Burn multiple video files to one single DVD

I am converting a ton of old home videos to digital format, and I want to store them on DVDs.  I'm using Elgato Video Capture to connect my VCR to my Mac which works fine for creating mp4s.  I can then "right-click" on the mp4 file name in Finder and one of the options is "Burn [filename] to Disc".  This is fine.  But my problem is that many of these videos are fairly short clips and I don't want to use one single DVD for each one.
Does anyone know any way that I can burn multiple mp4 files onto one single DVD?  Whenever I go to burn one of them to Disc, it seems to want a blank disc each time.
I suspect there is software out there that I could purchase, but I was hoping not to spend much money on this project.  Any way of doing this in the standard Mac software?  Or maybe a not too expensive DVD burner software I could buy which would allow this?
Thanks!

  • Concatenate multiple pdf files into one single postscript file

    Hi,
Could anyone help me with a code to "Concatenate Multiple pdf files into one single postscript file" ?
    Thanks for the help

Thanks for your reply! Actually the main purpose is to allow user to select multiple pdf documents on a single web page and then he should be able to print all of them at once by hitting the print button on the web page instead of selecting each document seperately to print it. Also he should be able to see all the printing services available to print those documents.
    Thanks,

  • Concatenate multiple pdf files into one single file

    hi,
Could any one help me with a code "combining or merging multiple pdf files selected from the browser into one single document" to send it as one single request to the printer?
    Thanks ,

It is called the Big Faceless PDF library.
they have a free trial download.
in regards to doing it yourself, of course.
but this is a pure java library that can do what you want without you having to re-invent the wheel (for a price of course).
they have excellent technical support as well, usually solving your problem within a day or so.

  • Multiple EAR files in one single domain ?

can i deploy multiple EAR files in single domain
    thanks,
    KM

I'm not sure what a "domain" is in this context. I suppose it depends on the J2EE server you're using. Weblogic has something called a "domain", and sure in that server you can deploy multiple EARs in one domain, and there can be multiple domains.

  • Burning multiple video clips on one disc

    Hi Guys,
I have 12x3 minute music videos (about 300 mb. each) which I want to burn onto one DVD.
I am unsure of the correct method. I have tried using Toast but it didn't work.
The 12 videos have all been exported using Quicktime conversion and were shot in HDV.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Should work. I do it all the time.
    How is it not working?
Are you trying to make a DVD that will play on a set-top DVD player? Or just burn the files to a DVD disc for use on a computer?
Standard workflow - for a DVD that plays in a set-top DVD player:
Export a QuickTime movie from the editor without Conversion and Self-Contained.
Open Toast, click on the Video Tab
    Choose DVD
Drag in file(s) to the Toast window
Set the menu (if you want one)
Click on Burn, Toast encodes the files for the DVD and then burns the disk.

    Hello, I have a question.
I've got one .mov  video and one .mp4, both 3 minutes long. Now I want to burn both of them on one single dvd, with a menu (if possible) so i can choose between them.
    How can I do this?

You could use iMovie if you own it. Look here for an example...

  • Burn multiple iphoto albums to one dvd

    Hi,
I would like to burn multiple iphoto albums onto one dvd.
Any help would be much appreciated,
    Brandon

What's the destination of this disk? Another Mac with iPhoto? Then use the Share -> Burn command
Anything else: Select the Albums in the iPhoto Window and export them to Folders on the desktop. Then burn those folders with the Finder.
One exception: Going to view the files on a DVD player? You'll need to create the disk in iDVD.

  • Burn multiple imovie projects to one dvd with menu

How do i burn multiple Imovie projects to one dvd with roxio toast 10? Can i add all of the projects or do i need to export them as a quicktime movie first or something?

You can share the first movie from iMovie, but all the others will need to be exported from iMovie as movies and dragged into the iMovie project.

  • FCPX DVD export to Compressor: error burning disc; video file incompatible for DVD creation

I've been working on a project for months now (feature film) in Final Cut Pro X. Therefor I have done about 20 exports already from within FCPX to Compressor for DVD. Did the same process last night as always.
From within project timeline I go to SHARE -> DVD -> setup a basic menu then select USING COMPRESSOR
Compressor opens. I click submit and after the progress indicator fills up way too fast, I get this error:
"there was an error burning your disc the video file is incompatible for DVD creation"
DVD spits out and that's it. Compressor and FCPX are both still running and haven't crashed but I'm confused. I have burned since the recent 10.0.3 upgrades (and whichever upgrade just came out for Compressor as well) so I can't imagine it's the upgrade.
    Any ideas?
I tried making a duplicate of the project and renaming and exporting and had the same results.
At this moment I am trying to export to DVD directly from FCPX with default settings and it has bee "processing" with no movemtn on the progress bar for an hour (it's a 2 hour video so this may not be abnormal).

  • How do you join multiple video files?

I have multiple video files, all encoded with same codec, together so that I have 1 single large file. How do I do it with FCP? Ive tried doing it, but for some reason the final file is twice as large as the sum of the individual files...
    Thanks!!

When you export an FCP edit, you get one file from many.
If the individual files are all sequenced on one track, with no gaps between them,
AND everything is all the same codec, the output file will be approx. the same size
as the sum of the input files.
You might be accidentally using a different codec, however. Verify by opening
a source clip and your export clip in QuickTime Player, and selecting Get Info.
Compare pixel dimensions, frame rate, etc.

  • How do i combine multiple pdf file into a single pdf file?

how do i combine multiple pdf files into a single pdf file?

The thread was started in early March and it's Mid-April, I know this very well. The OP of this thread posted a very common and simple question or maybe he/she would have resolved this. For an Adobe Acrobat user it's not at all difficult to combine multiple PDF files into one. But to combine PDF files full version of Adobe Acrobat is mainly required, otherwise PDF files can't be combined. For example, I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. These simple steps are mainly required to combine PDF files:
    Open Adobe Acrobat.
Click on Combine and click on Merge files into a single PDF.
A window will be appearing, click on Add Files and select the PDF files you want to combine.
Arrange the selected files in any order with the help of Move Up and Move Down button.
Now click on Combine File and the selected PDF files will be combined within a few seconds.
A new PDF file will be created. Click on Save As and name this new PDF file. Then, click on Save.
A new PDF file will be created and all the selected PDF files are combined in it. The steps shown above might be different in other versions of Adobe Acrobat. Other than this, some third-party PDF merge software are also available. Most of them are available with a demo version for free evaluation. I've heard much about SysInfoTools PDF Merge software on other forums and directories and it's demo version is freely available. One may check its demo version if Adobe Acrobat (full version) is not available.

  • Replace audio in multiple video clips at one time

Hello. I am new to the forum so I apologize if I break any of the rules!
I have a collection of tutorial videos, all edited but the audio had some balance issues. The files were not in Premiere Pro at the time. They are the final edited videos but then I was told the audio needed to be adjusted.
I have re-balanced the audio, saved the audio as wav files and now I need to replace the old audio (in the finished video file) with the new audio (the wav files I edited and saved). The timing is all the same. It's just a matter of replacing the current file.
Is this doable as a batch process? Is it doable in Premiere Pro or do I need to use Audition or some other Adobe software?
    I hope this makes sense.
    Thank you in advance!

  • Can I save both DVD-R and DVD-Video files onto the same DVD?

Can I save both DVD-R and DVD-Video files onto the same DVD?

    Hi Stan,
I just want the user to be able to run my video clips either on a
computer or on a standard DVD player. It would be nice to include both
formats on a single disc. I am new to this and am not sure what format
is most widely used for standard DVD players. Thanks for your response
and any guidance you can give me.

  • Multiple video formats in one feed?

My podcast (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=348713189) has videos formatted for Apple TV, but that means subscribers can't load it on their iPods. Is there a way to host multiple video formats in one feed?
    Feed url = http://buzz.snow.com/media/lindseyisepic.xml

The 'enclosures' in a feed don't all have to be the same format, so you could certainly mix differently formatted episodes.
But note that different versions have to appear as different episodes (even if it's the same content) - you can't have two 'enclosure' tags within one 'item' tag - the second will be ignored.
Another point is that if you do two versions of every episode you are forcing subscribers to download both versions, so there is a lot of redundant downloading going on. It might be better to make two different podcasts, one with the Apple TV versions and one with the iPod version: note that if you do this the titles must be different (so you could add the media type in the title) and of course the second version must be submitted as a new podcast. Once done, iPod users wouldn't have to download all the Apple TV files and vice versa.

  • Joining multiple mp3 files into one

    Hi all,
I am very puzzled as to how to merge multiple mp3 files into one, to upload to Mixcloud. Now, I do have the "Join Together" script and it worked like a charm a few times but now it just freezes and there's nothing I can do.
Any ideas? Is there any DJ software, other than Nicecast, that could merge the files?
Any help will be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Fronzenfields,
A lot of folks preparing mixes for Mixcloud use Audacity.  It is a free audio editor, and has both Mac and Windows versions.
Besides joining tracks, it will also let you do crossfades, volume adjustments and other typical audo editing functions necesary to create a good quality mix.
Editing in Audacity does not modify the original tracks.  You import the tracks into Audacity, do the edits, and  then export a single MP3.
