module is called, check if it was executed correctly reading the value of variable SY-SUBRC.

  • Updating Unit Cost by using Actual Cost Adjustments

    Hi,
How can we adjust Unit Cost by using Actual Cost Adjustments Window?
By giving Cost Adjustment without giving Adjustment Qty, the amount was adjusted to total quantity (transacted during the period). But I want to increase unit cost by a fixed amount. Is there any option?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
there are some patches released by oracle 5-6 months back(5003789 and 4735489) having this feature.
There is also a meatalink note is available, expalins this cost adjustment type called Unit Cost Adjustment. This is the way it works.....
The Actual Cost process now supports this new adjustment type where you adjust
the actual unit cost of the item with the specified cost. The Actual Cost process
calculates the cost of the item per the current logic and then applies this unit cost
adjustment to calculate the new adjusted cost. This adjusted cost becomes the new actual cost of the item.First the New Unit Cost (without the Unit Cost Adjustment) is calculated. The Unit Cost Adjustment is included only after the Actual Cost is calculated based on the existing Adjustment types. Then, the New Unit Cost (with the Unit CostAdjustment) is calculated.
    Hope this helps...

  • Actual cost splitting - secondary cost element

    Hi All,
My knowledge on actual cost splitting for cost centers are limited.
Basically i am trying to use actual activity price calculation. In my splitting structure i have two different cost element group for two activities and i am using splitting rule 30 i.e., activity quantity. The system does the splitting perfectly based on the cost elements groups specified in splitting structure, but i am facing a strange problem. i have also allocated costs from different cost center to the prod cost center used for price calculation through assessment. But i havent used the secondary cost element in none of the cost element group for activities, but still the system is taking the cost of the allocated costs in secordary cost elements and allocates to both the activities in 50:50, which i am able to see in splitting showing as "division of activity-independed actual costs".
Can anybody please let me know, is this the way it works or something has gone wrong.
    Thanks
    With Best Regards,
    GJ

".....the actual costs are distributed on the activity types according to splitting rules. If you have not defined any splitting rules for a cost center, the R/3 System splits actual costs based on the <b>equivalence numbers</b> for the activity types. "
Your case could construed to be a missing splitting rule, because the cost element group is missing the secondary cost element within the splitting structure. As a result, the system may use the equivalence number of the activity types and distribute.
Check the <b>equivalence number</b> of your two activities, it  may be 1 and 1 for both activities; hence those costs getting divided equally.  I suspect nothing has gone wrong.

  • How can I crosscheck Total Planned/Actual Cost in MCI3 (S061) correct?

    Hi Masters,
I want to crosscheck "Total Planned Cost" and "total Actual Cost" in MCI3(S061) - Location and Planning analysis is correct or not.'
In my current system I am trying to compare the Orders in IW39 and MCI3 but costs are not matching.
I have done some analysis and found that the costs are updated in S061 from PMCO.
But for same Orders in months e.g August I am getting posting for July,August and Semptember.
So I am not sure how I can compare the values of "Total Planned Cost " and Total Actual Cost" in S061 to IW39.
If it is possible to compare what selection criteria I should use for fetcing the Orders from AUFK or IW39. Which dates are I should used ( Date range - Period, Basic start/end dates, Actual start/End Dates).
    With Best Regards,

    SAP- Manufacturing.

    Hello,
Comparing the MCI3 & IW39 cost figures is not right as per my knowledge.
S061-->following below logic for calculations for Actual Cost and Planned Cost
Total planned costs for PM measures
Sum of planning costs for PM measures
This key figure will be updated when a PM order with a time reference is created and changed at the starting date of the posting period, in which the costs were created.
Total of the actual costs for PM measures
This key figure is updated with every cost-relevant transaction for a PM order (for example, completion confirmation, material withdrawal) for the beginning date of the posting period, in which the costs were created. For historical orders, the key figure is updated when creating and changing a historical order with a time reference to the starting date of the posting period which was determined for the reference date of the order.
Total of actual costs for companyu2019s own material for PM measures
This key figure is updated for every cost-relevant operation for a maintenance order (for example, time confirmation, material withdrawal).
For historical orders, the key figure is updated when creating and changing a historical order with a time reference to the starting date of the posting period which was determined for the reference date of the order. The key figure update is important from a business point of view only when a material removal is made.
Total of actual costs for external material for PM measures
This key figure is updated with every cost-relevant transaction for a PM order (for example, completion confirmation, material withdrawal) for the beginning date of the posting period, in which the costs were created.

  • CO-PC Cost components are not assigned when actual cost was posted

    Hi Expert,
I estimate material cost by Tcode CK11N, the result is cost components were assigned to plan cost. It's okay. But, I have a problem when posting actual cost.
After actual cost was posted by confirming backflush, I run Tcode KKBC_PKO to check again, but Cost Component field is not assigned to actual cost.
    Please tell me the reason.
    Regard,

    Hi,
    Thank for your answer.
I will check Cost component Structure, and ensure that all cost elements were assigned.
Additional, cost components were assigned to PLAN cost, but not assigned to ACTUAL cost.
Do I have to configure something more?

  • Permit not assigned for Actual cost

    Hi Dears,
Permit not assigned for actual cost in maint order
Actual cost in maintenance order is 3000
In IPMD, cost1 is assigned with class ACTUAL COST and value 3000 is defined.
In OIPG,  Permit class ACTUALCOST is assigned.
Goods issue done to order for value 3000.
Again cost determination executed, but still cost1 is not assinged to the work order.
    Am i missing anything ?
    Regards,
    Alagesan M

    Hi
In charac CT04 i maintained one value 3000 and table maintained CSEVPERMIT and IKOSTEN
In class CL01, assigned the charac for 049 class type
In OIPG, permit class is maintained with class
In IPMD, new permit created and assigned class in classification and maintained 3000
Now order created and component assigned the planned value is 3000.
through MIGO goods issue done and found the actual value is 3000.
But still opened the permit found nothing assigned.
For Estimated cost and planned costs it is working good only for actual cost permit is not assigning.
Actual cost we need to anything more other than this ?
