Burn was not successful

Hello, I recently put together a movie. I had one part of a video and added another part of it using QuickTime Pro. The videos were originally AVI files but after combining the videos in QT, the new format became .MOV. I was OK with all of this. When it came time to burn, everything was perfect. I selected the movie I wanted to add, did the whole but, and the disc had ALMOST burned. This is what happened...
It said I had about a minute (or two) left of "Multiplexing" and the disc all of a sudden pops out (with the status still saying "Multiplexing"... So, I took the disc out, went to the TV, and nothing worked. The menu doesn't even come up. It's like the DVD player doesn't even read it. However, after going to the TV to try and get this disc to work, I went back to the computer and there was a message on that said: "Continue or Cancel" and I choose "Cancel" because by this point, the disc had already been ejected...
My question is:
1) Why did the disc pop out before it was complete?
2) How do I stop it from popping out before it's completed?
3) What can I do to fix this problem? (Does it need to be in AVI instead of MOV?)

Have you ever used Roxio Toast? Have you ever had Toast spit the disc back out at you? Every once in a while the app may reject the media even though everything seems to be in order and without an apparent reason or error message. It's like iDvd in this respect. Both can be very selective about what they will burn to and at what speed (although Toast is less picky than iDvd in most cases). It might take more than one attempt (sorry to say). That's why it's a good idea to simply hit continue even if it takes multiple attempts. It doesn't hurt to try a second or third attempt. It's still possible to accept the dvd. Eventually it will take the dvd and burn it exactly as requested in the first place. But then again, your own mileage may vary.

It means your file is too large to fit on a single layer disk.
Recompress to keep the overall size (audio,video and menus) below 4.5GB

I am attempting to burn my first dvd w/ dvdstudio pro. I pressed burn. Processing took approximately 25 minutes. Everything seems to be goin well. The I get the following message,
"Formatting was not successful. Layer 0 exceeds the maximum layer size allowed. Please choose a suitable marker location that will support this condition."
Can anyone help me out with this?

It sounds like you are trying to burn a dual layer disc. Do you need a dual layer disc? (i.e., do you have more than 4.3 GB of material?) If you do then there is a tutorial at;

Do you understand about layer breaks? Check the manual on this. Also do some googling. I went thru **** with this a few months back being unable to set a layer break. Finally realized that my dvdsp project had gotten corrupted. Had to rebuild it and then it worked.

Error when posting - Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful

We recently completed an upgrade to ECC6.0 and this week we have seen two cases of receiving an error when trying to post payroll to FI using RPCIPE00.
The error we are receiving is: Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful, Message no. 3G100
The diagnosis on the error message is: Feature PPMOD has been called to set the employee grouping for account determination. This call was unsuccessful and suggests that we check the decision tree for PPMOD.
While there have been some somewhat recent changes to PPMOD, I have stepped through the feature for both individuals who had this error and can find no problem with the logic in the decision tree. I've also regenerated the feature successfully. After searching OSS I found note 1243065, which is the exact error that we are receiving. The problem is that this note was included in HR support pack 44, and we're already on HR support pack 48. We also found a post that suggested we use RPCIPE00_OLD, but gave us the same error.
My next step was to post a customer message, but thought it would be worthwile to post something here and see if anyone has any suggestions first.

The issue may not be related to the note you indicated as this note should already be included in your system with SP 48. Please check what personnnel areas the errors ees are in, and see if they're in the decision tree of 'PPMOD' .
If this looks OK, run payroll simulation for the error ee, put break-point in form 'CALL_549B' of program '/1PAPA/FEAT310PPMOD' and see what value STRUC-WERKS (pers. area) is when it fails.

By release you mean you are unable to checkin a document?
How are you trying to checkin the document? DIS, SOAP, standard checkin form page??
It looks as if you haven`t supplied a security group or content id on the document meta data when you have checked in the document..
You can automatically assign content ids by going to admin server and enabling auto assign id check box.
John should only need the admin role, that will give the user full access.

Hi, I was able to reformat my iPod and that worked. I read it on one of the threads and I am copy pasting the method below:
I opened the "My Computer" window and right-clicked on my ipod, and then selected "Format". I select "Yes" to format since I don't have anything on the nano to delete anymore.
I then Eject my nano from the computer and did a restart while the nano is disconnected from the computer.
Once Windows finish loading I reconnect the USB to the nano(back of computer) which automatically pulls up iTune. It asked me to name the new ipod detected and created a playlist for that specific ipod name.

I have also had the same problem with my Win 7 32 bit computer. I had great help from Apple techs in Montreal and Orlando for 2.5 hours. They helped me remove every trace of Apple products and clean the registry in two different ways. Each install gave the same problem! If Apple techs can't fix it (on some of our machines) then we are really in trouble. They promised to raise it with the "engineers" and get back to me with a solution. I am waiting and hoping. Otherwise maybe version 11.1.5 will have a fix ??

Blackberry passport cannot connect to win 7 pro device driver software was not successfully installed

I cannot get my passport to connect to eather of my PC's, one is running Win 7 Pro 64bit, and one is running Win 7 pro 32bit. both pc's give me the same driver error-"device driver software was not successfully installed" i have latest versions of Link and Blend installed on the pc's, and 10.3.0.908 on my pasport madel SQW100-1

As the problem you are facing is a dial out issue on MPE, go
through the checklist mentioned below in order to confirm the configuration
is intact.
Here is the checklist :
1.    Ensure that H323 GW is defined on CCM/CUCM.
Device > Gateway > find.
Look for a device name that equals either MPE's hostname, FQDN, or IP
Address.
2.    Ensure that h323 Gateways are configured on MPE.
MPE Administration Center > System Configuration > Call Configuration > H323
Configuration
Ensure that h323 is enabled.
Ensure that you have entered your CCM's IPs in h323 Gateway 1, 2
3.    Ensure that CCM's interface with MPE is up.
Ensure that MPE's IP Address is listed under the "IP Address" column.
Ensure that this IP Address is that of the FIRST NIC on MPE, not the second.
4.    Verify that MPE has the CSS required to call the destination.
FIRST, FIND MPE's CSS:
When MPE places a call, the CSS in question is Device > Gateway > MPE-GW >
Inbound
THEN the relevant config is under Device > "Call Routing Information -
Inbound Calls" > Calling Search Space
SECOND, FIND DESTINATION PATTERN's PARTITION:
If the destination is an IP Phone within the CCM/CUCM Cluster, then the
relevant config is under Device > Phone > click on Directory Number in CCM.
If the destination is a PSTN endpoint/phone, then the relevant config is
under Device > Route Pattern.
5.    Ensure that your user profile is set to allow outdials.
MPE Administration Center > User Configuration > User Profile Management >
Your User Profile > Can call out of meetings should be set to "Yes".
6.    When you place a call from from the CLI, the system applies permissions
from the "Guest" User profile since mpxadmin or root are not Users within
the MPX application. To allow this to work, you need to verify two
settings:
MPE Administration Center > User Configuration > User Profile Management >
Guest > Can call out of meetings should be set to "Yes".
Ensure that the Guest profile is not in a "locked" state.
MPE Administration Center > System Configuration > Usage Configuration >
Allow Guest outdials should be set to "Yes".

Photoshop Elements 1.0.1 seems like very old software 2001 I believe. Try asking in the Elements maybe someone there will be able to answer your question. Photoshop Elements

HT5706 AppleTV fails updating, reports "The update was not successful."

Cutrrently my AppleTV is at version 6.0.2 (6646.81.1) connected to my network via ethernet. When I attempt to update my AppleTV, It downloads the update, begins step 1 of 2, preparing update, then it fails with the message "The update was not successful."

when one downloads something over the Internet the bits can get corrupted and in the process making the update broken the system detects that and will not try to update with the broken update
when people download things over the Internet the isp (internet service provider) they use cache the data for a while so if another one of their users or the same user download it again right away they will get the cached data from the isp rather having to transfer the data all the way from the original site this saves time and money in most cases
but it also mean if the data gets corrupted you have to wait a bit for their cache to flush before you try again
the process of isp's detecting if all of the data in their caches was valid would mean a lot of processing on their behalf making your isp bill higher so waiting a bit every now and then is pref'd in the eyes of most
