Burning a playlist to CD, Itunes names blank CD same name every time.

Whenever I burn a playlist to a blank audio CD, Itunes keeps naming the CD and the track the same name as a CD I burned last year. For example, I have a playlist named Song A. The track is named Song A. I insert a blank CD (untitled CD). I name the untitled cd "Song A". I select the playlist and click "burn to CD". After burning, the audio CD is now titled "Song B" and the track is titled "song B". If I do this now with "song C", the audio CD and track will still be named "Song B".

Someone else posted the same problem, and I just replied to them because I'm having the same problem too, and still need an answer. Here's the reply I sent to the other person:
Did you ever get an answer on this? I'm having the same problem. The information about a CD I've burned shows up correctly in iTunes, but on the Mac desktop, the CD title is the title of a playlist I made a long time ago. More incredibly, when I double-click on the CD icon, the Finder shows that the contents of this CD is the (one) song I burned with the old playlist; not the song that really is on this CD. Any help would be appreciated.

Just started doing this.
I move the window to Desktop 2 and quit.
Then when I reopen, it goes back to Desktop 1 in the same location it opened last time.
Isn’t this window info in the application .plist file?
Also, the Dock no longer has the option to set apps to open in a specific desktop.

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network. For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network. On my registered iTunes computer, the following message appears every time one plugs in a device and refuses to load said device to be synced: "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". Each device has been registered onto this account and this computer, and all have worked finely in the past. I am so confused as to why now seemingly without reason, none of our apple devices (one iPod, two iPhones) are allowed to have music and other material downloaded onto them. Also, as a side note, they still are charged by plugging them into the computer, however they do not even show up on the left-hand sidebar in iTunes.
It should also be noted that for my iPhone it does not allow for the new update software to be uploaded; it just says that an error has occurred, nothing more.

I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again. How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanent? I have an older machine with Windows XP.

I don't believe mounting the hard drive should be necessary, unless you have several external drives and want your computer to recognise them as folders, rather than drives. I've never had to mount a hard drive, ever. If you don't know how to do it, then it shouldn't be necessary now.
Try this:
Prepare iTunes so that it can see the external drive.
Make a note of which drive-letter the external drive has been allocated. (Look in Windows Exploer)
Look at the file location for a song. Make sure it plays (and therefore that iTunes has found it). Highlight it and select File/Get Info/Summary>Where: and make a note of the drive letter for that song.
Close and shut down the computer.
The next time you turn the computer on again, connect the external drive
Before you start iTunes - check the external drive in Windows Explorer. Is it ready, does it have the same drive-letter that it had last time? Can you go into the drive and see the files on it?
Once you can, start iTunes. (If the drive lettter has changed, you need to work out why before going any further.)
If iTunes fails to find your external drive, you need to check where iTunes is looking for your Library.
Select the same song you checked before (presumably iTunes can no longer find it). Follow the procedure for locating it. You should be able to see where iTunes thinks the file is. It's the drive that counts. Which drive letter is iTunes looking at? Is it the same one that it was previously (which should also be the same one that the drive has now).

Most YouTube content requires the Flash plugin. Sometimes it's necessary to uninstall then reinstall that plugin.
Uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Very important to uninstall the currently installed plugin first.
Now launch Safari and try a video.
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
You may also need to delete the cache associated with Safari .
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go the move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a video.

Just installed iTunes 6.0 and it crashes every time I try to access the music store.

Interesting, I have a problem with accessing my shopping cart in the itms. However everything else works. I can even buy Music using one click shopping, but ever since iTunes 6 I wasn't able to access the shopping cart.
And I like the cart buying experience, I really don't go for one click buy.

It's usually related to old firmware on your CD/DVD drive, but we'd better have a look at your DVD/CD tests first, just to be sure.
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.
